4. Hardware bag
The hardware bag should include:
1. 10 Screws (8 are used and 2 are extra)
2. 8 wood caps
Instructions:
1. Stand up one of the side pieces (left or right, doesn’t matter) on its side with the long
opening (handles) parallel to the ground.
2. Also, stand up the bench back piece (the larger of the rectangular pieces) with the
longest, thin side on the ground.
3. Bring the two pieces together and line up the holes of the side piece with the holes on
the side of the back piece. Important note: the bigger holes on the side piece go on
the outside of the bench.
4. Use a drill or screwdriver to fasten the side piece to the back piece using the predrilled
holes.
5. Next, lay the bench back on the ground with the widest part on the ground. This would
leave the attached side piece standing straight up and down.
6. Next, grab the bench seat (the smaller of the rectangular pieces) and line up the holes
on the side of the seat with the holes on the side piece that’s already attached to the
back piece.
7. Use a drill or screwdriver to fasten the seat to the side piece using the predrilled holes.
8. Lastly, grab the second side piece, the last piece that is not attached to the other three
pieces, and line up the predrilled holes with the other side of the seat piece.
9. Use a drill or screwdriver to fasten the second side piece to the seat piece.
10. Screw the second side piece to the back piece.
11. Make sure all of the screws are tightened.
12. Add a small dot of white or wood glue onto the small end of each wood cap and add
them one by one to cover the screw holes.
