Getting Started
The Silica Slayer™ by FlowZone® provides a rugged backpack reservoir with a lithium-ion
powered pump to deliver water to cut saws, core drills, etc. to knock down silica dust
and effectively protect the user’s lungs. In addition to being a water source for
silica disruption, the Silica Slayer™"can seamlessly transform into a sprayer
for applying chemicals used on job sites like curing compounds,
wood form release, concrete sealants, coloring
compounds, and so much more!

Silica Slayer™ Capabilities
The Silica Slayer™ contains a rugged diaphragm pump that is cable of pumping many kinds of water-soluble chemicals
such as water, form release, curing compounds, sealants, coloring agents, cleaning products, etc. Make sure to rinse the reservoir
after each use to avoid buildup. Never operate the sprayer with strong acids/bases or flammable liquids. Powered by an 18V li-ion
battery, the Silica Slayer proves 5x more efficient than manual pumping sprayers. It can be operated continuously for up to 2 hours
and spray more than 85 gallons per battery charge at a distance of 30 feet.

Make sure the quick-
connectors coming out
of the tank are
properly secured.

Remove holsters,
nuts, bolts and
nozzles from
the handle
storage and
intake filter
under the
tank cap.
STEP 1: Set up your sprayer
Attach holsters to
tank and tighten
with the
nuts &
bolts.

Fully charge battery
prior to first operation.
NOTE: The flashing light on charger indicates that battery is
charging and once it turns solid, the battery is fully charged.

Attach the wand to the gun by
pulling down on quick-connect
collar on gun and inserting wand.
NOTE: Make sure that the
brass quick-connect collar
slides back fully to the
closed position

Mount wand and spray gun
by snapping wand into
top and bottom holsters.
NOTE: Unused
nozzles can be stored
in the storage area
on the handle

Connect female GHT hose
to tools with a male GHT
connection (cut saw, core
drills, etc.)
NOTE: Always connect hose when
sprayer is turned off.
Determine which nozzle is
right for the job & connect
to spray wand by pulling
down on quick-connect and
inserting nozzle.

STEP 2: Get started spraying

Fill the sprayer with liquid
through the intake filter
and securely tighten
the tank cap.
NOTE: Always mix
liquid solution in a
separate container.

Turn pump on by flipping
switch on side of unit.
Flipping switch to “I” will
activate pump at 115 psi.
Flipping switch to “II” will
activate pump at 70 psi.

STEP 3: After you spray
Rinse out any solution you sprayed with water and
spray water through the sprayer and each nozzle for
3-5 minutes to completely rid tank of chemicals.
NOTE: Many chemicals will become sticky and gum up the
pump / hose / wand / nozzles if left in the sprayer.

Dry sprayer tank completely.

For long-term storage, regular discharging and
recharging of the battery is required (with an
interval of either every 2 weeks, one month,
or two months) to maximize battery life.

Recharge battery to 100% for next use.

Always store tank in a clean, empty and shady
location protected from extreme heat or frost.

Reconnect wand and gun to the top and bottom
holsters and place unused nozzles in top holster.

Other important considerations.
Do not operate the spray gun without
liquid in it. This may damage the pump.
After long periods of time without use,
the battery may have a low voltage and
will require extended charging.
Always wear protective clothing,
respirator, gloves, eye protection, etc.
when using chemicals.
Never spray chemicals against the wind
or towards humans, animals or food.
Do not operate sprayer in temperatures
lower than 32°F or exceeding 100°F.
Never operate with strong
acids, strong bases or
flammable liquids.
Never fill the sprayer with hot
liquids (max. temp. = 85°F).
Do not leave the sprayer in
reach of children or persons
not qualified to handle it in a
proper fashion.
Always use FlowZone original
replacement parts.
Do not dispose of lithium-ion
battery with household waste,
recycle where facilities exist.

Troubleshooting your sprayer
PROBLEM
SOLUTION
POSSIBLE REASON
Does not turn on
1. Remove battery & reattach to sprayer
2. Charge battery
3. Disconnect & reconnect all 5 electrical
connections coming out of the pump
1. Battery is not fully connected

Remove screws and remove the plastic
covering to expose pump. Loosen clamps
