1.0 Installation.
1.1 Removing the Belt Clip
a. Pull the Belt Clip latch forward
(away from the FX-250)
b. While pulling the Belt clip pertinent
latch, push up the Belt clip as
shown in Figure1.
1.2 Installing the Belt Clip
a. Slide the Belt clip into the
slot A “click” indicates the Belt
clip is locked into position.
2.0 Installing the Batteries
Caution: Observe the proper battery polarity orientation when
installing batteries. Incorrect positioning can damage both the
batteries and the unit.
a. Pull up on the battery door latch to remove the battery compartment door.
b. Install the rechargeable batteries by following the orientation as
shown in Figure 3 (the arrow is showing and pointing upward.)
c. Replace the Battery compartment cover. See Figure 4.
Important
-Read these Safety Warnings before you charge the batteries.
-When placing the 37755-TRU in the charger, use only the power supplies listed in the user
instructions supplied with the 37755-TRU.
-Don’t try to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
-Make sure the battery compartment cover is securely locked in place when you are charging
the batteries.
-Dispose of used batteries safely and in a way that will not harm the
environment, never try to burn them or put them anywhere, they could get burnt or punctured.
- Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type.

3.0 Charging the batteries
EN60950-1 and will invalidate any approvals & warranty.
a. Place the 37755-TRU units in the charge cradle in an upright position and
facing outward. The Charge LED indicators will light up.
b.It takes about 12 hours to fully recharge the batteries if they are
completely run down. New batteries take up to 14 hours to fully
Charge.
Note:
Use only power supplies listed in the user instruction, TGE050P055 EU, 5V 550mA
/100-240Vac Dongguan Guanjin Electronics tech., Co., Ltd.
Note:
Transmit and receiving not advisable during charging at “power On” mode basis
Battery meter
The battery icon is located in the left corner of the LCD panel. This battery icon
will displayed when low battery status. These indicate that the battery level
reaches its minimum level, at this stage the handset will emit two beep tones and
then it will automatically turn Off the power.
Battery life
The PMR has a built in power saver feature to make the batteries
last longer. But when you are not using the handset, it's better to
switch off to save the battery power.

Important:
Always turn off the PMR units
when charging. This will
shorten the charging time.

4.0 Operation
4.1 Turning the Unit ON/OFF
To Turn ON;
a. Press and hold the / (Power) button. A special “beep" sound will be
heard. The LCD screen will display the current channel.
To switch OFF;
b. Press and hold the / (Power) button. A special “beep" sound will be
heard and the LCD screen will turn blank.
4.2 Adjusting the Speaker volume
There are 8 volume levels, the current speaker volume level
is displayed on the LCD screen.
To adjust the speaker volume level, press the (UP) button to increase, or
press the (DOWN) button to decrease. The LCD screen will display the
speaker volume icon bars ascending, or descending respectively.
4.3 Receiving a Call
The unit is continuously in receive mode when the unit is turned
ON and not transmitting. When a signal is received on the current channel,
the receive signal icon“RX” will be displayed on the LCD screen.
4.4 Transmitting (sending)
a. Press and hold the PTT (Push to Talk) button to transmit your voice. The
transmit signal icon “TX” will display on the LCD screen.
b. Hold the unit in a vertical position with the Mic (Microphone) 5 cm away
from the mouth. While holding the PTT button, speak into the microphone in
a normal tone of voice.
c. Release the PTT button when you have finished transmitting.
Important:
·In order for other people to receive your transmission, they must
also be on the same channel that you are currently using. Refer
to the "Changing Channel" section for more information.
·When the PTT and/or CALL buttons are continuously pressed,
your PMR cannot receive any transmissions.
4.5 Roger Beep
The Roger Beep is a tone which is automatically transmitted
whenever the PTT button is released. This alerts the
receiving party that you have ended the transmission, and
you are now in receive mode.
4.6 Changing Channels
The PMR has 8 available channels. To change channels, in normal mode;
a. Press the Menu button, the channel icon “1 ” on the LCD screen will start
blinking.
b. While the Channel icon is blinking, press the (UP) or
(DOWN) button to select the desired channel. The
channel changes from 1 to 8, or vice versa.
c. Press the / (Menu) button to confirm your setting and return to the
standby mode.

·Refer to the "Channel Table" section of this Owner’s Manual
for detailed frequency listing.
4.7 Calling (Paging) Tone
You can use the CALL button to send a tone to other users on the same
channel. To activate this feature;
a. With the PMR in normal mode, press and release the CALL button. The
unit will transmit a 2-second page tone to the other unit/s set with the
same channel within transmitting range .
4.8Power Saving
Your PMR unit has special circuitry designed to extend the life of your
battery. When the unit is not used for 4 seconds, it will automatically switch
into a low power mode. The Power Saving feature does not affect the
PMR ability to receive transmissions. When a signal is detected, it
automatically returns to full power mode.
4.9 Low Battery Meter Indicator
The PMR can detect the low battery level when battery voltage goes low.
The battery icon will display the low battery status as follows;
When battery voltage at low battery level. The empty battery symbol will
appear at this stage and continue to blink.
The battery icon will continue to blink until it totally drain the battery
voltage.
Note: To have good communication, once the battery reach in low battery
level, replace the batteries into new ones.
4.10 FM Radio function
a. To activate the FM Radio, in standby mode, press and release
the Power button, FM frequency will display on the LCD
screen.
b. Press UP or DOWN button to change FM radio frequency.
c. Press Power button again to return back to PMR frequency
mode.
4.11 Key Lock
The Key Lock feature allows user to disable the UP, DOWN and
MENU buttons so that the PMR settings could not be changed
accidentally.
a. To activate the Key Lock feature, press and hold the MENU
button until“ ”disappears on the LCD Screen.
b. To deactivate the key Lock feature, press and hold the MENU
button until“ ”disappears on the LCD Screen.
The PTT, CALL and POWER buttons will remain functional even if
the Key Lock feature is activated.
