1. Introduction
N402 is a tracker destined to shipping
containermonitoringbythecollectionof
data and has been designed to function
by being placed on a container’s door.
The tracker stays active as long as it is
placed on the container door (magnet
activation).
Before using the N402 tracker, please
read the instructions specified in this
guide.

4. installation instructions
Step 1.
Install the device on the container door,
the thickest part on the inside, as high as
possible (ideally higher than the red mark
sometimes present inside the container).
Choose the door without the seal on the
side (normally on the le).

Step 2.
The device will be held by the
magnet, which will also detect
the tracker’s placement and
activate it.
Step 3.
You can then close the opposite
door, which seal will complete the
tracker’s installation by maintaining
it safely in place.

6. Reverse logistics
If you wish to retrieve your trackers at the end of
an expedition, you must return them yourself.
Here are our recommendations for international
returns:
• You can use the following HS Code for devices
returns, which is not subject to custom duties:
8526912099.
• These returns are still subject to 20% VAT, but
this is normally recoverable.
• The pro forma invoice is required. We
recommend that you use a degressive value
when the same device is used multiple times.
• It can also be considered to use an average
value (easier to establish but more complicated
in terms of justifications in case of control).
• We advise to make grouped returns of about
10 trackers (2.5kg).
• The average price of an international
transport is 45€ for 2,5Kg, which represents
4,5€ per tracker.

15.19 Labeling requirements.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1)
This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this
device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
15.21 Information to user.
Any Changes or modifications not expressly approved by
the party responsible for compliance could void the user's
authority to operate the equipment.
15.105 Information to user.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with
the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15
of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates uses
and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed
and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause
harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in
a particular installation. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception, which
can be determined by turning the equipment o and on,
the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by
one or more of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and
receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit dierent
from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician
for help.
This Transmitter must not be co-located or operating in
conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
This equipment should be installed and operated with
distance more than 20cm between the radiator & your
body.

an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries
according to the instructions.

requirements and other relevant provisions of
Directive 2014/53/EU. This product is allowed
to be used in all EU member states.
