naturalsgasthat, is veryenvironmentallyfriendlybut alsocombustible.When
transportingandinstallingtheunitcaremustbetaken toensurethatnoneofthe
refrigerationcircuitcomponentsbecomedamaged.Intheeventofdamageavoid
nakedflamesorignitionsourcesand ventilatetheroomin whichthe unitisplaced
forafewminutes.
Warning: Keep ventilation openingsin applianceenclosureorin structureforbuilding
in,clearofobstruction.

Installationand Switching OnTheAppliance
•This applianceisconnectingto 220-240Vand50Hz.
•Youcanofferhelpfromthe servicetoinstallandswitchingontheappliancewithout
anycost.
•Beforemakingtheconnectiontothepowersupply,ensurethatthe voltageonthe
nameplatecorrespondstothevoltage ofelectricalsysteminyourhome.
•Ifthesocketdoesnotmatchtherefrigeratorplug,replacetheplugwithasuitable
one(atleast16A)
•Inserttheplugintoasocket with anefficient groundconnection. Ifthesockethasno
ground contact,wesuggestyoucallanelectricianforassistance.
•Manufacturerisnotresponsibleforfailuretocompletethegroundconnection as
describedinthisbooklet.
•Donotplacetheapplianceindirectsunlight.
•Donotuseinopenairandshall notbeexposedto therain.
•Place the refrigerator farfromheat sourcesand in a
well-ventilatedposition.Therefrigeratorshould beatleast50
cmfromradiators,gasorcoalstovesand5cmfarfromelectrical
stoves.
•Keep thetopfreefor at least15cm.
•Donotplaceheavyand lotsofthingsontheappliance.
•Iftheapplianceisinstallednextto anotherrefrigeratororfreezer,

water.Afterdryingreplacealltheaccessories.
BeforeSwitchingOn
•Waitafter3hoursbeforeplugging theapplianceinto themainpower
toensureproperperformance.
•Therecan beanodour when youfirst switchontheappliance. It will
disappearaftertheappliancestartstocool.

ThermostatSetting
FREEZERTHERMOSTAT REFRIGERATORTHERMOSTAT
Freezerand refrigeratorthermostatautomaticallyregulatestheinside temperatureof
thecompartments.Byrotating theknobfromposition1to5,coldertemperaturescanbe
obtained.Incoldseasons,youcansetlowerpositionsinorderto decreasetheenergy
consumption.
FreezerThermostatSetting;
1–2: Forshort-termstorageoffoodinthefreezercompartment,youcansetthe knob
between minimumand mediumposition.
3–4: Forlong-termstorageof food inthefreezercompartment,youcanset knob
mediumposition.
5:Forfreezingthefreshfood.Thappliancewillworklonger.Afteryougetthe cold
conditionyoumustpositiontoitsoriginal position.
RefrigeratorThermostatSetting;
1–2: Forlesscoldlyconditions.
3–4: Fornormalconditions.
5:Forcolderconditions.
•Notethat;theambienttemperature,temperatureofthe freshlystoredfoodandhow
oftenthe dooris opened, affectsthetemperature in the refrigeratorand freezer
compartment.Ifrequired, changethetemperaturesetting.
•Whenyoufirstswitch onthe appliance,for startingasuitable cooling,the appliance
should work24hourscontinuouslyuntilitcools downtosufficienttemperature.
•Inthistimedonot openthedoorsooftenand placealotof foodinside theappliance.
•Iftheunitis switchedoff orunplugged,youmustallowatleast5minutesbefore
restartingorre-plugged theunitinordernotto damagethecompressor.

•Fill the icetraywithwaterand placeinfreezer compartment.
•Afterthe watercompletelyturnedintoice,youcan twistthe trayasshownbelowtoget
the icecube.
Bottleholder
Inorder topreventthe bottlestosliporfalloveryoucan usethebottle
holder.You canalsopreventmakingnoisethatwillbedonewhenyou open
orclosethedoor.

•Bend thePartitiontowardleftfromthebottom

RefrigeratorCompartment
•Toset therefrigerator compartmentto2-3graphicbarwillbeenoughfornormal
conditions.
•Toreducehumidityandconsequentincreaseof frost neverplaceliquidsinunsealed
containersintherefrigerator.
•Neverplacewarmfoodin therefrigerator.Warmfoodshouldbeallowedtocoolat
roomtemperatureandshouldbearrangedtoensureadequateaircirculationinthe
refrigerator compartment.
•Arrangethe meat andcleanedfish (wrapped inpackagesor sheetsof plastic)which
youwill usein1-2days.
•Youcanputthefruitsandvegetablesinto crisperwithoutpacking.
FreezerCompartment
•Tosetthefreezercompartmentto2-3graphicbarwillbeenoughfornormalconditions.
•Theuseoffreezeris,storingofdeep-frozenorfrozenfoodsforlongperiodsof time
andmakingicecubes.
•Donotputfreshandwarmfoodsto thefreezerdoorshelvesto befrozen.Onlyuse
for storage offrozenfoods.
•Donotputfreshandwarmfoodwithfrozenfoodsidebysideasitcanthawthefrozen
food.
•Use thefast freezingshelf tofreezehomecooking(andthe foodswhichis wantedto
freeze)morequickly becauseofthefreezingroom’s greaterfreezingpower.
•Whilefreezing freshfoods(i.e.meat,fishandmincemeat)dividethemin partsyou

• When buying frozen foods ensurethat thesehavebeen frozen at suitable
temperaturesandthat thepackingis intact.

of the food andshouldbereturned tothefreezingsurfacesof theunitintheshortest
possibletime.
•Ifapackageoffrozenfoodshowsthesign ofhumidityandabnormal swellingitis
probablethatithasbeenpreviouslystoredat anunsuitabletemperatureand that
thecontentshavedeteriorated.
• Thestorage lifeoffrozenfoods dependsonthe roomtemperature,thermostat
setting,howoftenthedoorisopened,the type offoodandthelength oftimerequired
totransportthe productfromtheshoptoyourhome. Always followtheinstructions
printedonthepackageandneverexceedthe maximumstoragelifeindicated.

•Disconnectunitfromthe powersupplybeforecleaning.
•Donotcleantheappliancebypouringwater.
•Therefrigeratorand freezercompartmentshouldbe
cleanedperiodicallyusingasolution ofbicarbonateof
sodaandlukewarmwater
•Cleanthe accessoriesseparatelywithsoapandwater.
Donot cleantheminthewashingmachine.
•Donotuseabrasiveproducts, detergentsorsoaps.After
washing,rinsewithcleanwateranddrycarefully.When
thecleaningoperationshavebeen completed reconnect
the plug of theunitwithdryhands.
•Youshouldcleanthecondenserwithbroomatleastonce
ayearinordertoprovideenergysavingandincrease
theproductivity.

Defrosting
•Defrosting occursfullyautomaticallyduring
operation;thedefrostwateriscollectedbythe
evaporating trayandevaporatesautomatically.

INSTALLATIONPOSITION
•Theoriginalpackagesandfoamedpolystyrene (PS) canbeconcealedifrequired.
•Intransportationthe applianceshouldbe tied with awidestripeorastrongrope.
Theruleswrittenonthecorrugatedboxmustbeappliedwhiletransporting.
•Beforetransporting orchanging oldinstallationposition,allthemoving objects(i.e.,
shelves,crisper…)shouldbetaken outorfixedwithbandsinordertopreventthe
shake.
ReplacingTheRefrigeratorLightBulb
Refrigerator Light
1.Unplugtheunitfromthepowersupply,
2.Removethe refrigerator lightcover bypullingout firmly,
3.Changethepresent lightbulbwithanewoneofnot more
than15W.
4.Replacethelightcoverandafterwaiting5minutesplugthe
unit.
ChangingofDoorOpeningDirection
Incaseyou need tochange door-openingdirection,pleaseconsultthe domesticafter
salesservice.
