and installation.
• Avoid open flames and sources of ignition and thoroughly ventilate the room in which the
appliance is situated

PARTS IDENTIFICATION
• Do not yank on the power cord. Instead, grip on the power plug to detach from the power
supply.
• Do not insert the power plug into the power supply if it is loose. There is a risk of electric
shock or fire.
• CAUTION: This appliance is heavy. Care should be taken when moving it.
• Do not remove nor touch items from the freezer compartment with damp/wet hands as
this could cause skin abrasions or frost/freezer burns.
• Do not expose the appliance to direct sunlight.

indicates that there are important operating and maintenance instructions to adhere

Tools required: hilips screwdriver, Flat bladed screwdriver, Hexagonal spanner.
• Ensure the unit is disconnected from the power supply and empty of contents.
• It is necessary to tilt the unit backwards to detach the door. Preferably rest the unit on a
solid object so that it will not slip during the door reversing process.
• All parts removed must be saved for the door reinstallation process later.
• Do not lay the unit flat as this may damage the coolant system.
• It is recommended that 2 people handle the unit during assembly and disassembly.

• Adjust the two levelling feet at the front of the appliance.
• If the appliance is not levelled, the doors and magnetic seals will not be covered properly.

INSTALLATION INSTALLATION
IMPORTANT!
• For electrical connection carefully follow the instructions given in specific paragraphs.
• Unpack the appliance and inspect for damage.
• Do not connect the appliance to the power supply if it is damaged in any way. Report
possible damages immediately to the place you purchased it and retain the packaging.
• It is advisable to wait at least eight hours before connecting the appliance to the power
supply to allow the oil to flow back into the compressor.
• Ensure adequate air circulation around the appliance. Inadequate air circulation can lead
to overheating.
• To achieve sufficient ventilation, follow the instructions relevant to installation.
• Wherever possible, the spacers of the appliance should be placed against a wall to avoid
touching or catching warm parts (compressor, condenser) to prevent possible burns.
• The appliance must not be located close to radiators or cookers.
• Ensure that the power plug is accessible after the installation of the appliance.
SERVICE
• Any electrical and/or servicing work should be performed only by a qualified electrician or
competent person.
• This product must be serviced by an authorized Service Center, and only genuine spare
parts must be used.
ENERGY SAVING
• Do not place hot food into the appliance.
• Do not pack food close together as this prevents air from circulating optimally.
• Ensure food does not touch the back of the compartment(s).
• Do not open or the doors ajar in the event of a power outage.
• Do not open the door frequently.
• Do not leave the doors ajar for too long.
• Do not set the thermostat to exceedingly cold temperatures.
• All accessories, such as drawers, shelves should be left inside for lower energy
consumption.
POSITIONING
Install this appliance at a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to
the climate class indicated on the appliance's rating plate.
For refrigerating appliances with climate class:
• Extended temperature: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient
temperatures ranging from 10°C to 32°C (SN).
• Temperature: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures
ranging from 16°C to 32°C (N).
• Subtropical: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures
ranging from 16°C to 38°C (ST).
• Tropical: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures
ranging from 16°C to 43°C (T).
LOCATION
The appliance should be installed away from heat sources such as radiators, boilers, direct
sunlight and so forth. Ensure that air can circulate freely around the back of the cabinet. To
ensure best performance, the minimum distance between the top of the cabinet and the wall
unit must be at least 50mm if the appliance is positioned below an overhanging wall unit.
Ideally, the appliance should not be positioned below overhanging wall units. accurate
levelling is ensured by one or more adjustable feet at the base of the cabinet.
Warning! It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the power supply by ensuring
the power plug is accessible at all times after installation.
This refrigerating appliance is not intended to be used as a built-in appliance.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Before connecting to the power supply, ensure that the voltage and frequency indicated on
the rating plate corresponds to your domestic power supply. This appliance must be earthed
by contact a qualified electrician for earthing connection.

FIRST USE DAILY USE
CLEANING THE INTERIOR
Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories
with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brand
new product, then dry thoroughly.
Important! Do not use detergents or abrasive cleansing agents, as these will damage the
finishing.
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
Power on the appliance. The internal temperature is controlled by a thermostat. There are
3 temperature settings:
• MIN, NORMAL and MAX.
• MIN is warmest setting and MAX is coldest setting.
The appliance may not operate at the correct temperature if it
is located in a particularly hot area or if the door is opened
frequently.
• Two-star frozen-food compartments (if present in the appliance) are suitable for storing
pre-frozen food, storing or making ice-cream and making ice cubes.
• One-, two- and three-star compartments (if present in the appliance) are not suitable for
freezing fresh foods.
• If the appliance is left empty for long durations, switch off, defrost, clean, dry and leave
the door open to prevent mould from growing within the appliance.
FREE ING FRESH FOOD
• The freezer compartment is suitable for freezing fresh food and storing frozen and deep-
frozen food for a long time.
• Place the fresh food to be frozen in the bottom compartment.
• The maximum amount of food that can be frozen in 24 hours is specified on the rating
plate.
• The freezing process lasts 24 hours. Do not add other food to be frozen during this period.
THAWING
• Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to be used, can be thawed in the fridge compartment or
at room temperature, depending on the time available for this operation.
• Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly from the freezer. However, cooking
will take longer.
ICE CUBES
• This appliance may be equipped with one or more trays for the production of ice cubes.
HELPFUL HINTS AND TIPS FOR FREE ING
Here are some helpful hints to make the most of the freezing process:
• The maximum quantity of food which can be frozen in 24 hours is shown on the rating
plate.
• The freezing process takes 24 hours. No further food should be added for freezing during
this period.
• Only freeze top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned, foodstuffs.
• Prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to
make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required.
• Wrap food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure they are airtight.
• Do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to contact with already frozen foods to avoid a rise in
temperature of the latter.
• Lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones as salt reduces the storage life of food.
• Iced water, if consumed immediately after removing from the freezer compartment, can
possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt.
• It is advisable to show the freeze-in date on each individual pack to keep tab of the
storage duration.
DAILY USE
SAFETY INFORMATION
• Do not put hot plastic parts into the appliance.
• Do not place food products directly against/on the rear wall.
• Frozen food must not be refrozen once it has been thawed out.
• Store pre-packed frozen food in accordance with the frozen food manufacturer's
instructions.
• Appliance manufacture's storage recommendations should be strictly adhered to. Refer
to relevant instructions.
• Do not place carbonated or fizzy drinks in the freezer compartment a it creates pressure
on the container, which may cause it to explode, resulting in damage to the appliance.
• Ice lollies may cause frost burns if consumed directly from the appliance.
• To avoid food contamination, please respect the following instructions
• Opening the door for long durations can cause a significant increase of the temperature
in the compartments of the appliance.
• Clean surfaces that come into contact with food and accessible drainage systems
regularly.
• Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 24 hours by flushing the water system
connected to a water supply if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
• Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, so that it is not in contact
with or drip onto other food.

DAILY USE CARE & CLEANING
STORING FRO EN FOOD
Allow the appliance to operate for at least 2 hours on the highest setting upon initial start-
up or after a period of non-operation before putting foods to be frozen into the compartment.
Important! In the event of accidental defrosting, for example the power has been off for
longer than the value shown in the technical characteristics chart under “rising time”,
defrosted food must be consumed or cooked immediately and then re-frozen (after
cooking).
IMPACT ON FOOD STORAGE
Best freezer storage time should not exceed 1 month under recommended setting. Best
freezer storage time may reduce when other settings are selected.

For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior accessories, should
be cleaned regularly.
• Before maintenance, switch off the appliance and disconnect the power plug from the
power supply.
• Remove foods from the freezer and store them in a cool, well-covered place.
• IMPORTANT! Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack plastic parts, such as lemon
juice or the juice from orange peel, butyric acid, or cleansers that contain acetic acid. Do
not allow such substances to come into contact the appliance parts.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaners.
• Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with a cloth and lukewarm water. Wipe
with water and allow to dry.
• Do not clean the appliance with metal objects.
• Do not use sharp objects to remove frost from the appliance. Use a plastic scraper
instead.
• Regularly examine the drain in the refrigerator for defrosted water. If necessary, clean the
drain.
• If the drain is obstructed, water will collect in the bottom of the appliance.
Note: Accumulation of dust at the condenser increases energy consumption. For this,
reason carefully clean the condenser at the back of the appliance once a year using a soft
brush or a vacuum cleaner.
DEFROSTING THE FREE ER
• The freezer compartment will become progressively covered with frost. This should be
removed.
• Never use sharp metal tools to scrape off frost from the evaporator as you could damage
it.
• However, when the ice becomes very thick on the inner liner, complete defrosting should
be carried out as follows:
– Power off and disconnect power plug from the power supply.
– Remove all stored food, wrap it in several layers of newspaper and put it in a cool place.
– eep the door open and place a basin beneath the appliance to collect the defrosted
water.
– When defrosting is completed, dry the interior thoroughly
– Connect power plug into the power supply to begin operating the appliance again.
