Atomist sprayer
De Atomist sprayer is voorzien van een plastic tank met een inhoud van 7,6 liter. Om de atomist te vullen moet eerst de
schroefring losgeklikt worden zodat de tank loskomt van de vernevelaar. De tank kan nu gevuld worden met de
gewenste hoeveelheid vloeistof (gebruik hiervoor bij voorkeur een schone trechter). Plaats de vernevelaar terug op de
tank, let hierbij op dat het aanzuigslangetje in de vloeistof hangt. Klik de schroefring weer vast. U kunt de atomist door
middel van de draagriem gemakkelijk om uw schouder hangen. Steek de stekker in het stopcontact en haak de
spuitmond los van het handvat. Richt de spuitmond in de gewenste richting en switch de schakelaar op stand “on”. Het
apparaat treedt nu in werking.
Let op: laat de sproeimond nooit aan het handvat gehaakt zitten! Hierdoor komt vloeistof in de motor van de atomist
terecht, waardoor corrosie in de motor optreedt.
Niets uit deze gebruiksaanwijzing mag worden overgenomen en/of openbaar worden gemaakt door middel van druk,
fotokopie, microfilm of op enig andere wijze zonder de uitdrukkelijke toestemming van Schippers Europe BV. Schippers

zoals vermeld in deze gebruiksaanwijzing.
1. Instellen van de verneveling
1. 1 Grove verneveling:
Wordt bereikt door de draaiknop aan de spuitmond naar links te draaien totdat het streepje op “high” staat. Deze
stand geeft een zeer vochtige verneveling.
1. 2 Fijne verneveling
Wordt bereikt door de draaiknop aan de spuitmond naar rechts te draaien totdat het streepje op “low” staat. Hiermee
wordt een fijne verneveling bereikt met een groot ruimtelijk volume (nodig voor de bestrijding van vliegende insecten).
De fijne stand geeft een verneveling van 5.7 tot 20 liter vloeistof per uur. De grove stand geeft een verneveling tussen
de 23 en 53 liter per uur. Het verbruik van de atomist hangt af van het gebruikte product, het vloeistofniveau in de tank
en de klimaatsomstandigheden.
2. Verspreiding van oplosbare poeders
Het apparaat is vervaardigd voor de verneveling van verschillende oplosbare poeders. Het is aan te raden om eerst een
kleine hoeveelheid van de oplossing in de tank te doen en te kijken of u het gewenste niveau bereikt. Om te voorkomen
dat u neerslag in de tank krijgt, is het noodzakelijk dat u tijdens het vernevelen de tank regelmatig schudt.
3. Eigenschappen van de verneveling
Bij een fijne verneveling bereikt de atomist een capaciteit van 95% bij een deeltjesgrootte van 22 micron. Daarmee
is het apparaat uitermate geschikt voor de behandeling van een grote ruimte.
Bij een grove verneveling bereikt de atomist een capaciteit van 95% bij een deeltjesgrootte van 46 micron.
Ter informatie : bij verneveling van enkel water op de fijne vernevelstand met de laagste capaciteit wordt de tank in
ongeveer 80 minuten volledig geledigd.
4. Overige toepassingen
De behandelingen van sierplanten verschilt van die van fruitbomen. Deze laatste moeten met veel grotere hoeveelheden
worden behandeld om werkelijk resultaat te verkrijgen. Evenwel is het echter niet nodig om de te behandelen planten
helemaal te ‘doorweken’ om een bevredigend resultaat te verkrijgen. Het apparaat is ontwikkeld om zoveel mogelijk
overbodige verneveling tegen te gaan.

5. Behandeling van vliegende insecten
Het is absoluut noodzakelijk dat de aanwijzingen op de verpakking van het insecticide opgevolgd worden. De
voorgeschreven dosering dient altijd opgevolgd te worden. Eventueel zou er een behandeling in twee stappen plaats
kunnen vinden:
1. Een eerste snelle behandeling op de grove vernevelstand indien de planten buiten staan en bij dicht
gebladerte.
2. Vervolgens een snelle behandeling op de fijne vernevelstand om zo de lucht met insecticide te verzadigen.
Verzeker uzelf er van dat er geen tocht aanwezig is, die de behandelde lucht verdrijft. Een simpele manier om dit te
testen is door water te vernevelen volgens de voorschriften voor het insecticide onder de gewenste omstandigheden.
6. Aanbevelingen
1. Vervang nooit een onderdeel van de atomist door een ander onderdeel. Dit komt de duurzaamheid van het
apparaat niet ten goede.
2. Wij raden u aan om uw atomist sprayer te laten onderhouden en eventueel repareren door uw leverancier.
Indien u zelf heeft getracht het apparaat te repareren vervalt ieder recht op garantie.
3. Maak het apparaat na gebruik goed schoon. Het achterblijven van chemische resten kan op den duur schade
aan het apparaat veroorzaken.
4. De garantieperiode geldt alleen bij normaal gebruik van het apparaat.
5. Het apparaat is voorzien van een thermische beveiliging die het apparaat bij overbelasting uitschakelt.
6. Indien de stekker beschadigd raakt, laat deze door een technicus of door uw leverancier vervangen.
7. NA GEBRUIK Om Atomist model 1952 op te bergen of om van sproeimateriaal te wisselen, haalt u de
sproeimond van de bus en zet u de bus aan om eventueel spuitmateriaal eruit te spoelen. De ongebruikte
spuitoplossing moet uit de spuitbus zijn verwijderd en de bussen moeten zijn gewassen voordat de spuitbus
weer op het apparaat moet worden bevestigd. Bij het gebruik van bevochtigde poeders verwijdert u de bus,
dompelt u de toevoerslang onder in schoon water en spoelt u de bus door tot er geen resten meer zichtbaar
zijn in de toevoerslang. Was de bus grondig.
7. Problemen
Problemen met de atomist komen niet zo vaak voor. Mocht u toch problemen hebben met uw atomist dan raden wij u
aan om deze altijd te laten verhelpen door de technische dienst van Schippers Bladel B.V.
De volgende problemen zouden zich voor kunnen doen:
De atomist zuigt de vloeistof niet goed aan
Oorzaak: de schroefring sluit niet goed of de aanzuigslang is versleten.
De motor draait niet
Oorzaak: controleer allereerst of er geen defect in de stekker of de schakelaar zit, is dit niet het geval dan is de
oorzaak waarschijnlijk gelegen in de motor.
8. Waarschuwingen
laat het apparaat niet draaien als de vloeistof op is.
Plaats het apparaat niet in de nabijheid van makkelijk brandbare voorwerpen.

OPERATION
IMPORTANT! Before operating your ATOMIST, read the following instructions carefully.
Read this Owner’s Manual completely. Be certain to keep this Manual for permanent reference.
When operating the ATOMIST , avoid harmful overheating of the motor.
Be sure the air intake is kept open at all times.
Do not use the ATOMIST for paint spraying.
Do not spray flammable liquids in the presence of open flame.
Do not spray, using flammable liquids, for prolonged periods in small enclosed areas.
If the cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced before further use.
If the spray pattern becomes irregular during operation, switch the ATOMIST off, remove the intake strainer and
clean the screen.
As you finish spraying, switch off the motor, tip the discharge hose and nozzle up, above horizontal, so that any
solution in the supply tube can drain back down into the tank. (1026A Only)
1. General Information
Your ATOMIST is unique in that is equally efficient as a spray applicator in areas of all types from small rooms in
hospitals, hotels and offices, to large enclosures such as auditoriums, dairy barns and food processing areas. It is also
ideal for use out of doors as a fast, effective space spray applicator to control mosquito and other flying insects.
USE PESTICIDES SAFELY!!
Observe these basic precautions:
1. READ THE LABEL ON EACH PESTICIDE CONTAINER BEFORE USE.
Follow instructions; heed all cautions and warnings. Why read the label each time? Because the chemical nature of
pesticides and their uses vary greatly. You should refresh your mind each time on the material’s specific uses.
2. STORE PESTICIDES IN THEIR ORIGINAL, LABELED CONTAINERS.
Keep them out of the reach of children and irresponsible people. They cannot be properly identified unless they are in
original labeled containers. Lock pesticides away from seed and other supplies.
3. APPLY PESTICIDES ONLY AS DIRECTED.
Apply them only to the crops specified, in amounts specified and at times specified in label instructions or by your
agricultural authorities.

NOTE: All measures are liquid or capacity measures; not avoirdupois or by weight measures.

Basic operation
ATOMIST sprayers are provided with a shatter- and corrosion-ressistant 2 gal. Canister, ideal for use with all types of
insectides, germicides, deodorants and disinfectants. To fill, unscrew the unit from canister and lift the sprayer off the
canister. Lay the sprayer on its side in a clean place. Fill the canister with the desired amount of spray material.
Reposition the sprayer on the canister top and screw on tightly. The ATOMIST sprayer is now ready for operation.
Check the switch to make sure it is in “OFF” position. Plug the cord into a 110/120 volt AC outlet. Point the ATOMIST
in the desired direction and switch the unit “ON”. Discharge rate can be adjusted by turning the knurled discharge
control.
DISCHARGE CHARACTERISTICS
SPRAY ADJUSTMENT
Model 1952A has an adjustment range of 1.5 to 5.3 gallons per hour.

Discharge rates are affected by variation in substances applied, altitude, liquid level in container and prevailing climatic
conditions. Spray directions is variable through all degrees between 35° upward to 35° downward.
SPRAY DISTANCE
In carefully controlled testing of basic unit, spray pattern is detectable up to 100 feet from nozzle. Throughout this range
there is no floor wetting.
SPRAY WETTABLE POWDERS
The ATOMIST readily sprays wettable powders at a maximum discharge rate of 5.3 gallons per hour. Since wettable
powders are available in a wide variety of formulations, it is advisable to make a preliminary trial of each individual
formulation as you use it in you ARTOMIST, to be sure that the necessary discharge rate is obtainable.
SPRAY PATTERNS
The unit atomizes 95% of its output to particles of less than 50 microns using generally approved testing material.
Average particle size is 20 microns.
AFTER USE
To store the Model 1952 Atomist or to change spray materials, detach the sprayer from the canister and turn it on to
flush out any spray material. The sprayer should be emptied of any unused spray solution and the canisters should be
washed after which it should be remounted onto unit. After use with wettable powders, detach the canister, immerse the
supply tube in clear water and flush until no residue can be seen in the supply tube. Wash the canister thoroughly.

3. Atomist service policy
In the event that service or repair should prove to be necessary, the following precautions must be kept in mind.
1. Do not attempt service or parts replacement beyond installation of those parts itemized in the Service Parts
section that follows. Service to the motor requires special equipment and discharge rates are carefully tested after
service by factory personnel.
2. For the above reasons, we recommend that you always return your ATOMIST to the RL factory for service.

4. Special notice to users
We caution each use of this equipment to read carefully and make sure he understands and follows the directions
furnished by the manufacturer of pesticides or other chemicals to be applied. Exceeding of tolerance limits permitted on
foods and damage to crops, plants, livestock and other property or to persons may result from excessive applications of
such substances or the selection of the wrong substance.
Damage in transit, wearing of nozzles or other parts by action of substances applies, temperature, altitude, climatic
factors and manners of use may affect the performance of this equipment and its parts and accessories.
Therefore, careful maintenance, approved calibration procedures and repeated testing of output are necessary for safe
and satisfactory results. Users must determine that the rate and type of applications produced at any time is the proper

one for the pesticide or chemical being used and the conditions under which it is being applied. By the act of purchase
of the equipment, the purchases does legally erlieve the sellers from any responsibility of liability.
5. Pesticides; General Information
Insecticides of minimal toxicity to humans and warm blooded animals are strongly recommended for applications in
and around residential areas. Such chemicals have a shorter effective residual effect which, in turn, makes the interval
between treatments shorter. Typical fly and mosquito control chemicals of the low toxicity type for use as space sprays
include naled,
synergized pyrethrins and malathion. Insecticides of low toxicity that are extensively packaged for use as plant health
sprays include malthion, methoxyclor, carbaryl and rotenone. These chemicals are formulated under many different
brand names by many different formulators often in combinations with other insecticides and also with certain
fungicides or miticides to give a wider sprectrum or range of effect of to provide more complete production against both
insects and disease for a specific type of planting.
PLAN CAREFULLY FOR BEST RESULTS
The best way to familiarize yourself with the discharge characteristics and fast coverage of your Airblast type Atomist is
to make a test run with it over a typical area of your property. When you do this, use water instead of insecticide and
practice to get the knack of moving along at a steady pace to get even application. A timetable of this sort coordinated
with the known capability of you Atomist enables you to estimate quite closely about how long it will take you and
about how much spray solution will be required to perform routine spraying jobs. For example, with the selector valve
on “fine” (no tank pressure) setting and the nozzle control hub at low adjustment, the 2 gallon tank will be emptied in
one hour and 20 minutes. With a control hub adjusted to high setting, selector valve still “fine”, a tank load of 2 gallons
will be emptied in about 24 minutes. This rate is established by using water only.

Basic operation
The Model 1026 Atomist is provided with a shatter- and corrosion-resistant 2 gallon canister. To fill, unscrew unit from
canister and lift the sprayer off the canister. Lay the sprayer on its side in a clean place. Fill the canister with the desired
amount of spray material. Reposition the sprayer on the canister top and screw unit back on to canister tightly. Check
the spray selector valve lever on the tube that extends from the motor housing to the tank cover plate and set it
according to the spray pattern you want. “Heavy” setting is with valve lever turned full to the left as you face the unit.
This covers the valve
opening and pressurizes the spray canister forcing air down into the tank. Heavy setting produces a dense wetting
spray ideal for application of residual or surface type spraying. If you want a light, space spray of ultra fine particles
for flying insect control, turn the valve lever full right, “fine” etting, to open the selector valve. This allows the air not
utilized in the spray discharge to escape. After you have set the selector valve, the Atoist is ready for operation. Check
the switch to make sure it is in “Off” position. Plug the cord into a 110/120 volt AC outlet. Point the discharge hose in
the desired direction
and switch the unit “On”. Discharge rate can be adjusted by turning the knurled discharge control at the hose end.
DISCHARGE SPECIFICATIONS

hour to 5.3 gallons per hour. On “heavy” pressurized setting the Atomist has an adjustment range of from 6 gallons
per hour to 14 gallons per hour. Discharge rates are affected by variations in substances applied, altitude, liquid level
in container and
prevailing climatic conditions. Spray direction is variable through manipulation of the discharge hose.
SPRAY WETTABLE POWDERS
The Atomist readily sprays wettable powders. Since wettable powders are available in a wide variety of formulations, it
is advisable to make preliminary trial of each individual formulation as you use it in your Atomist to be sure that the
necessary discharge rate is obtainable. Shake or agitate solution tank periodically to keep insecticide in suspension.
BASIC SPRAY PROCEDURES
RESIDUAL SPRAYING
Your objective when spraying garden plantings should be to spread a light liquid film of chemical over leaf surfaces.
Spraying of ornamentals or fruit trees will require more material for deeper penetration, but in neither case is it
necessary to drench or spray to the point of runoff. You get maximum effect using less spray material with your Airblast
Atomist.
FLY AND MOSQUITO CONTROL

For thorough control of flying insects in your yard and patio area, a two step program is recommended. In following
this program, be sure to mix your spray according to the directions on the manufacturer’s package. Do not concentrate.
Then, after filling the container, turn the selector valve to “heavy” or pressurized setting and turn the control hub of the
hose end to the heavy setting. Spray all shrubbery, dense foliage and low tree branches in the area for full penetration.
It is important that you keep the spray pattern moving constantly to avoid over application on any area because of the
Atomist’s highrate of coverage. Next, with the selector valve turned to fine (unpressuirzed) setting, adjust the discharge
control to the low setting and fill air space with insectcide. If there are any noticeable air currents, be sure you are
facing away, or down
wind from the air motion. A preliminary trial with water will enable you to tell very quickly how long it will take to
blanket the area you may want to treat.
AFTER USE
When the Atomist is switched off after spraying, the syphoning action may continue for a moment, resulting in
discharge of a solid stream of spray material. To prevent this, tip the nozzle up straight just as you switch off the motor.
This will flush spray solution remaining in the discharge line back into the solution tank. To store the Model 1026A
Atomist or to change spray materials, detach the sprayer from the canister and turn it on to flush out any spray
material. The sprayer should be emptied of any unused spray solution and the canister should be washed after which it
should be remounted onto unit. After use with wettable powders, detach the canister, immerse the supply tube in clear
water and flush until no residue can be seen in the supply tube. Wash the canister thoroughly.
USE OF CONCENTRATE SPRAYS
As a general rule, where the requirement is to spray a small area, a few plantings or a small group of ornamentals for
example, there is little need to make a concentrate spray mix since often a thankful (2 gallons) of solution mixed
according to standard package directions will provide needed coverage. With the Atomist’s high rate of discharge,
standard mixes can be applied over limited areas so quickly that concentration is not of primary importance.
1. Be sure in all cases that the quantity of pure chemicals (technical materials) to be applied over a given area in
any spray solution is no greater than the quantity specified in the directions furnished by the manufacturer of the
pestcide in question for that same area. In no event should the recommended quantity of pesticide per unit of area be
exceeded.
2. Since concentrations of certain chemicals may be injurious to some plantings or ornamentals, it is strongly
recommended as a measure of careful use that a preliminary test spraying of a sample area or a sample planting be
conducted in advance of any general spraying activity. To avoid over application or plant injury, concentrate spray
mixes are not suggested when heavy wetting sprays are desired on plant surfaces. Variable external factors such as
wind, temperatures and other climatic conditions that may prevail at any given time, can also, affect spraying results to
a marked degree.
3. Use pesticides safely by following label instructions and contact your County Agent for Advice concerning
specific pest control problems.

Der Atomist Sprayer ist mit einem Kunststofftank mit 7,6 Liter Inhalt ausgestattet. Um den Atomist Sprayer zu befüllen,
muß zuerst der Sicherungsring losgelöst werden, sodass der Tank vom Vernebelungsgerät abgenommen werden kann.
Der Tank kann dann mit der gewünschten Menge Flüssigkeit gefüüllt werden (benutzen Sie am Besten einen sauberen
Trichter). Platzieren Sie das Gerät zurück auf den Tank und achten Sie dabei darauf, dass der Ansaugschlach im Tank
hängt. Klicken Sie den Sicherungsring wieder fest. Sie können das Gerät einfach mit dem Trageriemen über der
Schulter transportieren. Stecken Sie den Stecker in die Steckdose und nehmen Sie den Sprühkopf von der Halterung.
Richten Sie den Sprühkopf in die gewünschte Richtung und stellen Sie den Schalter auf die Position „on“. Das Gerät
beginnt jetzt mit dem Versprühen der Flüssigkeit.
Achtung: Lassen Sie den Sprühkopf nicht auf der Halterung am Griff festgeklemmt! Dadurch gelangt Flüssigkeit in den
Motor des Atomist Sprayers, worduch Korrisionen entstehen können.

1.1 Grobe Vernebelung:
Wird erreicht, indem der Drehknopf am Sprühkopf nach links gedreht wird, bis der Strich auf „high“ steht. Dies gibt
eine sehr feuchte Vernebelung.
1.2 Feine Vernebelung:
Wird erreicht, indem der Drehknopf am Sprühkopf nach rechts gedreht wird, bis der Strich auf „low“ steht. Hiermit wird
eine sehr feine Vernebelung erreicht für ein großes räumliches Volumen (notwendig für die Bekämpfung von Fliegenden
Insekten).
Der feine Stand gibt eine Vernebelung von 5,7 bis 20 Liter Flüssigkeit pro Stunde. Der grobe Stand gibt eine
Vernebelung zwischen 23 und 53 Litern pro Stunde. Der Verbrauch des Atomist Sprayers ist abhängig vom
eingesetzten Produkt, dem Flüssigkeitsniveau im Tank und den Klimaumständen.
2. Versprühen von löslichem Pulver
Das Gerät ist einsetzbar zur Vernebelung von verschiedenen löslichen Präparaten. Es ist ratsam, vorerst eine kleine
Menge der Lösung in den Tank zu geben und zu prüfen, ob das gewünschte Ergebnis erzieht wird. Um zu verhindern,
dass Ablagerungen des Mittels im Tank bleiben, ist es notwendig, dass Sie während des Vernebeln des Tank
regelmäßig schütteln.
3. Eigenschaften der Vernebelung
Bei einer feinen Vernebelung erreicht der Atomist Sprayer eine Kapazität von 95 % bei einer Teilchengröße von 22
Mikron. Damit idt das Gerät besonders geeignet für die Bahndlung von großen Räumen.
Bei einer groben Vernebelung erreicht der Atomist Sprayer eine Kapazität vin 95 % bei einer Teilchengröße von 46
Mikron.
Zur Information: bei Vernebelung von einfachem Wasser bei feinem Vernebelstand mit der niedrigsten Kapazität wird
der Tank in etwa 80 Minuten vollständig geleert.
4. Übrige Anwendungen
Die Behandlung von Zierpflanzen unterscheidet sich von der Behandlung von Fruchtbäumen, die mit viel größere
Mengen behandelt werden müssen, um die gewünschten Ergebnisse zu erzielen. Dies sollte bei der Einstellung beachtet
werden, um unnötige Arbeit zu ersparen.

5. Behandlung von fliegenden Insekten
Es ist absolut notwendig, dass die Anweisungen auf der Verpackung des eingesetzten Insektizides eingehalten werden.
Die vorgeschriebene Dosierung muß immer beachtet werden. Eventuell kann die Behandlung in zwei Schritten erfolgen:
1. eine erste schnelle Behandlung soll mit einer groben Einstellung durchgeführt werden, wenn die Pflanzen
draußen und dicht beieinander stehen.
2. nach der schnellen Behandlung soll die feine Einstellung gewählt werden, um die Luft mit Insektiziden
einzunebeln.
Gehen Sie sicher, dass keine Zugluft vorhanden ist, die die behandelte Luft vertreibt. Eine einfache Möglichkeit, dies zu
testen, ist die folgende: Sie führen die Vernebelung nach Vorschrift einfach mit sauberem Wasser durch.
6. Ratschläge zum Gebrauch
1. Ersetzen Sie niemals ein Ersatzteil des Atomist Sprayers durch ein anderes selbst, dabei können Probleme

6. Wenn der Stecker des Gerätes beschädigt wurde, lassen Sie ihn durch fachkundige Leute oder unsere
Serviceabteilung erneuern.
7. NACH DEM GEBRAUCH Für das Aufbewahren des Geräts oder das Wechseln der Spritzmaterialien bei
Modell 1952 den Sprayer vom Behälter abziehen und einschalten, um verbleibendes Spritzmaterial
auszuspülen. Nicht verwendete Sprühlösung aus dem Sprayer entleeren und den Behälter auswaschen und
anschließend wieder am Gerät montieren. Nach dem Gebrauch mit benetzbaren Pulvern den Behälter
abnehmen, das Zulaufrohr in sauberes Wasser eintauchen und ausspülen, bis keine Rückstande mehr im
Zulaufrohr erkennbar sind. Den Behälter gründlich reinigen.
7. Probleme
Probleme mit dem Atomist Sprayer kommen nach unserer Erfahrung selten vor. Falls doch einmal ein Problem auftreten
sollte, nehmen Sie bitte Kontakt mit uns auf. Die Mitarbeiter unserer Service-Abteilung werden Ihnen weiterhelfen.
Folgende probleme könnten vorkommen;
Der Atomist Sprayer saugt die Flüssigkeit nicht richtig an
Ursache: Der Sicherungsring schließt nicht gut ab oder der Ansaugschlauch ist verschlissen
Der Motor läuft nicht
Ursache: Kontrollieren Sie zuerst ob der Stecker in Ordnung ist und die Steckdose Strom abgibt. Ist dies nicht der Fall,
liegt die Ursache wahrscheinlich im Motor. Schicken Sie das Gerät dann bitte zusammen mti einer Beschreibung des
Problemes ein.

Important:
Avant toute mise en œvre, veuillez lire completent et attentivement les instructions d’emploi.
Recommandations prealables
1. La présente notice doit être conservée en permanence à portée de main lors d’utilisation.
2. En cours d’utilisation, éviter toute surchauffe préjudiciable au moteur. Bien s’assurer que l’admission demeure
toujours ouverte.
3. Ne pas utiliser l’appareil pour pulvériser de la peinture ou tout liquide inflammable, particulièrement en
présence de flamme (produits à base alcoolique par ex.).
4. Ne pas brumiser, pendant une période prolongée dans une atmosphère confinée, des liquides faiblement
inflammables.
5. Si le câble d’alimentation électrique se trouve endommagé, tout comme la prise, ils doivent être remplacés
avant tout autre utilisation. Ne pas tirer sur le câble pour débracher.
6. Si la pulvérisation/brumisation devient irrégulière lors des opérations, couper l’alimentation électrique ouvrir
l’appareil et nettoyer le filtre du tube plongeur.
7. A la fin des opérations, couper le moteur basculer le tuyau de décharge et la buse vers le haut afin d’éviter le
syphonage.
8. Utiliser tout équipement de protection (vêtements, masque, gants, etc...).
9. Les installations électriques des utilisateurs doivent répondre à la norme NF 15-100. Les prises de courant
doivent être munies d’une protection différentielle de 30 mA.
1. Information generale
L’appareil est unique en son genre de part sa versatilité qui l’autorise à être utilisé aussi bien en salles hospitalières,
services collecifs, hôtellerie ou bureaux mais aussi dans de larges espaces comme les auditoriums, les entrepôts, les les
laiteries et les unités agro-alimentaires. Il peut aussi être utilisé en extérieur pour une désinsectisation rapide et intense.
2. Mode operatoire
Le modèle Atomist est fourni avec un réservoir plastique résistant à la corrosion de 2 gallons (environ 7.6 lit).
Pour le remplissage, dévérouiller le colier de serrage puis désassembler la tête de brumisation du réservoir et la placer
dans un endroit propre à côté. Remplir le réservoir avec la quantité désirée de la solution à brumiser. Repositionner la
tête sur le réservoir en prenant soin du tube plongeur et reverrouiller la tête sur le réservoir en s’assuratn que les deux
éléments sont bien solidarisés. Vérifier le bouton-levier de valve situé sur le couvercle du réservoir (en dessous du
moteur) et le règler selon le type de brumisation souhaitée.
Règlage « Lourd » : est obtenu en tournant le bouton à fond à gauche quant on fait face à l’appareil. Ce
règlage correspond à une pulvération dense mouillante (en surface).
Rèlage « Fin « : à l’inverse du précédent soit à fond à droite en ouvrant la valve de règlage. Cela permet une
brumisation légère de fines particules pour un volume spatial large (traitement d’insectes volants).
Après avoir sélectionné la position sur la valve de règlage, l’appareil est prêt.
S’assurer alors que l’interrupteur est en position permée (OFF ou bien O). Brancher le cordon d’alimentation
électrique dans une pris à trois connections.
Diriger le tube de décharge dans la direction souhaitée et basculer alors l’interruptuer en position marche
(ON ou bien I).
Le débit de décharge peut être ajusté en tournant l’anneau de contrôle à l’embout du tube de décharge.

3. Specifications debit - decharge
Adjustement pulverisation
A partir du bouton –levier règlé en position « FIN » l’appareil possède une plage d’ajustement de débit entre 1.5
gallons/heure (environ 5.7 lit/h) et 5.3 gallons/heure (environ 20 lit/h).
Dans le règlage « LOURD » l’appareil posseède une possibilité d’ajustement depuis 6 gallons/heure (environ 23 lit/h)
jusqu’à 14 gallons/heure (environ 53 lit/h).
Les taux du réservoir et des conditions climatiques. La direction de pulvérisation est veriable selon l’orientation donnée
au tube de décharge.
Pulverisation de poudres mouillables
L’appareil est conçu pour diffuser des poudres mouillables. Du fait de l’extrême diversité des formulations de ce type de
poudres il est nécessaire d’effecteur des éssais préliminaires sur chaque formulation utilisée afin de s’assurer que le
résultat souhaité peut être obtenu. Ne pas omettre de secouer ou agiter fréquemment le réservoir afin de garder les
poudres en suspension.
Caracteristiques du spay de pulverisation
Lors du règlage « FIN » l’appareil fourni environ 95% de son débit en paricules de 22 microns en dimension
moyenne.
Ceci convenient parfaitement pour un traitement d’un espace volumique.
Lors de règlage « LOURD » l’appareil fourni environ 95% de son débit en particules de 46 microns en
dimension moyenne.
Ceci convenient bien au traitement de surface grâce à la combinaison de haute vélocité et de grosses
particules.
A titre d’information et en utilisation d’eau seule, le règlage « FIN » combiné au minimum de débit de
l’embout règlage permet de vider le réservoir en 80 minutes environ.
4. Procedures complementaires
Pulverisation residuelle
Le traitement de plantes ornemantales est differént de celui d’arbres fruitiers, ce dernier requerant des quantités plus
emportantes pour un traitement en profondeur.
Cependant en aucun cas il n’est nécessaire de « tremper » les éléments à traiter pour obtenir un résultat tout à fait
satisfaisant. L’appareil est conçu précisemment pour réduire au maximum la pulvérisation résiduelle.
Traitement des insectes volants
Il est absolutement nécessaire de respecter les directives sur l’emballage de l’insecticide à utiliser. Il ne faut pas
augmenter les concentrations mentionées. Il faut procèder en deux temps si nécessaire :
Un premier treitement rapide avec un règlage « LOURD » en particulier à l’extérieur et si il y a du feuillage.
Ensuite rapidement passer au règlage « FIN » pour saturer l’air avec l’insecticide.
A chaque étape s’assure de l’absence de courants d’air ainsi que de votre position éloignée par rapport à l’aire du
traitement. Un simple test préliminaire avec de l’eau permet de vérifier si les conditions exactes d’application de
l’insecticide sont celles souhaitées, sans risque aucun pour l’environnement et sans danger pour les êtres vivants (voir
norices et recommandations).
5. Utilisation –service après vente
Recommandations / precautions / garantie
En cas de disfonctionnement :
1. Ne jamais modifier, échanger ou remplacer une des piéces jugées défectueuses par une autre pièces
détachées listées dans la Notice de Pièces détachées. La maintenance du moteur est porticulière car les taux
de décharges et les règlages sont effectués en usine.
2. Pour ces raison nous vous recommandons de nous retourner systèmatiquement l’appareil pour les opérations
de service. Le fabricant oun son mandataire ne peuvent être tenus pour responsable d’une garantie ou d’un
préjudice si l’inspection effectuée démontre évidemment une altération consécutive à une tentative
d’intervention sur l’appareil.

3. S.A.V.
Avant tout renvoi, prendre soin de nettoyer soigneusement l’appareil. Nou nous réservons le droit de refuser
(donc de renvoyer) tout appareil contenant des résidus chimiques ou dont l’état exclurait toute intervention de
réfection. Emballer soigneusement l’appareil en y adjoignant le descriptif du problème rencontré. L’expédition
se fait aux frais de l’exéditeur. (aucun port-dû ne sera accepté).
4. GARANTIE
La période de garantie est de un an dans des conditions normales d’utilisation.
5. REMARQUE
Il est nécessaire de prévoir une protection thermique adaptée à la puissance de l’appareil sur chaque prise de
courant d’alimentation de ce type d’appareil (conformécement à la loi – Art 42 –Décret 14/11/1988).
6. REMARQUE IMPORTANTE
Si le câble d’alimtation est endommagé il doit être remplacé soit par le fabricant sit par son service après –
vente ou une personne de qualification similaier afin d’éviter tout danger ultérieur.
7. APRÈS UTILISATION Pour stocker le Model 1952 Atomist ou pour changer de produit à pulvériser, retirez le
vaporisateur du réservoir et retournez-le pour le vider de tout liquide de pulvérisation. Le pulvérisateur doit
être vidé de toute solution de vaporisation et les réservoirs doivent être lavés avant d’être remontés sur
l’appareil. Si vous avez utilisé des poudres à diluer, détachez le réservoir, plongez le tuyau dans de l’eau
propre et nettoyez-les jusqu’à ce qu’aucun résidu ne soit observé dans le tuyau d’alimentation. Rincez
soigneusement le réservoir.
6. Precautions indispensables
Nous attirons l’attention sur la nécessité, pour l’utilisateur de cet appareil de lire attentivement notices et
recommandations du fournisseur de produits chimiques à utiliser en s’assurant de bien comprendre les directives
fournies. Le non respect des limitations et recommandations indiquées peut causer de graves dommages aux produits et
lieux traités ainsi qu’aux éléments vivants y compris les personnes.
Les dommages qui auraient pu survenir lors du transport, manipulations ou bien par températures élevées, conditions
climatiques ou géographiques ainsi que de la manière d’utilisation, peuvent altérer sensiblement les performances de
l’appareil.
Une maintenance régulière, le suivi des opérations de calibrage et d’essais de débit, sont indispensables à l’obtention
de résultats satisfaisants et sécurisants. L’utilisateur doit bien apprécier les conditions d’application et de choix des
produits utilisés, qui sont de sa seule responsabilité.
L’acte d’achat de cet équipement dégage complètement la responsibilité du vendeur et tout autre engagement de sa
part.
7. Utilisation sans risque de pesticides
Observer les precautions elementaires suivantes :
1. Lire attentivement les étiquettes de chaque emballage de pesticides avant l’emploi
Suivre les instructions ; se remémorer toutes les précautions et avertissemts endiqués sur les étiquettes car la
nature chimique des pesticides et leur application, varient très largement. Bien garder à l’esprit à chaque fois
la spécificité d’usage de chaque produit.
2. Conserver et stocker les pesticides dans leur emballage et étiquettage d’origine
Les tenir hors de portée de personnes non responsables ou d’enfants.
Ils ne peuvent être clairement identifiés que s’ils sont dans leur emballage d’origine étiquetté.
Séparer les pesticides des graines ou autres fournitures et les enfermer soigneuesement hors d’atteinte de
quiconque non habilité.
3. Appliquer les pesticides tel qu’indique
Les mettre en œvre sur les produits spécifiés, en quantités indiquées et périodes recommandées dans les
instructions ou par les autorités agricoles ou autres. Attention à la protection de l’environnement.

Importante
Antes de empezar a utilizar el aparato, leer completa y atentamente las siguientes instrucciones de empleo.
Recomendaciones preliminares
1. Se recomienda llevar las instrucciones en mano en el momento de la utilización del aparato.
2. Durante la utilización, evitar cualquier sobrecalentamiento que pueda perjudicar el motor. Asegurarse que la
admisión de requerimiento esté siempre abierta.
3. No utilizar el aparato para pulverizar sobre pintura o cualquier otro líquido inflamable, particularmente en
presencia de llama (por ejemplo, productos a base de alcohol)
4. No pulverizar durante un periodo de tiempo prolongado en una atmósfera aislada de líquidos inflamables
5. Si el cable de alimentación de corriente está dañado, debe ser reemplazado antes de otra utilización. No
tirar del cable para desenchufar.
6. Si en el momento del uso del aparato, la pulverización/vaporización es irregular, debe desenchufar el
aparato, abrirlo y limpiar el filtro del tubo.
7. Finalizada las operaciones, apagar el motor, girar el tubo de descarga hacia arriba a fin de evitar un
sifonaje.
8. Usar un equipamiento de protección (ropa, máscara, guantes, etc.)
9. La instalación eléctrica de los usuarios debe responder a la norma NF 15-100. Las tomas de corriente deben
estar dotadas de una protección diferencial de 30 mA.

El Vaporizador Atomist es único en su género por su versatilidad, que le permite ser usado tanto en salas de
hospitales, servicios colectivos, hostelería y despachos así como en grandes espacios como auditorios, almacenes,
centrales lecheras y unidades agroalimentarias. También puede ser usado en exteriores para una desinsectación
rápida e intensa.
MODO DE OPERACIÓN
El modelo Atomist viene dotado con un contenedor de plástico resistente a la corrosión de 2 galones (alrededor de 7,6
litros). Para su llenado, desenroscar por el cuello, dejando la cabeza del vaporizador en un lugar próximo y limpio.
Llenar el contenedor con la cantidad de solución deseada para vaporizar. Volver a colocar la cabeza del vaporizador
cogiéndolo por el tubo y enroscándolo al cuello del contenedor asegurándose de que ha quedado bien cogido.
Regular la válvula situada en la parte superior del contenedor (debajo del Motor) según el tipo de vaporización que se
quiera realizar.
- Reglaje « Pesado » (Lourd): se obtiene girando el botón al fondo a la
izquierda, para una pulverización densa y mojada (sobre superficies).
- Reglaje « Fin » : a la inversa, o sea, al fondo a la derecha abriendo la válvula de reglaje. Esto permite una
vaporización ligera de finas partículas para un volumen espacial largo (tratamiento de insectos volantes) después de
haber seleccionado la posición de la válvula de reglaje, el aparato está preparado para su puesta en marcha.
Asegurarse entonces de que el interruptor está en posición permitida (OFF o bien O). Conectar el cordón de
alimentación eléctrica a una toma de tres conexiones. Dirigir el tubo de descarga hacia la dirección deseada y poner
entonces el interruptor en posición de marcha (ON o bien I).
La cantidad de descarga puede ser ajustada girando la anilla de control del embudo del tubo de descarga.

Ajuste de pulverización
A partir del reglaje « Fin », la cantidad a pulverizar pude ser regulada entre 1,5 galones/hora (alrededor 5,7

El grado de descarga varía en función de los productos aplicados, de la altitud, del nivel del líquido del depósito y de
las condiciones climáticas. La dirección de pulverización varía según la orientación del tubo de descarga.
Pulverización de polvos humidificados
El aparato ha sido concebido para difundir polvos humidificados. Debido a la extrema diversidad de formulaciones
sobre este tipo de polvos, es necesario efectuar ensayos preliminares sobre cada formulación a fin de asegurar que se
pueda obtener el resultado deseado. Jamás agitar frecuentemente el contenedor para que los polvos se mantengan en
suspensión.
Características de la pulverización
- Con el reglaje « Fin » el aparato usa alrededor del 95% de su carga en partículas de 22 microns en
dimensiones medianas, lo cual resulta adecuado para el tratamiento de un espacio volumétrico.

- A título de información y utilizando sólo agua, el reglaje « Fin » combinado con descarga mínima del
embudo permite vaciar el contenedor en aproximadamente 80 minutos.
3. Procedimientos complementarios
Pulverización residual
El tratamiento de plantas ornamentales es diferente a la de los árboles fruteros, éstos últimos requieren de cantidades
más importantes para un tratamiento en profundidad.
Dependiendo de cada caso, no es necesario remojar los elementos a tratar para obtener un resultado satisfactorio. El
Vaporizador Atomist ha sido concebido precisamente para reducir al máximo la pulverización residual.
Tratamiento de insectos voladores
Es absolutamente necesario respetar las directrices de embalaje del insecticida a utilizar. No requiere aumentar las
concentraciones mencionadas. Hay que proceder en dos tiempos si es necesario :
. un primer tratamiento rápido con un reglaje « Pesado » (Lourd), en particular en el exterior y si hay follaje.
. a continuación pasar al reglaje « Fin » para saturar el aire con el insecticida
En cada etapa debemos asegurarnos de la ausencia de corrientes de aire. Un simple test preliminar con el agua
permite verificar si las condiciones exactas de la aplicación del insecticida son las deseadas, sin ningún riesgo para el
medio ambiente y sin ningún peligro para los otros seres vivos.
4. Utilización –servicio post –venta
Recomendaciones –precaciones - garantía
En caso de que no funcione :
1. Jamás modificar, cambiar o reemplazar por sí solo una de las piezas juzgada como defectuosa por otra pieza. El
mantenimiento del motor resulta particular debido a que los grados de descarga y reglajes son efectuados en fábrica.
2. Por este motivo, recomendamos de que en caso de no funcionamiento nos devuelva el aparato completo para
proceder a las operaciones pertinentes. El fabricante o su mandatario no pueden ser considerados responsables de
una garantía si la inspección efectuada demuestra una alteración evidente y consecutiva de una intervención sobre el
aparato.
3. S.A.V.
Antes de proceder a su envío, limpiar cuidadosamente el aparato. Nos reservamos el derecho de rechazar el aparato
que contenga residuos químicos. Embalar cuidadosamente el Vaporizador y adjuntar nota describiendo el problema
encontrado. Este envío lo realiza el usuario a portes pagados (no se aceptará ningún envío a portes debidos).
4. GARANTÍA
El período de garantía es de 12 meses en condiciones normales de utilización.
5. NOTA
Es necesario preveer de una protección térmica adaptada a la potencia del aparato sobre cada toma de corriente de
alimentación de este tipo de aparato.
6. NOTA IMPORTANTE
Si el cable de alimentación de corriente ha sido dañado, debe ser reemplazado por el fabricante o por una persona
debidamente cualificada, a fin de evitar un daño posterior.

7. DESPUÉS DEL USO A la hora de guardar el vaporizador modelo 1952 o cambiar la solución pulverizable,
desmonte el pulverizador del depósito y enciéndalo para pulverizar los restos de solución que queden. Vacíe los restos
de solución pulverizable que queden en el pulverizador y lave el depósito; después, vuelva a montarlo en el aparato.
Tras usar el aparato con polvo humectable, desmonte el depósito, sumerja el tubo de aspiración en agua limpia y
lávelo hasta que no queden residuos en dicho tubo. Lave bien el depósito.
5. Precauciones indispensables
Insistimos en la necesidad por parte del usuario de leer atentamente estas instrucciones y recomendaciones a fin de
evitar daños graves en el producto y en el medio ambiente.
Los daños que hayan podido ser causados por el transporte, manipulaciones o temperaturas elevadas, condiciones
climáticas o geográficas así como una incorrecta utilización, pueden alterar sensiblemente las características del
aparato.
Un mantenimiento regular, seguir las operaciones de calibraje y pruebas preliminares son indispensables para obtener
resultados satisfactorios y seguros. El usuario debe conocer las condiciones de aplicación y escoger bien el producto
utilizado, lo cual es de su única y exclusiva responsabilidad.
6. Utilización sin riesgo de pesticidas
Observar las precauciones elementales siguientes :
1. Leer las etiquetas de cada embalaje de pesticidas antes de su empleo
Seguir las instrucciones, seguir las precauciones y advertencias indicadas en las etiquetas para conocer la naturaleza
química de los pesticidas y su aplicación. Guardar cada vez la especificación de uso de cada producto.
2. Conservar los pesticidas en su embalaje original y con su etiqueta de origen. Mantenerlos alejados de
personas no responsables o de niños.
3. Aplicar los pesticidas según sus indicaciones. Utilizar las cantidades indicadas en los periodos
recomendados en las etiquetas o los permitidos por las autoridades u otros. Atención a la protección medio ambiental.

Не допускайте хранение пестицидов содновременным хранением семян идругих материалов.
3. ПРИМЕНЯЙТЕ ПЕСТИЦИДЫ ТОЛЬКО всоответствии сназначением.
Применяйте их только для тех сельскохозяйственных культур, которые указаны винструкциях.

Основные операции
Распылитель имеет бак, изготовленный из высококачественного пластика, устойчивого к
химическим веществам, объем –около 7,6 л.
Канистра, идеально подходит для использования со всеми видами инсектицидов, гербицидов,
дезодорантов идезинфицирующих средств.
Чтобы заполнить канистру необходимо открутить разбрызгиватель.
Отложите разбрызгиватель встороне, вчистом месте.
Заполните канистру (предпочтительно спомощью чистой воронки) требуемым для вашей
обработки материалом.
Закрутите плотно разбрызгиватель сфильтром кканистре.
Распылитель готов кработе.
Проверьте переключатель, он должен находиться впозиции "OFF".
Подключите шнур врозетку электропитания постоянного тока.
Направьте распылитель «ATOMIST» внужном направлении, ипереведите переключатель на
позицию "ON".
КОРРЕКТИРОВКА РАЗБРЫЗГИВАНИЯ
Типовая модель 1952A имеет диапазон разбрызгивания от 1,5 до 5,3 галлонов вчас.
Нормы разбрызгивания меняются взависимости от: различной плотности применяемого
материала для обработки, высоты, климатических условий ит.д.
Направление брызг переменно через все степени от 35 ° вверх до 35 ° вниз.
РАССТОЯНИЕ БРЫЗГ
Втщательно проведенных тестированиях образец брызг зафиксирован на расстоянии до 100
футов от носика сопла.
По всему диапазону расстояния до объекта обработки -
увлажнения поверхности, не подлежащей обработке, не было.

Распылитель «ATOMIST» легко справляется сразбрызгиванием препаратов порошковой
структуры смаксимальной ставкой разгрузки (распыления) 5,3 галлон вчас. Внастоящее время
существует большое разнообразие препаратов, поэтому перед применением рекомендуется
ознакомиться схарактеристиками материала, для того чтобы убедиться, что результат
соответствующей разгрузки будет получен.

РЕКОМЕНДАЦИИ ПО УХОДУ ПОСЛЕ ИСПОЛЬЗОВАНИЯ
Перед тем, как убрать Распылитель «Atomist» на хранение или перед сменой продукта
отсоедините канистра от разбрызгивателя итщательно удалите все остатки предшествующего
продукта обработки иочистите все детали, промыв водой. Сособенной тщательностью
рекомендуется проводить очистку: канистры, фильтра, шланга поставки продукта, после
использования порошковых средств обработки.

ДЛЯ ПОЛУЧЕНИЯ ЛУЧШИХ РЕЗУЛЬТАТОВ ВРАБОТЕ СРАСПЫЛИТЕЛЕМ
Для ознакомления сособенностями разгрузки (разбрызгивания) аппарата
рекомендуем изначально провести тренировочное испытание распылителя.
Для этого необходимо выбрать рабочую площадь обработки изаполнить распылитель составом.
(Можно использовать обычную воду)
1.Проведите испытание саппаратом при выборе регулирования клапана отгрузки - “fine” (низкое
давление резервуара) инизком регулировании центра контроля носика сопла. Резервуар
аппарата будет освобожден за 1 ч20 мин.
2. Затем проведите испытание при выборе регулирования клапана отгрузки : так же - “fine”
(низкое давление резервуара), НО при высоком регулировании центра контроля носика .
Резервуар аппарата будет освобожден примерно за 24 минуты.
