A malfunctionInthe GOT main module, communrcatron module, bus connectron module,
communicationcable, and bus connectioncable may keep the output ON or OFF. Add a c~rcurtto
externally monrtor the outputwhrch could lead to a serious acc~dent
An accident mayoccur by a false output or a malfunctron.
If a communicationerror (includingby a drsconnected cable) occurs whrle the monitor is running
on the GOT, the communrcatron betweenthe GOT andthe PC CPU IS interrupted,and the GOT
stops running
When using the bus connection. PC CPU goes down and the GOT stops running.
When not using the bus connectlon:GOT
IS not operatronal.
--For a system configurationusing a GOT, designthe system suchthat the cruclal swrtchtngto the
system

Makesureto switch all phasesof the external GOT's power supply off before lnstalllngor removlng
the GOT marn moduletolfromthe base
Ifyou do notswitchoff the external power skpply, rt wrll causefallure or malfunctlonof the module.

Makesure to swltch all phases of the external GOT's power supply off before mountlngor removing
the power supply module,comm,unrcationmodule, bus connectlon module, optlonal module,
memorycassette, andmemory cardtolfrom the GOT mainmodule.
If you do not switch off the external power supply, itwill causefailure or malfunctronof the module.
Makesureto swltch all phases of the external GOT and PC CPU slde power supply off before
donnectrng the communic~tioncable and bus connectioncable to the communication module and
busconnectlonmodule.
If you do not switch off the external powersupply, itwill cause failure or malfunctlonof the module.

Usingthe GOT outsidethe rangeof the general

Tlghtenthe attachmentscrews for lnstalllngthe GOT main moduleto the base wlthin the rangeof
specifiedtorque.
If the attachmentscrews are loose, it may result Infallout, short circults, or malfunctions.
Tlghtenrngthe attachmentscrews too far maycausedamagesto the screwsandlor the module,
resulting infallout, short ctrcuits, or malfunctions.
When usinga bus connection, busconnectroncablesshould be securely connectedto the
connectorsof the GOT malnmodule busconnection niodule,busconnector conversionmodule,
andbase unit. After connectingthe connector,checkto makesure they are securely tightened and
not loose. Defectlvecontactcouldcause a false ~nputandoutput

When the power supply module,communicationmodule, bus connection module, andthe optional
moduleare installedto heGOT main-module,attachthemto the GOT attachment part by allgning
to the screw guide,then tighten'themodulefixed screws wlthln the rangeof specifiedtorque.
If the moduleflxed screws are loose, ~tmay result In fallout, short c-~rcuits,or malfunctions.
Tighteningthe moduleflxed screwstoo far may cause damages to the screws andlor'themodule,
. resulting infallout,short circults, or malfunctions.

Makesurethe memorycassette and memoGcardare Installedsecurely Intheir connector.After
connectrngthe connector, check to makesure they are securely tightened and not loose. Defective
contactkouldcause n;'alfunctions.
Turn offthe memoryaccess swltch when connectrngand drsconnectlng the memory card to the
GOT.

[WIRING PRECATIONS]
@DANGER
Beforewlrlngwork, makesure.all phasesof the power supply have been obstructed from the
outs~de.Failureto completelyshut off the power-supplyphases may cause electrical,shock
and/or damageto the module.
The FG and LG terminals shouldalways be grounded uslngthe class-3 or hlgher grounding
designed specially for the GOT. Failureto groundthese terminals may cause electric shock or
malfunctioning.
When wlrlng the GOT, check the rated voltage and terminal layout of the wlrlng, and make sure
the wiring is done-correctly.Connectinga power supply that differsfrom the.rated voltage or
wiring it
incorrectly may cause f~reor breakdown.
Tightenthe GOT termlnal screws wlth the specifledtorque. If the termlnal screws are loose, ~tmay
result Infallout short clrcu~ts,or malfunct~onln~.
If the termlnal screws are too tight, it may result Infallout short c~rcuitsor malfunctioning due to
damageof the screws or module.
Be carefulnotto let forelgn matter such as shleld's cuttingchlps or wire chlps get in side the GOT
mainmodule, powersupply module,communlcatlonmodule,busconnection moduleor optional
modulewhen wiring the GOT powersupply module.
