Handling Instructions and use appropriately.

Before Installation, Operation, Maintenance-inspection, be sure to read carefully this Instruction
Manual and use the equipment appropriately. Use the equipment after carefully reading all the
caution items, safety information, and other discriminations.
In this User's Manual, the Safety Precautionary Items are divided into different Ranks viz.
"Danger", "Warning" and "Caution". All the items are safety related important contents.
Certainly abide by it.
If you ignore the contents mentioned under this column and wrongly handle this, it
may cause to Death or Dangerous Serious Illness or the Danger of Fire, and the
contents under this symbol indicate assumption of tension arising out of it.
DANGER
This symbol indicates the assumption of arising dangerous situation causing
Serious Illness, if it is handled wrongly.
WARNING
This symbol indicates the assumption of arising dangerous situation causing minor
injury or damage to material, if it is handled wrongly.
CAUTION
However, depending upon the situation, there could be a possibility that it may
cause serious results. Certainly abide by it.
The categories of protection contents are explained and separated by the following pictorial expressions.

WARNING
Do not operate in the dangerous atmosphere of
Fire Catching or Explosion.
Heavy ! Take sufficient care while handling. If
by mistake fallen on feet, it is feared that it may
cause serious injury and hence take sufficient
care.

bsolutely Do Not use in the atmosphere of Fats
and Oils having dangerous Explosion or Fire
Catching, Inflammable Gas.
Do not touch to the running parts - inner parts
while Measuring or Working.
Do not insert your figure or hand in the running
parts - inner parts while Measuring or

djustments. Since catching of Hand, Figure or Clothes is
feared, take sufficient care.
While Maintenance or Inspection, or when for a longer time the machine is not in use, without fail remove
the Power Supply Plug from the Plug Socket. Further, with the wet-hands do not insert/take out the plug.
Electric shock or Injury is feared.

CAUTION
Do not install at the place with excessive
humidity or the place with direct water contact.If the place of installation or installation situation
is bad, it is feared that the noise may increase
and hence install it appropriately. Fire due to Electric Shock, Electric Leakage as
also the Trouble due to it is feared
While removing the Power Supply Plug, without
holding the Supply Cord, make sure to hold the
Supply Plug Tip and pull it out. Holding Power Supply Cord alive, absolutely do
not do Goods carrying or Movement.
The Electric Supply Cord may be broken and may
cause Electric Shock, Fire or Accident.
With Electric Shock or Short, fire is feared.
Do not Scratch, Damage, Process, Over-turn,
Pull, Twist, or Bundle the Power Supply Cord.
Further, do not Load or Insert Objects in it.
Confirm whether the Power Supply is the same as
the displayed Single Phase and is connected to
the proper Socket of the displayed Voltage.
Further, do not make the wire with many legs out.
The Electric Supply Cord may be broken and
may cause Electric Shock, Fire or Accident. It may cause damage, fire or the Electric Shock.
VARIOUS CAUTIONS BEFORE USAGE
Usage at below mentioned Environment and Storage is to be avoided. The Force Gauge moves with all the PULL, PUSH Switches, hence do
not touch the hand on the sliding parts
Places where Water, Oil, Chemical may come in contact.
Further, take care that Force Gauge Cable is not caught in the Sliding
Parts, and take care about the Cable that runs around.
Places with ample dust.
Places where condensation may emerge.
A
place where Fire, Explosion danger may exists. Be sure that Force Gauge Installation is performed in the Switch Off
condition.
Places where vibration of Machinery etc. may occur.
Be sure that the Alignment of Set Dog Position is performed under the
Stop

Places where Temperature may go below 0oC, or exceed 40oC
Avoid cleaning with Thinner, Gasoline etc. Be sure that the Earth Cable is grounded.
Installation of Digital Force Gauge FGP Series
While installing the Digital Force Gauge FGP Series to the Test Stand, , FGP Function Setting F06 Outer Parts Output Switchover Setting is to be performed
by the Over Load Output (over) Setting. If setting is performed using the Comparator Output, then with the Force Gauge Over Load (Excess Load), the
Stand does not Stop.

Before Use.
From Force gauge Installation to Measurements.
This Stand is installed on Digital Force Gauge (FGP Series, FGPX Series) made in this company and is set to perform all types of Load Tests. Related to its
utilization, execute it from installation to measurement with the following procedure. When you are in difficulty, deal it with the Trouble Shooting.

Mode and Movement Speed at PUSH/PULL Operation at 1 Cycle (SIG),

increases/decreases continuously at the rate of 10 digits.

Preparation
Installation of Force Gauge
Using the Allen Key Spanner provided in the Accessories,
remove the installation bolts, and thus remove the Force
Gau

e Installation Board.
Install the Force Gauge to the Force Gauge Installation
Board.
With Installation Bolts, Install to the Stand.
Set the Force Gauge to the Installation Board.
With the 4 Installation bolts, install the Force Gauge Installation
Board to the Stand...
Fix to the Force Gauge.
Possible Force Gauges Installation to the FGS-50E is the FGP Series and FGPX Series.
Cable connection to the Force Gauge.
Insert the attached connecting cable to the back-side connector of FGS-40E Stand and connect the other side to the corresponding
connector of Force Gauge.
If this connecting cable is not connected, with the Over Load of Force Gauge, the Stop Function of the Stand may not be available. In
order to protect the Force Gauge, connect the connecting cable.

Movement.
Basic Movement.
While aligning, take sufficient care, as there is a fear of catching of hand, finger, and clothes and may
cause injury.
Force Gauge Power Supply ON.
(Example) Tension Test of Wire.
Stand FGS-50E Power Supply ON.
Power Supply Switch of Stand Back-side to be put to ON.
Remove your hands from the Stand Moveable Parts or the
Force Gauge and then put the Power Supply to "ON".

fter that, after executing the Model Display, it becomes the
Speed Display.

MODE (Measuring Method) Setting.
Select the Movement Mode, matching to the usefulness and the measuring object.
Movement Mode.
With the help of pressing the PUSH Key or PULL Key, Manual, Jogging, 1Cycle or Continuous Movement could be performed.

Manual Mode Display.
Start Measuring.
With the PUSH or PULL Key, Measurement can be started.
For details refer to the Movement Mode Operation described later.
Load Test as follows can be performed.
Press Test - Tensile Strength Test - Weld Strength Test - Peel off Test - Absorption Power Test
Resistance Power Test - Uncapping (Seal) Test - Punching Test.

Transition Mode.
If you want to perform Load Test Manually by pressing PUSH or PULL key.
Examples.
Pressing the PULL Key at one time only, if you want to make move the Force Gauge up to PULL Limit
Dog. Select Movement Mode.
By only Pressing the PUSH Key as required, if you want to make move the Force Gauge.
If you want to make move continuously the Force Gauge at number of times between the PUSH and PULL
Limit Dog.

If the Mode Selection Switch (Operation Panel) is pressed, the Movement Mode changes by turns as follows. Utilize by
selecting the Movement making Mode. The present Movement Mode is displayed at the upper centre of LCD.

between the PUSH (PULL) Limit Dog. When you want to make it stop,
press the Stop Switch (Operation Panel).

Content
Jogging Movement is performed
While the PUSH Key or PULL Key is in pressed condition, it moves towards PUSH or
PULL.
If you release the PUSH Key or PULL Key, it stops.

It changes by UP, DOWN Key. The speed setting of JOG Mode and MANU Mode becomes common.
Speed Variation is also possible during the movement.

Contents
1 Cycle (Compression. Expansion) Movement is performed.
In between the Limit Switches, it repeats movement for 1 time only. As regards PUSH Direction and PULL Direction, it
moves with its respective advanced speed setting and by memorizing the movement speed,
If either PUSH Key or PULL Key is pressed, it starts moving towards PUSH or PULL Direction
When STOP Key is pressed, the movement stops. Stops by Limit Switch in ON position.

Setting the PUSH Direction Movement Speed by UP/DOWN Key, if the MAX is pressed, it turns into the PULL Direction Movement Speed
Setting.

In case the setting is to be cancelled in between, then by pressing Stop Switch (STOP Key), it could be executed.

Confirm the load given to the Force

capacity of the installed Force Gauge is
appropriate.

OVR and MODE Display.
The Force Gauge PULL Direction over
Load was detected. Release opens the Movement and Load.
Confirm the load given to the Force
Gauge and confirm whether the rated
capacity of the installed Force Gauge is
appropriate.

fter avoiding the abnormal condition,
put the Emergency Stop Switch to OFF.
Emergency Stop Switch was pressed.

The Motor abnormality was generated. Putting the Power Supply to OFF, during
the period of 1 minute, put the Power
Supply to ON. If again the same Error
