equipment or personal injury resulting from improper use or installation of product. If product is intended to store/mount
equipment, please ensure the equipment stored/mounted does not exceed the specified weight capacity.

2. Rack Assembly
STEP 1. (Assemble the rack mounting frame)
Attach the 2x Horizontal Support Beams (A) to the 2x Vertical Mounting Rails (B) using 4x 12-24 Screws (G).
STEP 2. (Assemble the 2x side frames)
Attach the 2x Depth Mounting Beams (1x C + 1x D) to the Wall Mounting Beam (E) using 6x 12-24 Screws
(G).
For 6U or 9U, attach the Angle Support Beam (F) angling upward to the Depth Mounting Beam (C or D) and
the Wall Mounting Beam (E) using 2x 12-24 Screws (G).
For 12U or 15U, attach the 2x Angle Support Beams (F) to the 2x Depth Mounting Beams (C & D) and the
Wall Mounting Beam (E) using 4x 12-24 Screws (G).

STEP 3. (Assemble the rack mount frame to the side frames)
Assemble the rack mount frame to the side frames using 8x 12-24 screws (G)
6U and 9U final assembly should look like the photo to the right.
12U and 15U final assembly should look like the photo to the left.

3. Mounting the Rack to the wall
Attach the rack to a wall or other suitable
mounting surface using appropriate anchors.
Mounting holes are spaced 17" (432mm) as
reflected in the diagram.
Warning: Do not attempt to mount to wall when
equipment is mounted inside rack. Make sure
wall surface can hold weight of the cabinet and
equipment.
4. Equipment Installation

-Squared Hole Mounting
1 Locate the numbered square openings on the Vertical Mounting Rails (B) where you plan to install your
equipment. Install 12-24 threaded Cage Nuts into the square openings to provide an attachment point for the
12-24 threaded Mounting Screws. Note: Consult your equipment documentation to determine how many
cage nuts will be required and where they will need to be installed.
a- From the inside of the Vertical Mounting Rails (B), insert one of the flanges of the cage nut through the
square opening. Press it against the side of the square opening.
b- Compress the cage nut at the sides slightly to allow the remaining flange to fit through the square opening.
When the cage nut is properly installed, both flanges will protrude through the square opening and will be
visible on the outer surface of the mounting rail. Repeat steps 1a and 1b until all required cage nuts are
installed.
2 After installing the required cage nuts, use the included 12-24 threaded Mounting Screws to secure your
equipment into the installed 12-24 threaded Cage Nuts.
-Tapped Hole Mounting
Use the included 12-24 threaded Mounting Screws to
secure your equipment to the Vertical Mounting Rails
(B).
