SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR INTRINSIC SAFETY
For personal safety, always conrm the rating of any known hazardous or
potentially hazardous location where the XPR-5560 is to be used.
CAUTION
yRechargeable Lithium-ion batteries must be used and charged properly.
Improper use can result in serious injury, re, or death.
yDo not leave the battery in direct sunlight or use or store the battery inside
cars in hot weather.
yDo not expose the battery to water or salt water, or allow the battery to
get wet.
yDo not store the battery with metallic objects that may cause a short circuit.
yImmediately discontinue use of the battery if the battery emits an unusual
smell, feels hot, changes color, changes shape or appears abnormal in any way.
yKeep out of the reach of children.
CHARGING THE LIGHT
WARNING: Use only the Nightstick charger and approved Nightstick
Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery Pack.
yThe time required to charge the 5560 is conditional on the remaining
charge left in the Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery Pack at the time of
charging. The maximum charge time required is approximately 6 hours.
yFully charge the 5560 before the rst use, or if the 5560 has been unused
for several months.
yWhen the 5560 is properly seated in the charger, the LED Charge Indicator
light will turn solid RED indicating that the Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery
Pack is charging. The Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery Pack is fully
charged when the LED Charge Indicator light turns GREEN.
yThe Lithium-ion Rechargeable Battery Pack does not have any Recharge
Memory Effect; therefore placing the 5560 in the charger prior to full
depletion of the battery does not adversely affect the battery life. The 5560
can be kept in the charger indenitely without any negative impact on the
battery or the battery life.
OPERATION
The XPR-5560 is controlled by 2 Switches and has 6 separate lighting
modes:
yHigh-brightness Spotlight
yLow-brightness Spotlight
ySpotlight Beacon
yHigh-brightness Floodlight
ySurvival-mode Floodlight
yDual-Light (both the Spotlight and Floodlight on at the same time)
Spotlight Modes
To activate the spotlight, press and release the spotlight switch. The
default mode will be low-brightness. Press the spotlight switch a second time
to activate the high-brightness mode. To activate the spotlight beacon press
and hold the spotlight button until the beacon turns on. Press the spotlight
switch a third time to turn the light off.
Floodlight Modes
To activate the oodlight, press and release the oodlight switch. The
default mode will be high-brightness. To select the survival mode, press the
oodlight switch a second time. Press the oodlight switch a third time to turn
the light off.
Dual-Light Mode
Dual-Light mode allows the user to turn on both the spotlight and the
oodlight at the same time. Dual-Light mode can be activated by simply
pressing the spotlight switch and then the oodlight switch. If the 5560
already has the spotlight or the oodlight on (regardless of what brightness
mode that light is in), pressing the switch for the light that is NOT on, will
activate Dual-Light mode. The user can leave Dual-Light mode and go back
to either spotlight or oodlight mode simply by pressing the switch for the
mode that they wish to turn off. To turn both lights off, simply press each of
the switches independently.

yNe pas entreposer la batterie avec des objets métalliques cela pourrait
causer un court-circuit.
yCesser immédiatement d’utiliser la batterie si elle émet une odeur
inhabituelle, semble chaude, change de couleur, change de forme ou paraît
anormal.
yGarder hors de la portée des enfants.
CHARGER LA LAMPE
Avertissement : utiliser uniquement le chargeur fourni et le bloc-piles
rechargeable approuvé au lithium-ion Nightstick.
yLe temps requis pour charger la lampe 5560 dépend de la charge restante
dans le bloc-piles rechargeable au moment du chargement. Le temps
maximum de charge requis est d’une durée approximative de 6 heures.
yCharger complètement la lampe 5560 avant la première utilisation, ou si
la lampe 5560 n’a pas été utilisée pendant plusieurs mois.
yLorsque la lampe 5560 est bien installée dans le chargeur, le voyant
lumineux DEL passera au ROUGE continu indiquant ainsi que le bloc-piles
rechargeable au lithium-ion est en chargement. Le bloc-piles rechargeable
au lithium-ion est complètement chargé lorsque le voyant lumineux DEL
passe au VERT.
yLe bloc-piles rechargeable au lithium-ion ne dispose d’aucun effet de
mémoire. Par conséquent, placer la lampe 5560 dans le chargeur avant
la décharge complète de la pile n’affecte aucunement la durée de vie de la
pile. La lampe 5560 peut être installée dans le chargeur indéniment sans
affecter de façon négative la pile ou la durée de vie de la pile.
FONCTIONNEMENT
Le XPR-5560 dispose de 2 interrupteurs et de 6 modes de lumière
séparés:
yFaisceau concentré à haute luminosité
yFaisceau concentré à basse luminosité
yPhare lumineux à faisceau concentré
yFaisceau large à haute luminosité
yFaisceau large à mode survie
yÉclairage double (Modes à faisceau large et faisceau concentré en même
temps)
Modes à faisceau concentré
Pour activer le mode à faisceau concentré, appuyer et relâcher
l’interrupteur à faisceau concentré. Le mode d’éclairage par défaut sera
de basse luminosité. Appuyer sur l’interrupteur à faisceau concentré une
deuxième fois pour activer le mode d’éclairage à haute luminosité. Pour
activer le phare lumineux à faisceau concentré appuyer et maintenir le
bouton à faisceau concentré jusqu’à ce que le phare s’allume. Appuyer sur
l’interrupteur à faisceau concentré une troisième fois pour éteindre la lumière.
Modes à faisceau large
Pour activer le mode à faisceau large, appuyer et relâcher l’interrupteur
à faisceau large. Le mode d’éclairage par défaut sera de haute luminosité.
Pour activer le mode survie, appuyer une seconde fois sur l’interrupteur à
faisceau large. Appuyer sur l’interrupteur à faisceau large une troisième fois
pour éteindre la lumière.
Mode d’éclairage double
Le mode d’éclairage double permet à l’utilisateur d’activer le mode
d’éclairage à faisceau large et le mode d’éclairage à faisceau concentré (spot)
au même moment. Le mode d’éclairage double peut être activé en appuyant
simplement sur l’interrupteur à faisceau concentré et ensuite l’interrupteur
Low Battery Warning
The XPR-5560 has a Low Battery Warning feature. Once the battery
charge falls below 2.9V, the Spotlight LED will blink once every minute while
the light is on regardless of which of the 5 modes the 5560 is in at the time.
The Spotlight LED will continue to ash until the battery is fully depleted or
until the 5560 is recharged to have a remaining charge capacity greater than
2.9V. This warning feature is an indication that the 5560 should be charged
as soon as is possible. If the 5560 is off, no such warning will take place.
WARRANTY
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in
workmanship and materials for the original purchaser’s lifetime. The Limited
Lifetime Warranty includes the LEDs, housing and lenses. Rechargeable
batteries, chargers, switches, electronics and included accessories are
warranted for a period of two years with proof of purchase. Normal wear and
failures which are caused by accidents, misuse, abuse, faulty installation and
lightning damage are excluded.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be
defective. This is the only warranty, expressed or implied, including any
warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose.

faisceau concentré. Si la lampe 5560 est déjà en mode d’éclairage concentré
(spot) ou large (indépendamment du mode de luminosité), le fait d’appuyer
sur l’interrupteur pour l’éclairage qui N’EST PAS allumé activera le mode
d’éclairage double. L’utilisateur peut laisser le mode d’éclairage double
et revenir sur le mode d’éclairage concentré (spot) ou large en appuyant
simplement sur l’interrupteur pour le mode d’éclairage qu’il désire éteindre.
Pour éteindre les deux modes d’éclairage, appuyer simplement sur chaque
interrupteur indépendamment.
Avertissement de charge faible de la batterie

CARGAR LA LÁMPARA
ADVERTENCIA: Use sólo el cargador suministrado y el paquete de
PILAS de iones de litio recargables recomendado para la Nightstick.
yEl tiempo necesario para cargar la 5560 está condicionado a la carga
restante que queda en el paquete de la pila recargable de iones de litio
en el momento de la carga. El tiempo máximo de carga requerida es de
aproximadamente 6 horas.
yCargue completamente la 5560 antes del primer uso, o si la 5560 no se
ha utilizado durante varios meses.
yCuando la 5560 está colocada correctamente en el cargador, la luz LED
del indicador de carga se iluminará de color ROJO fuerte que indica que el

Modos del Proyector
Para activar el proyector, presione y suelte el interruptor del proyector. El
modo predeterminado será de bajo brillo. Pulse el interruptor del proyector
una segunda vez para activar el modo de alto brillo. Para activar el faro del
proyector, presione y mantenga presionado el botón del proyector hasta que
el faro se encienda. Presione el interruptor del proyector una tercera vez para
apagar la luz.
Modos del Reector
Para activar el reector, presione y suelte el interruptor del reector.
El modo predeterminado será de alto brillo. Para seleccionar el modo de
supervivencia, pulse el interruptor del reector una segunda vez. Presione el
interruptor del reector una tercera vez para apagar la luz.
Modo de Doble Luz
El Modo de Doble Luz permite al usuario encender tanto el Proyector como
el Reector al mismo tiempo. El Modo de Doble Luz se puede activar con
sólo presionar el interruptor del Proyector y luego el interruptor del Reector
o el interruptor del Reector y luego el interruptor de Proyector. Si la 5560 ya
tiene el foco del Proyector o del Reector encendido (independientemente
del modo de brillo en que este la luz), al pulsar el interruptor de la luz que no
está encendido, esto activará el modo de Doble Luz. El usuario puede salir
del modo de Doble Luz y volver al modo de Proyector o de Reector con
sólo presionar el interruptor para el modo que desea apagar. Para apagar
las dos luces, sólo tiene que pulsar cada uno de los interruptores de forma
independiente.
Advertencia de Baja Pila
La XPR-5560 tiene una función de aviso de baja pila. Una vez que la
carga de la pila cae por debajo de 2.9V, el Proyector LED parpadeará una
vez por minuto, mientras que la luz está encendida, independientemente
en cuál de los 5 modos esta la 5560 en ese momento. El Proyector LED
continuará parpadeando hasta que la pila este completamente agotada o
hasta que la 5560 se recargue hasta tener una capacidad de carga restante
superior a 2.9V. Esta función de advertencia es una indicación de que la
5560 se debe cargar tan pronto como sea posible. Si la 5560 está apagada,
