Congratulations to the purchase of this Max product. Please read this manual thoroughly prior to using the product in order to
benefit fully from all features.
Read the manual prior to using the product. Follow the instructions in order not to invalidate the warranty. Take all precautions
to avoid fire and/or electrical shock. Repairs must only be carried out by a qualified technician in order to avoid electrical shock.
Keep the manual for future reference.
For your own safety and to extend the life of the product, please follow these important guidelines:
▪For indoor use only. Only use the 220-240VAC, 50Hz only power supply.
▪Keep out of reach of children and pets.
▪Do not place the product on surfaces that are unstable or subject to vibration.
▪Do not open the base of product. Do not attempt to remove glass sphere.
▪Do not use in the bathroom or expose the unit to moisture. Do not immerse in water. Do not pull the plug out from the
power outlet with wet hands. Do not handle the globe with wet hands. If water or any other liquid is spilled on the
plasma globe, switch it off immediately.
▪Do not expose the plasma ball to high temperatures, high humidity, or direct sunlight. Keep the globe in a well-
ventilated area and do not leave it on for extended periods of time.
▪Do not expose the plasma ball to dust, smoke or steam.
▪Keep away from metal surfaces. Do not touch the glass with metal objects. Remove any rings or other metallic
jewellery from your hands before handling. Touching the globe with a metal object can cause an electrical arc to form
at the glass surface, which can lead to small skin burns and potentially a fire hazard.
▪Do not touch any grounded metal while your hand is on the energized plasma ball. If you do, you will get a vey startling
and unpleasant shock of static electricity.
▪Before cleaning, turn the selector switch off and disconnect the transformer. Clean the unit with a soft cloth. Do not
use solvents or other chemicals, and abrasive cleaners to clean the product.
▪If the unit is dropped, causing obvious damage, or is functioning in abnormal manner, producing unusual sounds or
smell, or becomes too hot, unplug and discontinue use immediately. Do not attempt to repair it yourself.
▪The glass ball is very fragile. Switch off when not in use and store away safely to avoid the glass from being exposed
to potential breakage hazards.
▪If you have more than one plasma globe, keep them at a safe distance of at least 3 feet from each other.
▪USB cable devices should not be operated near an energized plasma ball. Touching an energized plasma globe and a
USB cable at the same time may cause damage to the device connected to the USB cable.
▪If the external flexible cable or cord of this fitting is damaged, it shall be exclusively replaced by the manufacturer or a
suitably qualified person, in order to avoid a hazard.

NOTE: To make sure that the unit will function normally, it must be used in rooms with a temperature between 5°C/41°F and
35°C/95°F.
Electric products must not be put into household waste. Please bring them to a recycling centre. Ask your local authorities or your
dealer about the way to proceed. The specifications are typical. The actual values can slightly change from one unit to the other.
Specifications can be changed without prior notice.
Do not attempt to make any repairs yourself. This would invalid your warranty. Do not make any changes to the product. This would also

UNPACKING INSTRUCTION
CAUTION! Immediately upon receiving the product, carefully unpack the carton, check the contents to ensure that all parts are
present, and have been received in good condition. Notify the shipper immediately and retain packing material for inspection if
any parts appear damage from shipping or the package itself shows signs of mishandling. Save the package and all packing
materials. In the event that the product must be returned to the factory, it is important that the product be returned in the original
factory box and packing.
If the device has been exposed to drastic temperature fluctuation (e.g. after transportation), do not switch it on immediately. The
arising condensation water might damage your device. Leave the device switched off until it has reached room temperature.
POWERSUPPLY
On the label on the backside of the product is indicated on this type of power supply must be connected. Check that the mains
voltage corresponds to this, all other voltages than specified, the light effect can be irreparably damaged. The product must also
be directly connected to the mains and may be used. No dimmer or adjustable power supply.
Always connect the device to a protected circuit (circuit breaker or fuse). Make sure the device has an appropriate
electrical ground to avoid the risk of electrocution or fire.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Place the lamp on a flat surface and make sure that there are no flammable materials near the lamp.
Connect the plug of the adapter to the plasma bulb and then plug the adapter into a wall socket.
The selector switch has 3 positions: OFF / AUDIO / ON
The plasma ball contains a gas mixture. When the switch is set to "ON", the product base produces high-frequency
electromagnetic waves, which transform the gases into plasma - an ionised or electrically charged gas.
The ions produced emit energy that appears as coloured light filaments. The plasma ball reacts to your touch, with the light
beams following your fingers when you touch the ball. You may feel a slight tingling sensation when your hand comes close to
the glass and touches it. This is caused by the vibrations on the glass ball when the electrons hit the surface of the ball.

Hartelijk dank voor de aanschaf van dit Max product. Neemt u a.u.b. een paar momenten de tijd om deze handleiding zorgvuldig te
lezen, aangezien wij graag willen dat u onze producten snel en volledig gebruikt.
Lees deze handleiding eerst door alvorens het product te gebruiken. Volg de instructies op anders zou de garantie weleens kunnen
vervallen. Neem ook altijd alle veiligheidsmaatregelen om brand en/of een elektrische schok te voorkomen. Tevens is het ook
raadzaam om reparaties/ modificaties e.d. over te laten aan gekwalificeerd personeel om een elektrische schok te voorkomen. Bewaar
deze handleiding ook voor toekomstig gebruik.
Voor uw eigen veiligheid en om de levensduur van het product te verlengen, gelieve deze belangrijke richtlijnen op te volgen:
▪Alleen voor gebruik binnenshuis. Gebruik alleen de 220-240VAC, 50Hz stroomvoorziening.
▪Buiten bereik van kinderen en huisdieren houden.
▪Plaats het product niet op oppervlakken die onstabiel zijn of aan trillingen onderhevig zijn.
▪De onderkant van het product niet openen. Probeer de glazen bol niet te verwijderen.
▪Niet gebruiken in de badkamer of de eenheid blootstellen aan vocht. Niet onderdompelen in water. Niet met natte
handen de stekker uit het stopcontact trekken. De glazen bol niet met natte handen aanraken. Als er water of een
andere vloeistof op de plasmabol wordt gemorst, dient u de plasmabol onmiddellijk uit te schakelen.
▪Stel de plasmabol niet bloot aan hoge temperaturen, hoge vochtigheid of direct zonlicht. Bewaar de bol in een goed
geventileerde ruimte en laat hem niet gedurende langere tijd aan staan.
▪Stel de plasmabol niet bloot aan stof, rook of stoom.
▪Blijf uit de buurt van metalen oppervlakken. Raak het glas niet aan met metalen voorwerpen. Verwijder eventuele
ringen of andere metalen sieraden van uw handen voordat u de plasmabol aanraakt. Als u de bol met een metalen
voorwerp aanraakt, kan er een vlamboog ontstaan op het glasoppervlak, wat kan leiden tot kleine brandwonden en
mogelijk tot brandgevaar.
▪Raak geen geaard metaal aan terwijl uw hand op de onder spanning staande plasmabol ligt. Doet u dit toch, dan krijgt
u een zeer schokkende en onaangename schok van statische elektriciteit.
▪Zet de keuzeschakelaar uit en koppel de transformator los voordat u het apparaat schoonmaakt. Reinig het apparaat
met een zachte doek. Gebruik geen oplosmiddelen of andere chemicaliën, of schurende reinigingsmiddelen om het
product schoon te maken.
▪Als de unit is gevallen, wat duidelijke schade veroorzaakt, of abnormaal functioneert, ongewone geluiden of geuren
produceert, of te heet wordt, trek dan onmiddellijk de stekker uit het stopcontact en stop met het gebruik ervan.
Probeer het niet zelf te repareren.
▪De glazen bol is zeer breekbaar. Schakel het apparaat uit wanneer het niet wordt gebruikt en berg het veilig op om te
voorkomen dat het glas wordt blootgesteld aan mogelijke breukgevaren.
▪Als u meer dan één plasmabol hebt, houd ze dan op een veilige afstand van ten minste 2 meter van elkaar.
▪USB-kabelapparaten mogen niet worden gebruikt in de buurt van een plasmabol die onder spanning staat. Het
tegelijkertijd aanraken van een onder spanning staande plasmabol en een USB-kabel kan schade veroorzaken aan het
apparaat dat op de USB-kabel is aangesloten.
▪Als de externe flexibele kabel of het snoer van dit armatuur beschadigd is, moet het uitsluitend worden vervangen door
de fabrikant of een voldoende gekwalificeerd persoon, om gevaar te voorkomen.
Deze markering wordt weergegeven om u erop attent te maken dat een levensgevaarlijke spanning in het product aanwezig is en dat bij
aanraking van deze delen een elektrische schok wordt verkregen.
Deze instructiemarkering wordt weergegeven om u erop te wijzen dat de instructie zeer belangrijk is om te lezen en/of op te volgen.
KIJK NOOIT DIRECT IN DE LENS. Dit kan uw ogen beschadigen. Daarnaast dienen epileptici rekening te houden met de effecten die
dit toestel creëert. Dit apparaat is CE goedgekeurd; er mogen geen veranderingen modificaties worden doorgevoerd; deze kunnen de
CE-status te niet doen met alle gevolgen van dien. Tevens vervalt de garantie!
OPMERKING: Om zeker te zijn van een correcte werking, dient u dit apparaat in een ruimte te gebruiken waar de temperatuur tussen de
5°C/41°F en 35°C/95°F ligt.
Raadpleeg eventueel www.wecycle.nl en/of www.vrom.nl v.w.b. het afdanken van elektronische apparaten in het kader van de
WEEE-regeling. Vele artikelen kunnen worden gerecycled, gooi ze daarom niet bij het huisvuil maar lever ze in bij een gemeentelijk
depot of uw dealer. Lever ook afgedankte batterijen in bij uw gemeentelijk depot of bij de dealer, zie www.stibat.nl
Alle (defecte) artikelen dienen gedurende de garantieperiode altijd retour te worden gezonden in de originele verpakking. Voer zelf geen reparaties uit aan het
apparaat; in élk geval vervalt de totale garantie. Ook mag het apparaat niet eigenmachtig worden gemodificeerd, ook in dit geval vervalt de totale garantie. Ook
vervalt de garantie bij ongevallen en beschadigingen in élke vorm t.g.v. onoordeelkundig gebruik en het niet in achtnemen van het gestelde in deze
gebruiksaanwijzing. Tevens aanvaardt Max geen enkele aansprakelijkheid in geval van persoonlijke ongelukken als gevolg van het niet naleven van
veiligheidsinstructies en waarschuwingen. Dit geldt ook voor gevolgschade in wélke vorm dan ook.

UITPAKKEN
LET OP! Onmiddellijk na ontvangst, zorgvuldig uitpakken van de doos, controleer de inhoud om ervoor te zorgen dat alle
onderdelen aanwezig zijn en zijn in goede staat zijn ontvangen. Bij transportschade of ontbreken van onderdelen onmiddellijk
de verkopende partij inlichten. Bewaar de verpakking en het verpakkingsmateriaal. Indien het product moet worden
teruggestuurd, is het belangrijk dat het product in originele verpakking wordt geretourneerd.
Als het apparaat is blootgesteld aan drastische temperatuurverschillen (bv. na het transport), schakel het apparaat niet
onmiddellijk in. De ontstane condensatie kan het apparaat beschadigen. Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat op kamertemperatuur
komt en steek vervolgens de voeding stekker in het stopcontact/wandcontactdoos.
AANSLUITSPANNING
Op het label aan de achterzijde van het product staat aangegeven op welke netspanning deze moet worden aangesloten.
Controleer of de netspanning hiermee overeenkomt, bij alle andere netspanningen dan aangegeven kan het apparaat
onherstelbaar worden beschadigd. Tevens moet het apparaat direct op de netspanning worden aangesloten en mag géén
dimmer of regelbare voeding worden gebruikt.
Sluit het apparaat altijd aan op een beschermd circuit (aardlekschakelaar of zekering). Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat
voldoende elektrisch is geaard om het risico op elektrocutie of brand te vermijden.
BEDIENINGSINSTRUCTIES
Plaats de lamp op een vlakke ondergrond en zorg ervoor dat er zich geen brandbare materialen in de buurt van de lamp
bevinden.
Sluit de stekker van de adapter aan op de plasmabol en steek vervolgens de adapter in een wandcontactdoos.
De keuzeschakelaar heeft 3 standen: UIT / AUDIO / AAN
De plasmabal bevat een gasmengsel. Wanneer de schakelaar op "ON" staat, produceert de productbasis hoogfrequente
elektromagnetische golven, waardoor de gassen veranderen in plasma - een geïoniseerd of elektrisch geladen gas.
De geproduceerde ionen zenden energie uit die verschijnt als gekleurde lichtfilamenten. De plasmabal reageert op uw
aanraking, waarbij de lichtbundels uw vingers volgen wanneer u de bal aanraakt. U kunt een lichte tinteling voelen wanneer uw
hand in de buurt komt van het glas en het aanraakt. Dit wordt veroorzaakt door de trillingen op de glazen bol wanneer de
elektronen het oppervlak van de bol raken.
