BEFORE PUTTI G I TO USE
Before connecting the appliance to the power suppl , let the unit stand upright for 4 hours,
which will reduce the possibilit of the cooling s stem malfunctioning due to improper
handling.
Clean our unit thoroughl before putting into use. (See “How to Clean”)
Use the parts diagram on page 4 to insure proper positioning of internal components.
TIPS FOR E ERGY SAVI GS
Keep the refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible, particularl in warm /
humid conditions.
Maintain adequate ventilation around the back and sides of the unit.
Maintain a thermostat setting of “4” under normal use.
Allow warm food to cool to room temperature before placing in the refrigerator or freezer.
Excessive ice build up will increase energ consumption. Defrost the unit when ice / frost is
¼” thick.

DA GER: Risk of child entrapment. Before ou throw awa our old refrigerator or freezer:
Take off the doors.
Leave the shelves in place so that children ma not easil climb inside.
The appliance must be correctl connected to the power suppl . (See: “HOW TO INSTALL”).
Do not use an extension cord as this can negativel affect the performance of the unit.
When transporting the refrigerator, keep the unit in the upright position. Do not tilt the
appliance be ond 45° or place the unit in upside down position.
Do not touch the cooled surfaces while the appliance operates, especiall not with wet hands,
because the skin ma stick to the cold surfaces.
It is recommended that the refrigerator is positioned awa from an combustible sources
such as gas, petrol, alcohol, lacquer and banana oil, etc. The aforementioned objects
should not be stored in the refrigerator under an circumstances.
Do not freeze bottled liquids such as carbonated soft drink, beer, wine, etc. Doing so can
cause glass bottles and aluminum cans to rupture.
If the unit fails to cool properl , dispose of spoiled food as needed.
All repairs should be made b a qualified service technician. Repairs made b non-qualified
personnel will void the warrant .
Do not defrost the appliance with other electric devices (hair dr er etc.) and never scrape the
ice or frost la er with sharp tools.
The rating plate is inside the appliance or outside on the rear wall.

HOW TO OPERATE
Starting Your ew Refrigerator
1. Clean the refrigerator thoroughl . Wipe the outside with a soft dr cloth, the interior with a
clean moist cloth.
2. Insert the power suppl cord into the socket.
3. Turn the thermostat dial to “7”. Close the door and let the refrigerator operate for 20 minutes.
4. Reduce the thermostat to a mid-range setting “4” on the thermostat control.
Temperature Control
To control the internal temperature, adjust the
thermostat dial. “1” is the warmest setting. “7”
is the coldest. To turn the refrigerator off,
turn the temperature control knob to “0”. *
*Note:
Turning the temperature control to
“0” position stops the cooling c cle
but it does not shut off the power
suppl to the refrigerator.

The Dial ma be set an place on the scale. It does not have to be set exactl on a number. To
make ice cubes in the freezer compartment, adjust the thermostat to the coldest setting. (“7”)
ote: Wait 3-5 minutes before restarting if ou unplug the refrigerator. The unit ma fail to
operate properl if restarted too quickl .
HOW TO DEFROST
Defrost the freezer compartment when the ice / frost is approximatel ¼” thick. Set the thermostat
The refrigerator is not designed to be installed in an outside area such
as a garage or a porch. Ambient temperatures of below 50°F or above
100.4°F will hinder the performance of the appliance.

dial to “0” to defrost. Remove all contents from the freezer compartment. Leave the freezer door
open to allow accumulated ice / frost to melt. Remove large pieces of ice as needed. Do not use
hot water or other electric heating devices to melt the accumulated ice. After defrosting, remove
accumulated ice / water and wipe the freezer compartment dr with a soft cloth. Restart the unit
per starting instructions.

Making Ice Cubes
Take out the ice cube tra and fill the tra to 80% capacit with drinkable water. Put the ice cube
tra back into the freezer compartment and close the door.

Turn the temperature control knob to “7”.
Wait for approximatel two hours.
Twist the ice cube tra and release the ice cubes.
Reset the temperature control knob to the normal recommended setting. (“4”)
Door Reversal Instruction

Your refrigerator is built with a reversible door. You have the choice of either opening it from the
left or the right side. In order to reserve the opening direction of our door, please follow these
simple instructions:
Remove all goods in our refrigerator. Tilt the refrigerator backwards. Secure the rear from
sliding. Tape the door to the cabinet to prevent from falling.
1. Remove the upper bracket cover and then the upper bracket.
2. Separate the door from the cabinet and remove the 2 or 3 hexagonal screws from base
bracket.
3. Remove the shorter adjustable leg, pivot and washer from base bracket, and remove the
longer adjustable lag from another cabinet side.
4. Install the pivot, washer and shorter adjustable leg to opposite base bracket side.
5. Attach the base bracket to the opposite side. Then attach the longer adjustable leg to the
other side.
6. Remove the two hole inserts from cabinet top and axle door insert from door top.
7. Re-attach door to the cabinet and the upper bracket, then fix the upper bracket cover.
8. Install the axle door insert and the hole inserts.
9. As the unit was tilted, wait half an hour before plugging it in.
HOW TO CLEA

Cleaners: Never use harsh, abrasive cleaners, heav -dut cleaners, or solvents on an surface.
Exterior: Wipe with damp, suds cloth, rinse and dr . For stubborn stains and for periodic
waxing, use silicon wax.
Freezer: When refrigerator needs defrosting turn thermostat to “OFF” (“0”). Do not use sharp
instruments to scrap off ice/frost.
Refrigeration Section: Wash shelves and other removable parts in warm suds water, rinse and
dr . Wash interior with baking soda solution (3 tablespoons to I liter of water) or warm
suds water, rinse and dr .
Magnetic Door Seals: Wash with warm suds water.
The Finishing Touch: Replace all parts and return thermostat dial to desired setting.
HOW TO I STALL
Install refrigerator in a convenient location
awa from extreme heat and cold. Allow
sufficient clearance between the
refrigerator and sidewall so the door will
open without obstruction. Refrigerator is
not designed for recessed installation.
Select a space with strong level floor.
Not recommended for carpeting or other
soft / uneven surfaces.
Allow 5 inches of space between the
refrigerator’s side and the wall. In
addition, sufficient clearance (160°)
should be maintained to allow the door to
open properl and completel .
The appliance must be correctl
connected to the power suppl .
Do not use an extension cord.

POWER CORD REPLACEME T
If the refrigerator’s power cord is damaged, have it replaced b a qualified repair agent.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
The refrigerator should be cleaned on a regular basis. (See: “HOW TO CLEAN”)
It is necessar to have an adequate ventilation space around the refrigerator in order to
attain proper performance, dissipation of heat, maintain efficienc , and low power
consumption. Clearance of minimum 5 inches should be maintained at the rear and sides of
the unit and 8 inches at the top of the unit.
To attain proper performance, be sure to plug the appliance into a properl grounded
115/60 Hz outlet.
Do not modif the power cord under an circumstance to allow the unit to be plugged
into a non-grounded outlet. To avoid heat damage to the power cord, please ensure that it
does not come in proximit or in direct contact with the compressor of the refrigerator.
Please avoid installing the refrigerator in a location where the appliance will come in
contact with water or moisture to minimize rusting of metal parts.
The refrigerator should not be installed near an heat source or in a location where it will
come in direct contact with the sunlight.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
WHAT TO DO …
When the fridge is not in use for a prolonged period:
Remove the plug from the outlet.
Remove all contents from the fridge.
Dr the interior and leave the door open for a few da s.
When the refrigerator does not work:
Check if there is a power failure
Check if the power plug is plugged into the power outlet
Check that the fuse has not blown
When you wish to move the fridge:
Secure all movable parts and contents. (Package them separatel if necessar .)
Transport the fridge onl in an upright position. In an other position ou ma damage the
compressor.
Before calling service, please follow the checklist below.

If the refrigerator seems too warm inside:
Check to see that the door is closing properl and the door seal is not damaged.
Check that the interior circulation is not obstructed b having too man goods stored. (The
fridge is overloaded)
Did ou store an thing hot, without first cooling it to room temperature?
Is there sufficient clearance around all sides and above the fridge?
When the refrigerator is cooling excessively:
The temperature control dial ma be set too high
If ou place food sorts which contain a lot of moisture directl under the cool outlets, the will
freeze easil . This does not indicate a unit malfunction.

When the defrosting water overflows inside the refrigerator and onto the floor:
Check that the drain pipe and the drain hose are not clogged.
Check that the drain pan is housed properl .
When the refrigerator’s cabinet front heats up:
In order to avoid condensation, there is an anti-condensation pipe which heats up the cabinet
front when running. A warm cabinet front does not indicate a unit malfuntion.
When condensation forms on the outside of the refrigerator:
Condensation ma form on the outside when the humidit level is high such as during a wet
season. This is the same result as the condensation formed when chilled water is poured
into a glass. It does not, therefore, indicate a failure, wipe dr with a dr cloth.
If the fridge starts making any unusual noises:
Is it wobbling? Re-level it and check if it now operates normall .
Have an objects fallen behind the fridge? If so, remove them and check if operation is now
normal.
Are an containers inside the fridge vibrating or resonating? If so, rearrange them then check
to see if operation has returned to normal.

Refrigerator Warrant
MC Appliance Corp. warrants each new Refrigerator to be free from defects in material and
workmanship and agrees to remed an such defect or to furnish a new part(s) (at the compan ’s
option) for an part(s) of the unit that has failed during the warrant period. Parts and labor expenses
are covered on this unit for a period of one ear after the date of purchase. In addition, MC Appliance
Corp. warrants the compressor (parts onl ) to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a
period of 5 ears. The consumer is responsible for all labor and transportation expenses related to the
diagnosis and replacement of the compressor after the initial one- ear warrant has expired. If in the
event the unit requires replacement or refund under the terms of this warrant the consumer is
responsible for all transportation expenses to return the unit to our factor prior to receiving a
replacement unit or refund. A copy of the dated sales receipt / invoice is required to receive
warranty service.
This warrant covers appliances in use within the continental United States, Puerto Rico and Hawaii.
The warrant does not cover the following:
Damages due to shipping damage or improper installation.
Damages due to misuse or abuse.
Content losses due to failure of the unit.
Inside components such as door panels, door shelves, racks, light bulbs etc…
Punctures to the evaporator s stem due to improper defrosting of the unit.
Repairs performed b unauthorized service agents.
Service calls that do not involve defects in material and workmanship such as instruction
on proper use of the product, door reversal or improper installation.
Replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
Failure of this product if used for other than its intended purpose.
Disposal costs of failed units not returned to our factor .
An deliver costs incurred as the result of a unit that fails to perform as specified.
The consumer is responsible for a $35.00 deliver charge for all replacement units
provided under warrant .
This warrant is in lieu of all warranties expressed or implied and no representative or person is
authorized to assume for us an other liabilit in connection with the sale of this product. Under no
circumstances is the consumer permitted to return this unit to the factor without prior written consent
from MC Appliance Corp.
