Operating Instructions –Note: All buttons will allow 10 seconds to change a setting. The unit will
revert back to the run operation when it does not sense any additional input for 10 seconds.
EcoBreeze2 controls are designed to optimize the efficiency of cooling with outside air
1. On/off button
2. Fan mode button
3. Humidity control button
4. + Increase button
5. –Decrease button
6. Set up button
Power
Plug the unit into a 120 volt outlet. Press the on/off button to turn the unit on and off.
Set desired indoor temperature
Use the +/- to raise or lower the desired indoor temperature set point. The first push will show the current set point
temperature. Additional push raise or lower the temperature. After 10 seconds it will show the room temperature. A
lower set point will increase the use of outside air and can precool the home delaying the need for air conditioning.
Set humidity on/off
EcoBreeze 2.2 has a humidity lock out feature that increases energy efficiency and comfort when the unit is being used
with air conditioning. Push the HUM button and the Hum Limit light will illuminate indicating the limit is on. The control
is adjustable for different climate zones and individual preference. Use +/- to adjust. 1 is the lowest setting for dryer
climates and 6 is the highest setting for humid climates. In this mode the unit continuously monitors indoor and
outdoor humidity and will not bring in humid outside air. If the outdoor humidity is too high the Outdoor Humidity will
be illuminated. When air conditioning is not used the control can be turned off and the Hum display light will turn off.
Please note EcoBreeze 2.2 measures dew point not relative humidity.
Select the fan mode
The fan button changes the fan mode. . Press the fan button to toggle through the fan modes. The first press shows the
current mode. O for manual ON, 1 for automatic low speed, and 2 for automatic high or turbo speed.
Automatic mode
This unit has two automatic modes, automatic low speed and automatic high speed. Automatic low will not increase the
fan speed above a desired maximum. Automatic low speed can be adjusted in the set up mode and is useful to limit the
fan speed and noise especially at night. Automatic high speed is good to use when maximum cooling is needed such as
cooling a bedroom in the early evening or in the morning to capture the full benefits of precooling a room to reduce the
need for AC during the day.
Manual speed mode
The fan will run continuously on this setting. Press the fan button to 0 and immediately press the +/- buttons to raise or
lower the fan speed. Note the display will continue to display O for on when the fan is in manual mode. Press the fan
button once to adjust the speed when it is already in this mode.
Change the filter
The filter should be changed regularly to maximize cleaning effectiveness. The filter reminder can be adjusted based on
the conditions in the area. If the filter is clogged go to the setup and reduce the hours between filter changes. If the
filter is clean increase the hours between filters changes. The filter drawer is at the bottom of the unit. It may be

877-565-1457 7
opened with the handle on the bottom or the two finger tabs on the side of the unit. Slide the drawer completely out of
the unit. Slide the cover back to access the filter. Remove the existing filter and replace with a new filter. The filter
dimensions are a nominal 12” x 12” x 1” and may be purchased from Nature’s Cooling Solutions. The filter has a
direction indicator for the airflow direction. The filter should be installed so the airflow goes toward the top of the filter
drawer. Replace the filter drawer for operation.

Trouble shooting
EcoBreeze 2.2 not running
In auto mode EcoBreeze 2.2 will stay on or off for a
minimum of 3 minutes. This prevents short cycling.
Wait 3 minutes to confirm the fan is not running.
Confirm set point is less than indoor temperature.
If outdoor temp is illuminated outdoor temperature is
greater than indoor temperature and the fan will not
run.
If outdoor humidity light is on, the outdoor humidity is
above the set point and it is too humid for cooling. The
fan will not bring in humid air. This only works when
the humidity lock is on.
Check temperature and humidity readings.
Indoor temperature is displayed when no changes are
being made. The rest of the temperature and humidity
values can be displayed by pressing the settings button.
See the set up sequence on page 7.
Air flow decreases
If air flow decreases check the filter. If the filter is dirty
replace it and adjust filter reminder to a lower setting.
