STEP 1 CHARGE YOUR LUMO LIFT
Connect the USB charger to a USB port in your computer or a wall adapter. Ensure that the
golden charging dots on the back of the sensor align with the golden prongs on the USB
charger. The sensor will light up with an orange LED while charging and a green LED once it
is fully charged. A full charge takes 2-4 hours.
DOWNLOAD THE LUMO LIFT APP
Find and open the App Store on your phone. Click ‘Search’ and enter ‘Lumo Lift’ in the
search bar. Press ‘Get’ to download.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT OR LOG IN TO THE LUMO LIFT APP
1. Open the Lumo Lift App on your iOS device.
2 a. New users:
Select ‘Sign up’ and provide your name and email address to
create your Lumo Lift account.
b. Existing users:
Select the ‘Log in’ option to log in to the Lumo Lift App.

PERSONALIZE YOUR LUMO LIFT
In order to get the best out of your Lumo Lift, we recommend that you personalize your Lift by
completing the profile information that is requested.
Information about your gender, age, height, weight, etc. will be requested for personalizing your
experience. Please provide the requested information in each of the screens and press ‘Next’ at
the end of each screen, to proceed further.

CONNECT YOUR LUMO LIFT
Please ensure you have all the accessories to set up your Lift. Kindly ensure you charge your Lift until
the LED lights up in green color. Once you have charged your Lift, you are now ready to connect it to
your device.
Please ensure that ‘Bluetooth’
has been turned ON, within the
Settings of your iOS device.
Press and hold your Lumo Lift, until
it starts to connect.
You will see this screen once your
Lumo Lift has successfully paired
with your App.

As your posture improves, we will
set more challenging goals.
We strive to understand your
posture as it is today, so that
we can help you better with
personalized training sessions.
At each stage, we set specific goals
for you, based on your current
posture.

to help you build better posture
habits over a period of time.
We understand you need some
time to adjust to the new changes.

Watch the video in the Lift App
to understand how to wear your
Lift for the best accuracy:
Place your Lumo Lift directly
below your collarbone, mid-way
between the tip of your shoulder
and your neck.
Placement of your Lift is critical to
receive accurate feedback.
In this step, learn how to wear your
Lift.
1. Remove the magnetic clasp from
your Lumo Lift.
2. Place your Lumo Lift under your
shirt, right below your
collarbone.
3. Use the magnetic clasp on the
outside of your shirt to secure your
Lift in place.
You can also use adhesives to wear
your Lumo Lift. Learn more by

Your Lift relies on the right
placement to be able to detect
your posture and provide you with
accurate feedback.
Please wear your Lumo Lift with
snug-fitting clothes. Loose clothing
may cause inaccurate feedback
vibrations, as your Lift may end up
tracking your clothing, instead of
your ‘actual’ posture.
You will see this screen once you
confirm you are wearing your Lumo
Lift correctly.

SET REMINDERS FOR YOUR SUCCESS
As with any new skill,
consistency and training is
key to develop sustainable,
good posture habits.
Use the Lift App to
configure ‘Reminders’ for
yourself to commence
training sessions each day.
Selecting ‘Allow’ helps you
receive notifications and
reminders from the App.
You can update your
notifications preference at any
time, within the App ‘Settings’.

UPDATE YOUR SOFTWARE
We ensure that your sensor
software is always updated to
give you the best experience
with your Lift.
You will see this screen when your
software is updating.

is to ensure that your sensor
software is always updated.
Once your software update is
100% complete, you will see this
screen.

CALIBRATE YOUR LUMO LIFT
The next step of the journey is
to learn how to calibrate your
Lift.
Lumo Lift learns your ideal
posture, every time you calibrate.
Calibrating means, aligning
yourself to the desired target
posture. Press ‘Calibrate’ when
you are ready.

Hold still and you will feel three
vibrations.
You will see this screen
once you have successfully
calibrated your Lift.

ASSESS YOUR POSTURE
Understanding your usual
posture and knowing your
current posture habits will help
us serve you better.
The assessment lasts an hour.
During this hour, continue to sit,
stand or move between these
positions as you normally would.
There are no ‘rules’.
STEP 11
The next step of the journey is to
assess your ‘current’ posture, as it
is today.
Just relax and be yourself, while
we learn your posture.
Get into your ideal posture and
press ‘Calibrate’.
Hold still while your Lift
calibrates.

Press ‘Start Assessment’ to
commence your Posture
Assessment session.
The countdown from 5
begins once you press ‘Start
Assessment’.
You will receive a notification on
your device, once you complete
your assessment.

When you complete your
assessment, you will see a
summary of your ‘Good posture’
minutes during the session.
Lumo Lift coaches you
by gradually setting more
challenging goals as your
posture improves.
Posture assessment sessions are
personalized for your needs and
you can set reminders to start
these sessions each day.
Choose the days and timings
you may prefer, to receive
a reminder for your training
sessions.
You will see this screen, once you
have successfully completed your
posture assessment session.

TRAIN FOR A GREAT POSTURE
The next step of the journey is
to start your training towards a
better posture.
The training sessions help you
correct your posture with specific
goals based on your previous
performance.
During the training session, your
Lift vibrates to alert you when
you slouch, so that you can
correct your posture.
STEP 12
The ‘Vibration delay’ can
be configured to suit your
requirements.
Tips are provided to help you
maintain a good posture during
your training.

Tell us how your pain is, before
you start your session.
Get into your ‘Ideal Posture’ and
‘Calibrate’ before you start your
training session.
The countdown from 5 begins
once you start your session.
You can view your progress
in the training session, on this
screen.
The ‘Real-time Posture’ tab
provides you with a ‘real-time’
visual of your current posture.
You will see a summary of your
‘Good posture’ minutes at the
end of the session.

Provide feedback on how the
session was for you, so that we
can personalize the training to
suit your needs.
A unique set of exercises are
oered at the end of each
training session.
Tips are provided to improve
your posture and sustain your
good posture habits, as you
progress through the various
training sessions.
Once you have completed your first posture training session, you can
start your own custom training session at any time. As you progress
through the various training sessions, you will receive specialized
exercises and tips, as well as more personalized challenges.
Continue to train as and
when you require, towards a
better posture.
