installing the heater
1 General
1.1 Subject to change
The manufacturer is committed to constantly improving its products and reserves the right to make changes
in the specications without prior notice. The technical details are considered correct but do not form the
basis for a contract or warranty. All orders are accepted according to the standard terms of our general
sales and delivery conditions (available upon request). The information in this document is subject to change
without notice. The most recent version of this manual is always available at www.markclimate.com/
downloads.
1.2 General warnings
Installation must comply with applicable local and / or national codes. Therefore, have the connection box
installed by a skilled and qualied installer in compliance with national and international regulations. The
warranty will lapse in the event of incorrect installation, adjustment, modication, maintenance or repair.
Warning
Incorrect installation, adjustment, alteration, repair or maintenance work may lead to material damage or
injury. All work must be carried out by certied, qualied professionals. If the appliance is not positioned in
accordance with the instructions, the warranty shall be rendered void. This appliance is not intended for use
by children or persons with a physical, sensory or mental handicap, or who lack the required experience
or expertise, unless they are supervised or have been instructed in the use of the appliance by somebody
who is responsible for their safety.Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.

2 Preparation
2.1 Contents (Image 1)

2.2 Open Web Module
Carefully open the Web Module with a screwdriver (saw cut) at the black arrow in Image 3.
2.3 MAC-address
The MAC address can be found on the sticker of the Web Module (see Image 4). Make a note of this for
yourself, you will use it later during the installation process.

3.2 Connect to one air heater (Image 6)
Only use a shielded data/signal cable according to table [2]. See $3.2 in the technical manual of the Optith-
erm+ thermostat and images [26] in the technical manual of the GS+ / GSX air heater.
3.3 Connect to multiple air heaters* (maximum 8) (Image 7)
Only use a shielded data/signal cable according to table [2]. See $3.2 in the technical manual of the Optith-
erm+ thermostat and images [25] and [26] in the technical manual of the GS+ / GSX air heater.
For the jumper positions (burner control) see gure [25] and [26] in the technical manual of the GS+ / GSX
air heater (Image 8).
* If you want to read out fault messages and history of each air heater via
the app, you need a separate Optitherm+ thermostat (0629185) and Web
module (0629187) for each air heater.

4 Installing and using the app
1. Open the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store (this instructi-
on is based on Android)
2. Search for “RemoteVision”
3. Select RemoteVision.
Press install.
Open the application.

The Main Screen:
If you are using the application for the rst time, press “Register”.
Known users can log in with the information they provide.
You can also go to “Demo mode” from this screen.
Note: The “Demo mode” is based on a boiler.
1. Choose a username and enter it below Username.
2. Enter your own e-mail address below E-mail address.
3. Choose a password and enter it under Password.
4. Repeat this password under Conrm password.
5. Enter the MAC address found on the Web module.
(see $ 1.1 of this guide)
Press “Apply” (bottom left)

Click on the Appliance name to begin.
In this Status screen you can see the daily setpoint of the connected
units.
“Swipe” left for the next day set point setting screen.

Green Online and the unit works well
Red Online and the unit has a fault

In this screen you can see the basic data of the Web module.
The data for the following elds is xed:
Project, Appliance name, Reference and logo.
You can change the other elds by clicking on them and changing the
text.
Example completed elds.

If you want to add an extra Web module, choose “Add Appliance”
(bottom left).
Appliance refers to the Optitherm + thermostat, you enter the MAC
address of the Web module to access it.
Press: “Apply” (bottom left)

Swipe left for the next day setpoint setting screen.
In this Status screen you can set the day setpoint of the connected
units by using the Up and Down buttons.
Note:
It may take a while before a changed day setpoint becomes active
in the Appliance and will actually be seen on the display of the
Optitherm+ thermostat.
For more information about the unit, press the “Info” button

In this screen you can see all other settings of the rst connected
appliance.
This screen is refreshed every 10 seconds.
Parameters shown in dark blue can be adjusted by clicking on them.
Note:
It may take a while before a changed value becomes active in the
Appliance and will actually be seen on the display of the Optitherm+
thermostat.
If you want to change a value from the “Info” screen, you will enter
this screen.
A new value can be set by means of scroll through the values.
You can save the selected value with the “Apply” button.
Click the “Cancel” button to leave the value unchanged.
After clicking one of the two buttons you will return to the Info
screen.
Note:
It may take a while before a changed value becomes active in the
Appliance and will actually be seen on the display of the Optitherm+
thermostat.

Click on the “History” button to request the history of the unit.
In this screen you can see the history of the unit.
Then scroll down ...
Then you will see even more history of the unit.
Press “Appliance” to return to the appliance screen.

Fehlerhaft durchgeführte Installationen, Einstellungen, Änderungen, Reparaturen oder Wartungsmaßnahmen

2 Vorbereitung
2.1 Inhalt (Abbildung 1)

2.2 Web-Modul öffnen
Öffnen Sie das Web-Modul vorsichtig mit einem Schraubendreher (Schlitz) am schwarzen Pfeil, wie in Bild 3.
2.3 MAC-Adresse
Die MAC-Adresse nden Sie auf dem Aufkleber des Web-Moduls (siehe Abbildung 4). Notieren Sie es für sich
selber, da Sie es während des Installationsvorgangs benötigen.

3.2 An einen Lufterhitzer anschliessen (Abbildung 6)
Verwenden Sie nur ein geschirmtes Daten-/Signalkabel gemäss Tabelle [2]. Siehe $ 3.2 im technischen Hand-
buch der Optitherm+ Thermostats und Bilder [26] im technischen Handbuch des GS+/GSX Lufterhitzers.
3.3 Anschluss an mehrere Lufterhitzer* (maximal 8) (Abbildung 7)
Verwenden Sie nur ein geschirmtes Daten-/Signalkabel gemäss Tabelle [2]. Siehe $ 3.2 im technischen Hand-
buch der Optitherm+ Thermostats und Bilder [25] + [26] im technischen Handbuch des GS+/GSX Lufter-
hitzers.
Zu den Jumperpositionen (Brennerregelung) siehe Abbildung [25] und [26] im technischen Handbuch des
Lufterhitzers GS+/GSX (Abbildung 8).
* Wenn Sie Störmeldungen und Historie der einzelnen Lufterhitzer über die
App auslesen wollen, benötigen Sie eine separates Optitherm+ Thermostat
(0629185) und Webmodul (0629187) für jeden Lufterhitzer.

4 Installieren und Verwenden der App
1. Öffnen Sie den Google Play Store oder den Apple App Store (diese
Anleitung basiert auf Android)
2. Suche nach “RemoteVision”
3. Wählen Sie RemoteVision.
Drücken Sie Installieren
Öffnen Sie die Anwendung.

Der Hauptbildschirm:
Wenn Sie die Anwendung zum ersten Mal verwenden, drücken Sie
“Registrieren”.
Bekannte Nutzer können sich mit den von Ihnen bereitgestellten
Informationen einloggen.
Sie können auch in den “Demo-Modus” wechseln.
Hinweis: Der “Demo-Modus” basiert auf einem Zentralheiz-Gerät.
1. Wählen Sie einen Benutzernamen und geben Sie ihn unter
Username ein.
2. Geben Sie Ihre eigene E-Mail-Adresse unterhalb der E-mail
address ein.
3. Wählen Sie ein Passwort und geben Sie es unter Password ein.
4. Durch wiederholen des Passwortes dieses bestätigen.
5. 5. Geben Sie die im Webmodul gefundene MAC-adres ein.
(siehe $ 1.1 dieser Anleitung)
Drücken Sie “Anwenden” (unten links)

Klicken Sie auf den Gerätenamen, um zu beginnen.
Auf diesem Status-Bildschirm sehen Sie den Tages-Sollwert der ange-
schlossenen Geräte.
“Wischen” Sie nach links um den nächsten Tag einzustellen.
