Setting Up Your Tablet
Follow these step-by-step instructions to set up your NUU Tab
8 Plus.
Power off the tablet before inserting any cards!
Warning:
SIM and microSD cards are small enough to become a choking
hazard, so please keep them away from children & pets. SIM and
microSD cards are also quite delicate. Please be careful when
handling them.
Uncover the SIM and SD Card Slots
• Gently pry the protective cover off the top edge of
the Tab 8 Plus. This can be done by hand; no tools
are needed.
• Two slots should be visible - the one closest to the
3.5” audio jack is for the SIM card, while the one
closest to the USB port is for the SD card.
Insert the SD Card (optional)
• The slot for the SD card is specifically for a Micro SD card.
• Before inserting the SD card, ensure that it is oriented correctly - the SD
card contacts should be facing in the same direction as the back of the
device, and the wider end of the card should be on the outside edge of
the slot when inserted.
• As the SD card is being inserted, ensure that it is pressed into the slot
far enough to engage the spring-loaded trap. If done successfully, the
SD card should remain secure and almost flush with the slot.
Insert the SIM Card (optional)
• Warning: The slot for the SIM card is specifically for a Micro SIM format.
Be careful not to insert a smaller Nano SIM without an adapter, or it could
become lost inside.
• Before inserting the SIM card, ensure that it is oriented correctly - the
SIM card contacts should be facing in the same direction as the back of
the device, and the cut corner of the SIM should be on the outside edge
of the slot when inserted.
• As the SIM card is being inserted, ensure that it is pressed into the slot
far enough to engage the spring-loaded trap. If done successfully, the
SIM card should remain secure and almost flush with the slot.
Finish
• Gently but firmly reposition the protective cover back into its place so
that it is entirely flush with the frame of the device.

Do not use your device if using the device is prohibited.
Do not use the device if doing so causes danger or interference with other electronic devices.
Interference with medical equipment
• Follow rules and regulations set forth by hospitals and health care facilities. Do not use your
device where prohibited.
• Some wireless devices may affect the performance of hearing aids or pacemakers. Consult
your service provider for more information.
• Pacemaker manufacturers recommend that a minimum distance of 15 cm be maintained
between a device and a pacemaker to prevent potential interference with the pacemaker. If
using a pacemaker, hold the device on the side opposite the pacemaker and do not carry
the device in your front pocket.
Protecting your hearing when using a headset

Cleaning and maintenance
• Keep the device and accessories dry. Do not attempt to dry it with an external heat source,
such as a microwave oven or hair dryer.
• Do not expose your device or accessories to extreme heat or cold. These environments may
interfere with proper function and may lead to fire or explosion.
• Avoid collision, which may lead to device malfunctions, overheating, fire, or explosion.
• Before you clean or maintain the device, stop using it, stop all applications, and disconnect
all cables connected to it.

Your wireless phone is a radio transmitter and receiver. It is designed and manufactured
not to exceed the emission limits for exposure to radiofrequency (RF) energy set by
the Federal Communications Commission of the U.S. Government. These limits are
part of comprehensive guidelines and establish permitted levels of RF energy for the
general population. The guidelines are based on standards that were developed
by independent scientific organizations through periodic and thorough evaluation
of scientific studies. The standards include a substantial safety margin designed to
assure the safety of all persons, regardless of age and health. The exposure standard
for wireless mobile phones employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific
Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1.6 W/kg. * Tests for SAR are
conducted with the phone transmitting at its highest certified power level in all tested
frequency bands. Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level,
the actual SAR level of the phone while operating can be well below the maximum
value. This is because the phone is designed to operate at multiple power levels so
as to use only the power required to reach the network. In general, the closer you
are to a wireless base station antenna, the lower the power output. Before a phone
model is available for sale to the public, it must be tested and certified to the FCC that
it does not exceed the limit established by the government adopted requirement for
safe exposure. The tests are performed in positions and locations (e.g., at the ear and
worn on the body) as required by the FCC for each model. The highest SAR value for
this model phone when tested for use at the ear is 0.143W/Kg and when worn on the
body, as described in this user guide, is 0.946W/Kg(Body-worn measurements differ
among phone models, depending upon available accessories and FCC requirements).
While there may be differences between the SAR levels of various phones and at
various positions, they all meet the government requirement for safe exposure. The
FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model phone with all reported
SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RFexposure guidelines. SAR
information on this model phone is on file with the FCC and can be found under the
Display Grant section of http://www.fcc.gov/ oet/fccid after searching on
FCC ID: 2ADINT0805L Additional information on Specific Absorption Rates (SAR) can
be found on the Cellular Telecommunications Industry Asso-ciation (CTIA) web-site
at http://www.wow-com.com. * In the United States and Canada, the SAR limit for
mobile phones used by the public is 1.6 watts/kg (W/kg) averaged over one gram
of tissue. The standard incorporates a sub-stantial margin of safety to give additional
protection for the public and to account for any variations in measurements.
Body-wornOperation
This device was tested for typical body-worn operations. To comply with RF exposure
requirements, a minimum separation distance of 0mm must be maintained between
the user’s body and the handset, including the antenna. Third-party belt-clips,
holsters, and similar accessories used by this device should not contain any metallic
components. Body-worn accessories that do not meet these requirements may not
comply with RF exposure requirements and should be avoided. Use only the supplied
or an approved antenna.
