Gefahrloses Arbeiten mit dem Ge-
rät ist nur möglich, wenn Sie die
Bedienungsanleitung und die Si-
cherheitshinweise vollständig le-
sen und die darin enthaltenen An-
weisungen strikt befolgen. Zusätz-
lich müssen die allgemeinen Si-
cherheitshinweise im beigelegten
Heft befolgt werden.
Wird bei der Arbeit das Netzkabel
beschädigt oder durchtrennt, Kabel
nicht berühren, sondern sofort den
Netzstecker ziehen. Gerät niemals
mit beschädigtem Kabel benutzen.
Schutzbrille und Gehörschutz tra-
gen. Schutzmaske tragen.
Spezielle Sicherheitshinweise
❏ Arbeiten wie Schruppschleifen oder Trennschlei-
fen mit diesem Elektrowerkzeug durchzuführen,
wird nicht empfohlen. Die Ausführung von Arbei-
ten, für die das Elektrowerkzeug nicht konstruiert
wurde, kann Gefahr hervorrufen und zu Verlet-
zungen führen.
❏ Es ist verboten Schilder und Zeichen auf das Elek-
trowerkzeug zu schrauben oder zu nieten. Eine
beschädigte Isolierung bietet keinen Schutz gegen
elektrischen Schlag. Verwenden Sie Klebeschilder.
❏ Benutzen Sie Schutzausrüstung. Benutzen Sie je
nach Anwendung Gesichtschutz oder Schutzbril-
le. Soweit angemessen, benutzen Sie Staubmas-
ke, Gehörschutz, Handschuhe und Arbeitsschür-
ze, die geeignet sind, Sie vor Polierwerkzeug-
und Werkstückteilchen zu schützen. Die Schutz-
brille muss sich eignen, die bei unterschiedlichen
Arbeiten weggeschleuderten Partikel abzuwehren.
Die Staub- oder die Atemschutzmaske muss fähig
sein, die bei der Arbeit entstehenden Partikel zu fil-
tern. Eine dauerhaft hohe Lärmbelastung kann zu
Gehörverlust führen.
❏ Die Nenndrehzahl des Polierwerkzeugs muss
mindestens gleich sein, wie die maximale auf
dem Elektrowerkzeug angegebene Drehzahl. Po-
lierwerkzeuge, die sich schneller drehen als zuläs-
sig, können zerbersten.
❏ Verwenden Sie kein Zubehör, das nicht speziell
vom Elektrowerkzeughersteller entwickelt oder
freigegeben wurde. Sicherer Betrieb ist nicht allei-
ne dadurch gegeben, dass ein Zubehör auf Ihr
Elektrowerkzeug passt.
❏ Verwenden Sie kein Zubehör, das flüssige Kühl-
mittel erfordert. Die Nutzung von Wasser und an-
deren flüssigen Kühlmitteln kann zum Tod oder zur
Verletzung durch elektrischen Schlag führen.
❏ Der Außendurchmesser und die Dicke des Polier-
werkzeugs müssen den Maßangaben Ihres Elek-
trowerkzeugs entsprechen. Falsch bemessene Po-
lierwerkzeuge können nicht passend abgesichert
oder geführt werden.
❏ Die Bohrungen des Polierwerkzeugs, der Flan-
sche, der Schleifteller und des anderen Zubehörs
müssen genau zur Spindel des Elektrowerkzeugs
passen. Polierwerkzeuge mit Bohrungen, die nicht
auf die Spindel des Elektrowerkzeugs passen, lau-
fen mit Unwucht und vibrieren stark. Sie können
dadurch die Kontrolle über das Elektrowerkzeug
verlieren.
❏ Benutzen Sie keine beschädigten Polierwerkzeu-
ge. Überprüfen Sie vor jedem Gebrauch Einsatz-
werkzeuge wie Schleifteller, Polierteller, Polier-
schwämme, Drahtbürsten auf Absplitterungen
und Sprünge, Polierteller auf Sprünge, Risse oder
starke Abnutzung, Drahtbürsten auf lose oder
gebrochene Drähte. Wenn das Elektrowerkzeug
oder das Polierwerkzeug herunter fällt, überprü-
fen Sie es/ihn auf Beschädigung oder montieren
Sie ein unbeschädigtes Polierwerkzeug. Nehmen
Sie und andere in der Nähe befindliche Personen
nach Prüfung und Montage des Polierwerkzeu-
ges eine Position außerhalb der Rotationsfläche
des Polierwerkzeugs ein und lassen Sie das Elek-
trowerkzeug eine Minute lang mit maximaler
Leerlaufdrehzahl laufen. Im Normalfall zerbers-
ten schadhafte Polierwerkzeuge bei solch einem
Probelauf.
❏ Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Polierwerkzeug
nach den Anweisungen des Herstellers montiert
ist. Das montierte Polierwerkzeug muss sich frei
drehen können. Falsch montierte Polierwerkzeuge
können sich bei der Arbeit lösen und herausge-
schleudert werden.
❏ Arbeiten Sie immer mit dem Zusatzhandgriff
oder der Griffhaube. Der Zusatzhandgriff oder
die Griffhaube gewährleisten eine zuverlässige
Führung des Elektrowerkzeugs.

❏ Reinigen Sie regelmäßig die Lüftungsöffnungen
des Elektrowerkzeugs. Das Motorgebläse zieht
Staub in das Gehäuse. Dies kann bei übermäßiger
Ansammlung von Metallstaub elektrische Gefähr-
dungen verursachen.
❏ Halten Sie umstehende Personen vom Arbeitsbe-
reich fern. Jeder, der den Arbeitsbereich betritt,
muss eine persönliche Schutzausrüstung benut-
zen. Werkstückteilchen oder geborstene Polier-
werkzeuge können herausgeschleudert werden
und auch außerhalb des unmittelbaren Arbeitsbe-
reiches Verletzungen verursachen.
❏ Führen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung vom rotie-
renden Polierwerkzeug weg. Wenn Sie die Kon-
trolle über das Elektrowerkzeug verlieren, kann
die Anschlussleitung durchtrennt oder erfasst wer-
den, und Ihre Hand oder Ihr Arm kann in das ro-
tierende Polierwerkzeug geraten.
❏ Legen Sie das Elektrowerkzeug niemals ab, be-
vor das Polierwerkzeug vollständig still steht.
Das rotierende Polierwerkzeug kann in Berührung
mit der Ablagefläche geraten, wodurch Sie die
Kontrolle über das Elektrowerkzeug verlieren kön-
nen.
❏ Tragen Sie das Elektrowerkzeug nicht mit laufen-
dem Motor. Das rotierende Polierwerkzeug kann
bei zufälliger Berührung Ihre Kleidung erfassen
und in Ihren Körper gezogen werden.
Ursachen von Rückschlag und Vorsichtsmaßnah-
men für den Bediener.
– Rückschlag ist die plötzliche Reaktion des Elek-
trowerkzeugs auf ein klemmendes oder haken-
des Polierwerkzeug, Schleifteller, Bürste oder
ein anderes Einsatzwerkzeug.
– Beim Klemmen oder Haken kommt das rotie-
rende Polierwerkzeug abrupt zum Stillstand,
wodurch das außer Kontrolle geratene Elektro-
werkzeug zu einer der Rotationsrichtung ge-
genläufigen Bewegung am Eingriffspunkt des
Polierwerkzeugs gezwungen wird.
– Das Polierwerkzeug kann abhängig von seiner
Drehrichtung an der Klemmstelle entweder zum
Bediener hin oder vom Bediener weg springen
und unter Umständen auch brechen.
– Rückschlag ist ein Ergebnis einer missbräuchli-
chen Verwendung des Elektrowerkzeugs
und/oder nicht korrekter Handhabung oder
Einsatzbedingungen. Dies kann durch die
nachfolgend aufgeführten zweckmäßigen Vor-
sichtsmaßnahmen vermieden werden.
❏ Fassen Sie das Elektrowerkzeug mit festem Griff
und halten Sie Körper und Arme in einer Position,
die geeignet ist, Rückschlagkräften zu widerste-
hen. Benutzen Sie immer den Original-Zusatz-
handgriff oder die Griffhaube, um Rückschlag-
kräfte oder das Anlaufdrehmoment bestmöglich
zu beherrschen. Der Bediener kann Anlaufdreh-
moment und Rückschlagkräfte beherrschen, wenn
zweckmäßige Vorsichtsmaßnahmen getroffen
werden.
❏ Bringen Sie Ihre Hand nie in der Nähe des rotie-
renden Polierwerkzeugs. Das Polierwerkzeug
kann beim Zurückschlagen über Ihre Hand fahren.
❏ Meiden Sie den Bereich, in den sich das Elektro-
werkzeug bei einem Rückschlag bewegen wird.
Der Rückschlag wird das Elektrowerkzeug von der
Klemmstelle aus entgegengesetzt zur Drehrichtung
des Polierwerkzeugs treiben.
❏ Seien Sie besonders vorsichtig bei der Bearbei-
tung von Ecken, scharfen Kanten usw. Vermei-
den Sie, dass das Polierwerkzeug vom Werk-
stück abprallt oder sich verkantet. An Ecken,
scharfen Kanten oder beim Abprallen neigt das
rotierende Polierwerkzeug zum Klemmen. Sie kön-
nen dadurch die Kontrolle verlieren oder es kann
zum Rückschlag kommen.
❏ Montieren Sie weder Sägeketten, noch
Holz-Kreisschneider oder Kreissägeblätter. Sol-
che Einsatzwerkzeuge führen oft zum Rückschlag
oder zum Verlust der Kontrolle über das Elektro-
werkzeug.
Sicherheitshinweise speziell für Schleifarbeiten
mit Schleifblatt.
❏ Verwenden Sie beim Schleifen kein überdimensi-
oniertes Schleifblatt. Befolgen Sie bei der Aus-
wahl der Schleifblätter den Empfehlungen des
Herstellers. Schleifblätter, die am Schleifteller
überstehen, stellen eine Verletzungsgefahr dar,
können einreißen, sich verfangen, vom Schleiftel-
ler abreißen oder einen Rückschlag verursachen.

Bestimmungsgemäßer
Gebrauch
Dieses Elektrowerkzeug ist als handgeführter Polie-
rer bestimmt für gewerblichen Einsatz für Polierar-
beiten mit geeigneten Poliermitteln in wetterge-
schützter Umgebung mit den von Würth zugelasse-
nen Einsatzwerkzeugen und Zubehör.
Für Schäden bei nicht bestimmungsgemäßen Ge-
brauch haftet der Benutzer.
Dieses Gerät ist auch für den Gebrauch an Wech-
selstromgeneratoren mit ausreichender Leistung ge-
dacht, die der Norm ISO 8528, Ausführungsklasse
G2 entsprechen. Dieser Norm wird insbesondere
nicht entsprochen, wenn der sogenannte Klirrfaktor
10% überschreitet. Im Zweifel informieren Sie sich
über den von Ihnen benutzten Generator.

Griffhaube montieren
Setzen Sie die Griffhaube auf den Getriebe-
kopf und schrauben Sie diese mit den 2
Schrauben fest.
Zusatzgriff montieren
Schrauben Sie den Zusatzhandgriff je nach
Arbeitsweise rechts oder links am Elektrowerk-
zeug fest. Entfernen Sie dazu die jeweilige
Schraube der Griffhaube.
Werkzeugwechsel
Drücken Sie den Arretierungsknopf 2 nur bei
stillstehendem Motor.
Drücken Sie den Arretierungsknopf
2 und hal-
ten Sie ihn gedrückt.
Wechseln Sie das verbrauchte Polierwerkzeug
oder setzen Sie ein neues ein.
Drücken Sie den Arretierungsknopf
2 und halten
Sie ihn gedrückt. Schrauben Sie das Polierwerkzeug
fest.
Werkstück sichern
Sichern Sie das Werkstück ausreichend. Ein
unzulänglich gesichertes Werkstück kann z. B.
zum Verklemmen des Polierwerkzeugs und zum
Rückschlag, zum Fallen des Werkstücks und ande-
ren gefährlichen Ereignissen führen.
Inbetriebnahme
Netzspannung beachten: Die Spannung der Strom-
quelle muss mit den Angaben auf dem Typschild des
Gerätes übereinstimmen.
Prüfen Sie zuerst die Netzanschlussleitung
und -stecker auf Beschädigungen.
Starten
Sie können nach dem Einstecken des Netzsteckers
die Poliermaschine in jeder Arbeitshaltung mit zwei
aufeinander folgenden Betätigungen der Tastflä-
chen
4 / 6 und des Tasters 3 starten:
Fassen Sie die Poliermaschine in der ge-
wünschten Arbeitsposition entweder hinten
(START A) oder vorn (START B), drücken Sie dabei
mindestens eine der 4 Tastflächen leicht und halten
diese gedrückt.

Hinweis: Das Polierwerkzeug beginnt sich mit kur-
zen, leistungsarmen Impulsen zu bewegen. Die Po-
liermaschine meldet damit die Betätigung der ersten
Tastfläche.
Drücken Sie
kurz den Taster 3 am Getriebe-
kopf.
Die Poliermaschine läuft sanft an und erreicht
nach kurzer Zeit die niedrigste Drehzahl.
Hinweise: Die Poliermaschine läuft nicht an:
– wenn die Tastflächen
4 / 6 und der Taster 3
zeitgleich gedrückt werden
– wenn eine oder mehrere Tastflächen gedrückt
sind, während der Netzstecker eingesteckt wird
Drehzahl einstellen
Die Drehzahl kann bei laufender Poliermaschine
stufenweise verändert werden.
Drehzahl erhöhen:
– Tastfläche 4 kurz drücken.
Drehzahl absenken:
– Tastfläche
6 kurz drücken.
Die eingestellte Drehzahl wird an der Drehzahl-An-
zeige
5 symbolisch angezeigt:
Hinweis: Das Elektrowerkzeug startet bei jedem
Startvorgang mit der niedrigsten Drehzahl.
Die
Selbstanlaufsperre verhindert, dass die Polier-
maschine selbsttätig wieder anläuft, wenn während
des Betriebs die Stromzufuhr z. B. durch Ziehen des
Netzsteckers auch nur kurz unterbrochen wurde.
Führen Sie die Netzanschlussleitung vom ro-
tierenden Polierwerkzeug weg.
Wenn Sie die
Kontrolle über das Elektrowerkzeug verlieren, kann
die Anschlussleitung durchtrennt oder erfasst wer-
den, und Ihre Hand oder Ihr Arm kann in das rotie-
renden Polierwerkzeug geraten.
Polieren
Drücken Sie das Elektrowerkzeug gleichmäßig
an, und bewegen es über die Fläche.
Überlasten Sie das Elektrowerkzeug nicht!
Vermeiden Sie ein zu starkes Erhitzen der
Werkstückoberfläche.
Stoppen
Drücken Sie den Taster 3 . Das Polierwerkzeug be-
ginnt auszulaufen.
Wartung und Reinigung
❏ Vor allen Arbeiten am Gerät Netzstecker zie-
hen.
Folgende Schritte führen Sie einmal pro Woche
durch, bei häufigem Gebrauch öfter:
Reinigen Sie die Kühlluftöffnungen.
Verwenden Sie nichtmetallische Werkzeuge
zum Reinigen der Lüftungsöffnungen.
Blasen Sie von außen durch die Lüftungsöff-
nungen den Innenraum des Elektrowerkzeugs
mit trockener Druckluft aus.
Instandsetzung dürfen nur Elektrofachkräfte
nach den gültigen Vorschriften durchführen.
Diese Gebrauchsanleitung immer dem Ausfüh-
renden der Instandsetzung mitgeben.
Wenn die Anschlussleitung des Elektrowerk-
zeugs beschädigt ist, muss sie durch eine spe-
ziell vorgerichtete Anschlussleitung ersetzt werden,
die über den WÜRTH-Kundendienst erhältlich ist.
Sollte das Gerät trotz sorgfältiger Herstell- und Prüfver-
fahren einmal ausfallen, ist die Reparatur von einem
Würth master-Service ausführen zu lassen. In Deutsch-
land erreichen Sie den Würth master-Service kostenlos

Entsorgung
Elektrowerkzeuge, Zubehör und Verpackungen sol-
len einer umweltgerechten Wiederverwertung zuge-
führt werden.

Werfen Sie Elektrowerkzeuge nicht
in den Hausmüll!
Gemäß der Europäischen Richtlinie
2002/96/EG über Elektro- und
Elektronik-Altgeräte und ihrer Um-
setzung in nationales Recht müssen nicht mehr ge-
brauchsfähige Elektrowerkzeuge getrennt gesam-
melt und einer umweltgerechten Wiederverwertung
zugeführt werden.
Gewährleistung
Für dieses Würth-Gerät bieten wir eine Gewährleis-
tung gemäß den gesetzlichen/länderspezifischen
Bestimmungen ab Kaufdatum (Nachweis durch
Rechnung oder Lieferschein). Entstandene Schäden
werden durch Ersatzlieferung oder Reparatur besei-
tigt.
Schäden, die auf natürliche Abnutzung, Überlas-
tung oder unsachgemäße Behandlung zurückzufüh-
ren sind, werden von der Gewährleistung ausge-
schlossen.
Beanstandungen können nur anerkannt werden,
wenn Sie das Gerät unzerlegt einer Würth-Nieder-
lassung, Ihrem Würth-Außendienstmitarbeiter oder
einer Würth-autorisierten Kundendienststelle für
Elektrowerkzeuge übergeben.

ANMERKUNG: Die Summe aus gemessenem Emis-
sionswert und zugehöriger Unsicherheit stellt die
obere Grenze der Werte dar, die bei Messungen
auftreten können.
Die in den Arbeitsschutzrichtlinien festgelegten Ex-
positionsgrenzwerte (z. B. der in der Richtlinie
2002/44/EG auf einen 8 Stunden - Bezugszeit-
raum normierte tägliche Expositionsgrenzwert von
5 m/s2) sollen nicht überschritten werden.
Zur Prognose der Vibrationsexposition kann der im
Labor ermittelte Wert der bewerteten Beschleuni-
gung dienen. Beim Arbeiten können von diesem La-
borwert abweichende anwendungsabhängige Be-
schleunigungen auftreten.

Working safely with this machine
is possible only when the operat-
ing and safety information are
read completely and the instruc-
tions contained therein are strictly
followed. In addition, the general
safety instructions in the enclosed
booklet must be followed.
If the mains cable is damaged or cut
through while working, do not
touch the cable but immediately pull
the mains plug. Never use the
machine with a damaged cable.
Wear protective glasses, hearing
protection and a dust protection
mask.
Special safety instructions
❏Operations such as rough grinding or cut-off
grinding are not recommended to be per-
formed with this power tool. Operations for
which the power tool was not designed may
create a hazard and cause personal injury.
❏Do not rivet or screw any name-plates or signs
onto the power tool. If the insulation is dam-
aged, protection against an electric shock will
be ineffective. Adhesive labels are recom-
mended.
❏Wear personal protective equipment.
Depending on the application, use face shield,
safety goggles or safety glasses. As appropri-
ate, wear dust mask, hearing protection,
gloves and shop apron capable of protecting
you against flying debris from the accessory
or workpiece. The eye protection must be
capable of protecting against flying particles
generated by the various different operations.
The dust mask or respirator must be capable of
filtering particles generated by your operation.
Prolonged exposure to high-intensity noise may
cause loss of hearing.
❏The rated speed of the polishing accessory must
be at least equal to the maximum speed marked
on the power tool. Polishing accessories running
faster than their rated speed can fly apart.
❏Do not use accessories which are not specifi-
cally designed and recommended by the
power tool manufacturer. Safe operation is not
ensured merely because an accessory fits your
power tool.
❏Do not use accessories that require liquid cool-
ants. Using water and other liquid coolants
may result in electrocution or shock injuries.
❏The outside diameter and the thickness of your
polishing accessory must be within the capac-
ity rating of your power tool. Incorrectly sized
polishing accessories cannot be adequately
guarded or controlled.
❏The arbour size of the polishing accessory,
flanges, sanding plates and any other acces-
sory must properly fit the spindle of the power
tool. Polishing accessories with arbour holes
that do not match the spindle of the power tool
will run out of balance, vibrate excessively and
may cause loss of control.
❏Do not use damaged polishing accessories.
Before each use inspect application accessories
such as sanding plates, polishing discs, polish-
ing sponges, wire brushes for chips and cracks,
polishing plates for cracks, tears or excess wear
and wire brushes for loose or broken wires. If
the power tool or the polishing accessory is
dropped, inspect for damage or install an
undamaged polishing accessory. After inspect-
ing and installing a polishing accessory, position
yourself and bystanders away from the plane of
the rotating polishing accessory and run the
power tool at maximum no-load speed for one
minute. Damaged polishing accessories will nor-
mally break apart during this test time.
❏Make absolutely sure that the polishing acces-
sory is mounted in accordance with the man-
ufacturer’s instructions. The mounted polish-
ing accessory must be able to rotate freely.
Incorrectly mounted polishing accessories can
loosen during operation and fly off.
❏Always work using the auxiliary handle or the
gear housing cover. The auxiliary handle or
the gear housing cover ensures reliable guid-
ance of the power tool.
❏Clean the ventilation openings on the power tool
at regular intervals. The motor blower draws dust
into the housing. An excessive accumulation of
metallic dust can cause an electrical hazard.
❏Keep bystanders away from the working
area. Anyone entering the working area must
wear personal protective clothing/equipment.
Fragments of the workpiece or broken polishing
accessories can fly out and also cause injuries
to persons outside the actual working area.

❏Conduct the mains lead away from the rotat-
ing polishing accessory. If you lose control over
the power tool, the mains lead could be cut
through or caught, thereby drawing your hand
or your arm into the rotating polishing acces-
sory.
❏Never lay the power tool down until the pol-
ishing accessory has come to a complete stop.
The rotating polishing accessory could come
into contact with the underlying surface and
cause you to lose control over the power tool.
❏Do not carry the power tool at your side while
the motor is running. Accidental contact with
the rotating polishing accessory could cause it
to snag your clothing, pulling the accessory into
your body.
Causes of kick-back and precautionary meas-
ures for the operator.
– Kickback is a sudden reaction of the power tool
to a pinched or snagged polishing accessory,
sanding plate, brush or other accessory.
– Pinching or snagging causes a rapid stalling of
the rotating polishing accessory, which in turn
causes the uncontrolled power tool to be forced
in the direction opposite to the polishing acces-
sory’s rotation at the point of the binding.
– The polishing accessory may either jump
towards or away from the operator, depending
on the direction of the wheel’s rotation at the
point of pinching and can possible also break.
– Kickback is the result of power tool misuse and/
or incorrect operating procedures or conditions
and can be avoided by taking the proper pre-
cautions listed below.
❏Hold the power tool firmly and position your
body and arms optimally to withstand any
kickback forces. Always use the original aux-
iliary handle so that kickback forces or the
starting torque can be mastered in the best
possible way. The operator can master the
starting torque and kickback forces if suitable
precautionary measures are taken.
❏Never place your hand near the rotating pol-
ishing accessory. The polishing accessory may
kick back over your hand.
❏Do not position your body in the area where
the power tool will move if kickback occurs.
Kickback will propel the power tool in the direc-
tion opposite to the polishing accessory’s move-
ment at the point of snagging.
❏Take special care when machining corners,
sharp edges, etc. Prevent the polishing acces-
sory from bouncing off or tilting. Corners,
sharp edges or bouncing have a tendency to
snag the rotating polishing accessory and
cause loss of control or kickback.
❏Do not attach a saw chain, wood-carving
blade or circular saw blade. Blades of this kind
cause frequent kickback or loss of control over
the power tool.
Safety instructions, particularly for sanding work
with a sanding disc.
❏When sanding, do not use an excessively
oversized sanding disc. Follow the manufac-
turer’s recommendations when selecting
sanding discs. Sanding discs larger than the
backing pad present a laceration hazard; they
can tear, cause snagging, rip off from the back-
ing pad or cause kickback.
❏Use only original Würth parts and accesso-
ries.

Intended Use
This power tool is intended as a hand-guided pol-
isher for commercial use, for polishing jobs with suit-
able polishing agents in weather-protected environ-
ments using the application tools and accessories
recommended by Würth.
The user is responsible for damage caused by usage
other then intended.
This machine is also intended to be powered by a.c.
generators with sufficient power output that corre-
spond with ISO 8528, design class G2. Compliance
with this Standard in particular is not given when the
so-called distortion factor exceeds 10%. When in
doubt, inform yourself about the generator in use.
Mounting the gear housing
cover
Attach the gear housing cover onto the gear
head and tighten with the two screws.
Mounting the auxiliary
handle
Screw the auxiliary handle tightly onto the left
or right side of the power tool, depending on
the working method. For this, remove the
respective screw of the gear housing cover.
Changing the tool
Only press the locking button 2 when the
motor is not running.
Press the locking button 2 and keep it pressed
down.
Change the used polishing accessory or insert
a new one.
Press the locking button 2 and keep it pressed down.
Screw the polishing accessory tight.
Securing the work piece
Secure the workpiece adequately. A work-
piece that is not properly secured can, for
example, cause the polishing accessory to jam
and kick back, fall and cause other hazards.
Initial Operation
Always use the correct supply voltage: The power
supply voltage must match the information quoted
on the tool identification plate.
First check that the mains supply lead and
mains plug are not damaged.
Starting
After plugging in the mains plug, the angle polisher
can be started in any working position by subse-
quent actuation of switchpad 4/6 and push but-
ton 3:
Hold the angle polisher in the desired working
position either at the rear (START A) or
front (START B), lightly pushing and holding at least
one of the 4 switchpads.

Note: The polishing accessory begins to move with
short, low-power impulses. The angle polisher thus
signals the actuation of the first switchpad.
Briefly press the push button 3 on the gear
head.
The angle polisher starts gently and reaches its
lowest speed after a short time.
Notes: The angle polisher does not start:
– when switchpad 4/6 and push button 3 are
pressed at the same time
– if one or more of the pressing surfaces is/are
pressed while the mains plug is inserted
Setting the speed
The speed can be controlled infinitely variable while
the angle polisher is running.
To increase the speed:
– Briefly press the switchpad 4.
Reducing the speed:
– Briefly press the switchpad 6.
The speed set is shown by the symbols on the speed
display 5:
Note: The power tool starts with the lowest speed at
each starting procedure.
The self-start prevention lock prevents the angle
polisher from starting again on its own accord if the
current supply has been interrupted during opera-
tion, e. g. by pulling out the mains plug.

Polishing
Press the power tool on evenly and move it
over the surface.
Do not strain the power tool!

Stopping
Press push button 3. The polishing accessory starts to
run down.
Maintenance and Cleaning
❏Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
Carry out the following steps once a week, or more
often if used frequently:
Clean the cooling air vents.
Use non-metallic tools to clean the air vents.
Blow out the interior of the power tool from
outside through the air vents with dry, com-
pressed air.
Repairs may only be carried out by qualified
electricians in conformity with the valid regula-
tions.
Please always hand this Instruction Manual to
the those carrying out the repair.
If the supply cord of this power tool is dam-
aged it must be replaced by a specially pre-
pared cord available through the Würth customer
service centre.
If the machine should fail despite the care taken in
manufacturing and testing, repair should be carried
out by a Würth Master-Service agent.

Èpossibile lavorare con l’elettrouten-
sile senza incorrere in pericoli soltanto
dopo aver letto completamente le istru-
zioni per l’uso e l’opuscolo avvertenze
per la sicurezza e seguendo rigorosa-
mente le istruzioni in essi contenute.
Attenersi inoltre rigorosamente alle
indicazioni di sicurezza generali che si
trovano nel manuale allegato.
Se durante un’operazione di lavoro
viene danneggiato oppure troncato il
cavo dell’alimentazione di rete, non
toccare il cavo ma estrarre immedia-
tamente la spina dalla presa. Mai uti-
lizzare la macchina con un cavo dan-
neggiato.
Indossare occhiali, cuffie e scarpe di
protezione.
Norme speciali di sicurezza
❏Si sconsiglia di eseguire con questo elettrouten-
sile lavori come la sgrossatura oppure la tronca-
tura. Eseguendo lavori non espressamente previsti
per questo elettroutensile vi è il pericolo di creare
situazioni pericolose che possono comportare il
verificarsi di incidenti.
❏Èvietato applicare targhette e marchi sull’elet-
troutensile avvitandoli oppure fissandoli tramite
rivetti. In caso di danno dell’isolamento viene a
mancare ogni protezione contro scosse elettriche.
Utilizzare targhette autoadesive.
❏Utilizzare l’equipaggiamento di protezione. A
seconda dell’applicazione in corso utilizzare la
protezione del viso oppure gli occhiali di sicu-
rezza. Se il caso, utilizzare la mascherina anti-
polvere, le cuffie di protezione, i guanti di prote-
zione ed il grembiule da lavoro adatti a proteg-
gere l’operatore da particelle prodotte dall’
accessorio di lucidatura e dal pezzo in lavora-
zione. Gli occhiali di protezione devono essere
adatti a proteggere da particelle che nel corso di
diversi tipi di lavorazione possono essere proiet-
tate in aria. La maschera antipolvere oppure
maschera respiratoria deve essere in grado di fil-
trare le particelle prodotte nel corso dei lavori in
atto. Un carico acustico costantemente alto può
comportare la perdita dell’udito.
❏Il numero di giri nominale dell’accessorio di luci-
datura deve essere almeno uguale alla velocità
massima di rotazione indicata sull’elettrouten-
sile. Utensili accessori di lucidatura che girino oltre
il numero di giri ammesso possono rompersi.
❏Non utilizzare nessun tipo di accessorio che non
sia stato appositamente sviluppato oppure espli-
citamente approvato dalla casa costruttrice
dell’elettroutensile. Un funzionamento sicuro non
è assicurato dal semplice fatto che le misure di un
accessorio combacino con il Vostro elettroutensile.
❏Non utilizzare nessun tipo di accessorio che
richieda prodotti refrigeranti liquidi. L’uso di
acqua e di altri liquidi refrigeranti può comportare
pericoli mortali oppure provocare incidenti dovuti
a scossa di corrente elettrica.
❏Il diametro esterno e lo spessore dell’accessorio
di lucidatura devono corrispondere ai dati delle
dimensioni dell’elettroutensile in dotazione.
Utensili accessori di lucidatura con una misura
sbagliata non possono essere fissati od utilizzati
secondi i requisiti di sicurezza.
❏I fori dell’accessorio di lucidatura, della flangia,
del platorello e di ogni altro accessorio devono
essere perfettamente adatti all’alberino dell’elet-
troutensile. Accessori di lucidatura con fori che
non siano compatibili all’alberino dell’elettrouten-
sile funzionano con squilibrio e vibrano eccessiva-
mente. In questo modo si crea il pericolo di per-
dere il controllo sull’elettroutensile.
❏Non utilizzare mai accessori di lucidatura dan-
neggiati. Prima di ogni utilizzo accertarsi che non
vi siano scheggiature ed incrinature negli acces-
sori come platorelli, dischi di lucidatura, tamponi
in spugna, spazzole metalliche, che non vi siano
incrinature, crepature oppure forte usura nei di-
schi di lucidatura e che non vi siano fili metallici
allentati o rotti nelle spazzole metalliche. Nel
caso in cui l’elettroutensile o l’accessorio di puli-
tura dovesse cadere per terra, accertarsi che esso
non abbia subito danni oppure montare un ac-
cessorio di lucidatura nuovo. Dopo un accurato
controllo ed il montaggio dell’accessorio di luci-
datura, assicurarsi che néla propria persona né
altre persone vicine si trovino entro il raggio del-
la superficie di rotazione dell’accessorio di luci-
datura e far funzionare l’elettroutensile per un
minuto al massimo numero di giri a vuoto. Nel
corso di una tale prova normalmente gli accessori
di lucidatura difettosi si rompono
❏Assicurarsi che l’accessorio di lucidatura sia stato
montato secondo le istruzioni della casa costrut-
trice. Quando èmontato, accessorio di lucidatura
deve poter ruotare liberamente. In caso di utensili
accessori di pulitura non montati correttamente vi
è il pericolo che possano sbloccarsi ed essere pro-
iettati in aria nel corso dell’operazione di lavoro.
❏Lavorare sempre con l’impugnatura supplemen-
tare oppure la cuffia di protezione della testa.
L’impugnatura supplementare oppure la cuffia di
protezione della testa garantiscono un utilizzo af-
fidabile dell’elettroutensile.

❏Pulire regolarmente le fessure di ventilazione
dell’elettroutensile. Il ventilatore del motore aspira
polvere nella carcassa. In caso di eccessivo accu-
mulo di polvere di metallo possono subentrare
situazioni pericolose di origine elettrica.
❏Allontanare dalla zona di lavorazione le persone
che si trovano nelle vicinanze. Ogni persona che
entra nella zona di lavorazione deve indossare
un abbigliamento protettivo personale. Particelle
del pezzo in lavorazione oppure di pezzi rotti
degli utensili accessori di lucidatura possono
essere proiettati in aria provocando incidenti
anche al di fuori della zona di lavorazione.
❏Allontanare il cavo elettrico di connessione
dall’accessorio di lucidatura in rotazione. Se si
perde il controllo sull’elettroutensile vi è il pericolo
di troncare o di colpire il cavo elettrico e la Vostra
mano o braccio può arrivare a toccare l’accesso-
rio di lucidatura in rotazione.
❏Non posare mai sul banco di lavorazione l’elet-
troutensile prima che l’accessorio di lucidatura si
saràfermato completamente. L’accessorio di luci-
datura può entrare in contatto con la superficie di
appoggio facendoVi perdere il controllo sull’elet-
troutensile.
❏Non trasportare l’elettroutensile quando il
motore èin moto. Toccando accidentalmente i
Vostri vestiti, l’accessorio di lucidatura in rota-
zione potrebbe agganciarsi ed essere proiettato
sul Vostro corpo.
Possibili cause per un contraccolpo e misure di sicu-
rezza per l’operatore.
– Il contraccolpo è l’improvvisa reazione dell’elet-
troutensile ad un accessorio di lucidatura, plato-
rello, spazzola oppure altro utensile accessorio
rimasto bloccato oppure agganciato.
– In caso di blocco o di aggancio, l’accessorio di
lucidatura in rotazione può bloccarsi all’improv-
viso costringendo in questo modo l’elettroutensile
finito fuori controllo ad un movimento contrario a
quello di rotazione che si sviluppa dal punto di
presa dell’accessorio di lucidatura.
– A seconda della direzione di rotazione, l’accesso-
rio di lucidatura può uscire dal perno di fissaggio
verso l’operatore o nella direzione opposta a
quella dell’operatore e può eventualmente anche
rompersi.
– Il contraccolpo è il risultato di un impiego inappro-
priato dell’elettroutensile e/o di un errore opera-
tivo o condizioni d’uso inadatte. Ciò può essere
evitato prendendo opportune misure di sicurezza
che vengono qui di seguito riportate.
❏Afferrare bene l’elettroutensile e tenere il corpo e
le braccia in una posizione che sia adatta a con-
trastare eventuali contraccolpi. Il modo migliore
per poter far fronte ai contraccolpi oppure al
momento di avviamento èquello di utilizzare
sempre l’impugnatura supplementare originale o
la cuffia di protezione della testa. L’operatore
può far fronte al momento di avviamento ed alle
forze di contraccolpi prendendo opportune misure
di sicurezza.
❏Mai avvicinare le Vostre mani in prossimità
dell’accessorio di lucidatura in rotazione. Mentre
rimbalza all’indietro, l’utensile accessorio di puli-
tura potrebbe scontrare la Vostra mano.
❏Evitare la zona in cui l’elettroutensile arriveràa
trovarsi in caso di un contraccolpo. Il contrac-
colpo proieterrà l’elettroutensile dal punto di bloc-
caggio nella direzione opposta al senso di rota-
zione dell’accessorio di lucidatura.
❏Operare con particolare attenzione in caso di
lavorazione di spigoli, spigoli taglienti ecc. Evi-
tare che l’accessorio di lucidatura rimbalzi dal
pezzo in lavorazione o prenda un’angolazione
impropria. L’ accessorio di lucidatura in rotazione
ha la tendenza a bloccarsi in bordi, in spigoli
taglienti oppure quando rimbalza. In questo modo
vi è il pericolo di perdere il controllo oppure vi è la
possibilità che si abbia un contraccolpo.
❏Non montare néseghe a catena, néguide per
tagli circolari nel legno, nélame per sega univer-
sale. Questo tipo di utensili ad innesto provocano
spesso un contraccolpo oppure la perdita del con-
trollo sull’elettroutensile.
Indicazioni di sicurezza specificatamente previste
per lavori di levigatura con foglio abrasivo.
❏Nel corso di lavori di levigatura non utilizzare
mai fogli abrasivi troppo grandi. Per la selezione
dei fogli abrasivi attenersi alle indicazioni della
casa costruttrice. Fogli abrasivi che sporgono dal
platorello comportano il rischio di incidenti, pos-
sono lacerarsi, rimanere impigliati, strapparsi dal
platorello oppure provocare un contraccolpo.

Uso conforme alle norme
Questo elettroutensile è una lucidatrice manuale
prevista per l’uso professionale per l’esecuzione di
lavori di lucidatura eseguiti in ambienti non esposti
agli agenti atmosferici ed utilizzando prodotti adatti
di lucidatura in combinazione con utensili specifici
ed accessori esplicitamente indicati dalla Würth.
Per danni provocati da uso non conforme alle
norme, risponde esclusivamente l’Utente.
Questo elettroutensile è previsto anche per l’utilizzo
in combinazione con generatori a corrente alternata
dotati di potenza sufficiente e conformi alla Norma
ISO 8528, classe di esecuzione G2. La conformità a
tale norma viene a decadere in modo particolare
quando il cosiddetto fattore di distorsione dovesse
superare il 10%. In caso di dubbio, informarsi sul
generatore in dotazione.
Montaggio della cuffia di
protezione della testa
Applicare il coperchio sulla testa ingranaggi
ed avvitarla bene con le 2 viti.
Montaggio
dell’impugnatura
supplementare
A seconda delle esigenze operative, avvitare
bene l’impugnatura supplementare sul lato
destro oppure sinistro dell’elettroutensile. A tal
fine rilasciare la vite della cuffia di protezione
della testa.
Cambio degli utensili
Premere il pulsante di arresto 2 esclusivamente
quando il motore è fermo.
Premere il pulsante di arresto 2 e tenerlo pre-
muto.
Sostituire l’accessorio di lucidatura diventato
inservibile oppure applicarne uno nuovo.
Premere il pulsante di arresto 2 e tenerlo premuto.
Avvitare bene l’accessorio di lucidatura.
Bloccaggio sicuro del pezzo in
lavorazione
Bloccare con sufficiente sicurezza il pezzo in
lavorazione. Un pezzo in lavorazione non
bloccato con sufficiente sicurezza può provocare
per es. un blocco dell’accessorio di lucidatura ed un
contraccolpo, la caduta del pezzo in lavorazione ed
altri tipi di situazioni pericolose.
Messa in funzione
Osservare la tensione di rete: La tensione della rete
deve corrispondere a quella indicata sulla targhetta
della macchina.
Controllare prima se vi dovessero essere
difetti alla linea di allacciamento alla rete o
alla spina di rete.
Avviamento
Una volta inserita la spina di collegamento alla rete
è possibile avviare la lucidatrice angolare da qua-
lunque posizione attivando con due successive pres-
sioni dei tasti 4/6 ed il pulsante 3:
Nella posizione operativa richiesta, afferrare
la lucidatrice angolare o nella parte poste-
riore (START A) oppure in quella ante-
riore (START B) premendo leggermente almeno uno
dei 4 tasti e tenendoli premuti.

Nota bene: L’accessorio di lucidatura inizia a muo-
versi con impulsi brevi e di bassa potenza. In questo
modo la lucidatrice angolare segnala che il primo
tasto è stato attivato.
Premere brevemente il pulsante 3 sulla testa
ingranaggi.
La lucidatrice angolare si avvia dolcemente e
dopo breve tempo raggiunge la velocità ope-
rativa minima.
Avvertenze: La lucidatrice angolare non si avvia:
– quando i tasti 4/6 ed il pulsante 3 vengono pre-
muti contemporaneamente
– quando una o diverse superfici di contatto sono
premute mentre si inserisce la spina di rete
Impostazione del numero di giri
Quando la lucidatrice angolare è in funzione è pos-
sibile modificare gradualmente la velocità di rota-
zione.
Aumento della velocità:
– Premere brevemente i tasti 4.
Riduzione della velocità di rotazione:
– Premere brevemente i tasti 6.
Il numero di giri regolato viene indicato con un sim-
bolo sulla visualizzazione del numero di giri 5:
Nota bene: In ogni operazione di avvio l’elettrou-
tensile si mette in moto sempre alla velocità più
bassa.
Il blocco di avviamento automatico impedisce che
la lucidatrice angolare possa riaccendersi automati-
camente quando per esempio durante l’esercizio vi
dovesse essere stata un’interruzione anche breve
della corrente per es. estraendo la spina di collega-
mento alla rete.
Allontanare il cavo della linea di allaccia-
mento alla rete dall’accessorio di lucidatura
in rotazione. Se si perde il controllo sull’elettrouten-
sile vi è il pericolo di troncare o di colpire il cavo di
allacciamento alla rete e la Vostra mano o braccio
può arrivare a scontrare l’accessorio di lucidatura in
rotazione.
Lucidatura
Esercitare una pressione uniforme sull’elet-
troutensile e spostarlo sulla superficie.
Non sottoporre l’elettroutensile a sovraccarico!
Evitare un surriscaldamento della superficie
del pezzo in lavorazione.
Arresto
Premere il pulsante 3. L’accessorio di lucidatura ini-
zia a fermarsi gradatamente.
Cura e manutenzione
❏Prima di qualunque intervento alla macchina,
estrarre la spina dalla presa di rete.
Eseguire le seguenti operazioni settimanalmente,
piùspesso in caso di utilizzo frequente:
Pulire le feritoie per l’aria di raffreddamento.
Per le operazioni di pulizia delle fessure di
ventilazione utilizzare utensili non metallici.
Dall’esterno soffiare con aria compressa
asciutta l’interno dell’elettroutensile attraverso
le fessure di ventilazione.
Ogni intervento di manutenzione correttiva
può essere eseguita esclusivamente da perso-
nale elettrotecnico specializzato ed operante
secondo le vigenti leggi e normative.
Consegnare questo libretto delle Istruzioni per
l’uso sempre al personale incaricato della
manutenzione correttiva.
Se la conduttura d’allacciamento dell’elettrou-
tensile è difettosa, deve essere sostituita attra-
verso una speciale conduttura d’allacciamento già
appositamente predisposta e disponibile presso il
Centro di Assistenza Clienti Würth.
Se nonostante gli accurati procedimenti di produ-
zione e di controllo la macchina dovesse guastarsi,
la riparazione va fatta effettuare da un punto di as-
sistenza Würth master-Service autorizzato.
Per ogni tipo di richiesta o di ordinazione di pezzi
di ricambio, è indispensabile comunicare sempre il
codice articolo riportato sulla targhetta di fabbrica-
zione della macchina.
L’attuale distinta dei pezzi di ricambio di questa
macchina può essere consultata nel sito Internet
«http://www.wuerth.com/partsmanager» oppure
è possibile richiederla presso la più vicina filiale
Würth.

Smaltimento
Avviare ad un riciclaggio rispettoso dell’ambiente
gli imballaggi, gli elettroutensili e gli accessori
dismessi.

Non gettare elettroutensili dismessi
tra i rifiuti domestici!
Conformemente alla norma della
direttiva CE 2002/96 sui rifiuti di
apparecchiature elettriche ed elettro-
niche (RAEE) ed all’attuazione del recepimento nel
diritto nazionale, gli elettroutensili diventati inservi-
bili devono essere raccolti separatamente ed essere
inviati ad una riutilizzazione ecologica.
Garanzia legale
Per questo prodotto Würth, la garanzia è conforme
alle disposizioni di legge vigenti nei singoli Paesi, a
partire dalla data di acquisto (faranno fede la fat-
tura o la bolla di consegna). I difetti subentrati ven-
gono eliminati attraverso una fornitura di ricambio
oppure provvedendo alle dovute riparazioni.
Si esclude ogni prestazione di garanzia in caso di
danni dovuti a normale usura, a sovraccarico,
oppure a trattamento ed impiego inappropriato.
Si accettano reclami soltanto se il prodotto viene
rimandato indietro non smontato ad una delle sedi
Würth oppure al Responsabile di zona per il Servi-
