Safety Instructions
Before first use of the machine, read the instructions carefully.
Safety instructions marked with this ⚠symbol must be observed to prevent personal injury or
serious damage to property.
WARNING ⚠
This machine has been designed for use with disinfecting agents supplied or
recommended by MS Schippers. The use of other disinfecting agents or
chemicals may adversely affect the safety of the machine.
High-pressure jets can be dangerous if subject to misuse. Close distance to the
jet nozzles when directed to persons can cause injuries; live electrical
equipment or the machine itself can be damaged.
Do not use the machine within range of persons unless they wear protective
clothes.
High-pressure machines shall not be used by children or untrained personnel.
High-pressure hoses, fittings and couplings are important for the safety of the
machine. Use only hoses, fittings and couplings recommended and approved by
the manufacturer of this machine.

To ensure machine safety, use only original spare parts recommended by the
manufacturer.
Don’t use the machine if a supply cord or important parts of the machine are
damaged, e.g. safety devices, high-pressure hoses etc.
Switch off and unplug the machine when leaving it unattended, when finished
using it or when doing repair and maintenance.
Never start a frozen machine
Supervise children not to play with the machine.
Always wear safety boots, respiratory mask, goggles and protective clothing
during operation.
During use of high-pressure jets, aerosols are formed. Inhalation of aerosols
can be hazardous to health, for the protection against aerosols a respiratory
mask of class FFP 2 or equivalent may be needed, depending on the disinfecting
agents.
User Guide
Provides a general overview of the machine and operation elements along with illustrated
sections on preparation, operation and user maintenance.
Transportation
The ULV++ machine can be moved on its own wheels or with a forklift. When moving it with a
forklift, use the appropriate
fork openings (1-1)
,
rubber pads (1-2)
inside the fork
openings reduce slipping danger.

Preparation
Before use, always inspect the machine and equipment for damages. In case of
damages, act according to listed warnings.
If the machine is dirty, clean it beforehand. In particular the
filling covers/lid (1-
3)
and around them (on top of the plastic tank), so that unnecessary dirt in the
tank wil be prevented.
Maintenance of the machine should always be done when starting up after long
time of storage.
Inside/on top of the
main tank (2-1)
, a smaller
rinse tank (2-2)
(water) is
mounted. Check whether this tank is empty, if not and the water inside is
If the water been held in the tank for a long time, drain it into the larger tank
using the the
rinse valve (2-3)
.
Check whether the tank is empty, if not empty the tank using the
drain valve (2-
4)
(underneath the tank). if the residue is mixed with chemicals, ensure
adequate collection and processing of the liquid.

Place the machine where it will be used, with a full tank it is more difficult to
move.
Close the rinse valve (2-3) and close the drain valve (2-4) before filling the tanks.
Before filling the tanks, make sure the filling hose near the machine is clean of
dirt.
Flush the filling hose with sufficient clean water before filling the tanks.
Remove the filler covers/lid from the rinse tank and the main tank, fill the
(smaller) rinse tank with clean water.
If the machine has not been used for a long time, please start it up with a bit of
clean water without chemicals. Inspect the high-pressure nozzles (following the
start up procedure) for any clogging or other technical inconveniences. In case
of irregularities, check the maintenance list.
Prepare the disinfecting agents. For filling you may use the included
measuring
cup (2-5)
, pour the disinfecting agent into the main tank. Make sure the
measuring cup is clean before and after use!

Fill the main tank with the required amount of water according with the MS-
Schippers disinfecting agent specification. Use the
level indicator (2-6)
for
leveling. You can place the filling hose in the holes provided for this in the tank
opening to prevent the hose from slipping.
Close the filler covers/lid from the rinse tank and the main tank.
Place the machine vantilator in the correct direction, for the apropiate tilt
setting, pull the
tilt latch (2-7)
before adjusment.

Startup
Place the plug in an earthed socket. The red lamp under the tank will light up,
this is a low pressure alarm.
Make sure the place/room for disinfection is hermetically sealed.
Switch on the fan using the off/on
fan switch (3-1). With an EC motor fan it takes
a few seconds before the fan starts up!
Switch on the high-pressure pump. Press the
high-pressure pump button (3-2)
and keep it pressed for a few seconds until the red lamp turns off. To speeds up
startup when starting up with empty system (no water in the high-pressure
pipework), open the
flush valve (3-3)
under the fan, keep the button pressed
until there is a steady flow of liquid. Then close the valve, the pressure in the
system increases and the red lamp turns off, you can now release the push
button.
Check the correct operation of the nozzles, in case of irregularities press the
high-pressure pump button (3-2)
again to switch it off manually. In case of
irregularities check the maintenance list.
When operating correctly, leave the room and close the door.
When the liquid has been nebulized, the pressure drops and the high-pressure
pump stops automatically. The red lamp lights up again.
If the machine is not used in the next room/place within a reasonable time
(24h), start the ‘rinsing’ procedure.
If the machine is to be used in a next room/place, stop the fan, remove the
power plug from the socket, and move the machine to the next room/place.
Repeat all steps from the 'preparation' procedure.
Rinsing
Open the
rinse valve (2-3)
and the
filling covers/lid (1-3) until
the
rinse tank (2-2)
emptied into the main tank.
Close the
filling covers/lid (1-3)
.
Follow the ‘Startup’ procedure.
When rinsing has finished, stop the fan, remove the plugs from the socket and
move the machine to storage area.

Maintenance, inspection and repair
Maintenance of the machine should always be done when starting up after a long time of
storage.
Replacing blocked nozzle, in the
maintenance box (3-1)
you can find spare
nozzles and the nozzle tool to turn the nozzle of and on. Blocked nozzles can be
cleaned with compressed air and/or in an ultrasonic liquid system.
When the high-pressure pump stops during operation check the
Arag filter (3-2)
underneath the tank. Clean or replace the
filter (4-1)
when required.
Keep the machine clean and frost free to avoid damage.
Operating pressure can be monitored on the
manometer (4-2)
, depending on
nozzle type the high-pressure pump operates at 60-100 Bar.
