INTRODUCTION
OhdioLab ALPHA is astylish business/sporty smartwatch that has multiple practical functions
and services for convenient use of your smartphone and some functions for your sports and
health as well.
ALPHA supports Bluetooth call, ECG heart rate monitoring, multi-sports modes, and much
more.Please read this manual to fully understand the operation of the product.This manual is
subject to change without prior notice.
ALPHA smartwatch is IP68-rated and can be worn in rain or when you are washing hands or
swimming.However, do not wear it when taking shower with warm water or having asauna
because it is not steam-proof.OhdioLab will not be responsible if the water enters the
smartwatch because of your failure to follow this manual.If there is water in the speaker hole,
swing it out to make the sound normal again.

SETTING UP
ALPHA can be set up easily by downloading ‘FunDo’ app onto your smartphone.
Step 1: Download ‘FunDo’
•Method 1:
Scan the QR code using your smartphone (you can also find the
same QR code on the smartwatch menu with the listing name ‘App’).
Select an app store you wish to install the app onto your phone.
•Method 2:
On your smartphone, go to your app store and search ‘FunDo’.
•Apple App Store for iPhone users
•Google Play for Android users
Install the app.
Step 2: Once ‘FunDo’is installed, open the app and continue to follow the on-screen
instructions to connect ALPHA to your smartphone.Choose ‘Agree’ for each permission
prompt during installation of the application.The smartwatch can realise all of its functions
after connected via both Bluetooth 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0.

Connection of Bluetooth 4.0:
After the app is installed, start it and enable the smartphone Bluetooth. The app will then give
a prompt to enable notification. Click ‘OK’. On the bottom menu, click ‘More’ to add a
new device . On your watch’s time interface, swipe down the status bar,
click the Bluetooth icon to enable Bluetooth. Search for ‘Smart Watch’ and click ‘Connect’
on your smartphone.
For some Android smartphones, the watch’s name can be searched after the GPS is enabled.
Connection of Bluetooth 3.0:
Enter the main menu of the smartwatch, search the desired Bluetooth device name under the
‘Bluetooth’ menu, choose ‘Enable Bluetooth’, click the desired smartphone Bluetooth, click ‘OK’
on the prompt of Bluetooth connection and click ‘Agree’ for prompt about each smartphone
permission.
Check Bluetooth connection:
On your watch’s time interface, swipe down the status bar. If the Bluetooth symbol in the pull-
down menu is green, it means that Bluetooth 4.0 has been connected; if it is blue, it means that
Bluetooth 3.0 has been connected; if it is blue in the upper part and green in the lower part, it
indicates that both Bluetooth 3.0 and Bluetooth 4.0 have been connected.

Notification setup:
On your smartphone, enter ‘Setting’, ‘Application management’, ‘FunDo’and ‘Permission
management’ sequentially and enable all the permissions there.
After that, enter ‘Notification management’ and ‘FunDo’sequentially and enable all the
permissions there.Start ‘FunDo’, choose ‘More’, ‘Application push notification’ and ‘Enable run
on background’ sequentially, enter the application management and choose ‘Unrestricted’.
Click ‘Back’.There will be aprompt about enabling automatic start again.Enable automatic
start.Click ‘Back’ and choose the APPs that you want to have synchronous notification (such
as QQ, WeChat, etc). The WeChat on your smartphone cannot receive notifications when its
web version is online at the same time.For some smartphones, ‘FunDo’needs to be added to
the power saving whitelist to avoid being killed on the background when the smartphone
battery is low.
Solution for failure of notification:
The notification of the smartwatch is synchronous with that on your smartphone (this applies
to notifications about messages, incoming calls, QQ messages or WeChat messages).
Therefore, if there is no such notifications on your smartphone, there will be no such
notifications on your smartwatch.The solution is entering ‘Setting’ and ‘Notification’ on your
smartphone, finding out the corresponding Apps and enabling their notification.

Troubleshooting:
Different smartphones probably have different Bluetooth protocols and this may result in
unstable Bluetooth connection between the smartphone and the smartwatch.To solve this
problem, disable and enable the Bluetooth of your smartphone, or restore the defaults of the
smartwatch.If the smartwatch has crashed, press its power button to restart it.

CHARGING
1. Connect the supplied charging cable into aUSB power supply or certified wall charger.
2. Hold the other end of the charging cable near the port on the back of the watch until it
attaches magnetically.Make sure the pins on the charging cable align with the port on
the back of your watch.
•It takes about 2.5 hours to fully charged.

Keep the two contacts of the charging cable from conductive objects
to avoid burn because of short-circuit.

BASIC NAVIGATION
Power button:
Long press it to power on or off the
smartwatch.Press it shortly to go back to the standby
page.If the smartwatch has crashed, press this button for
10 seconds to restart it.
Back button:
Press it shortly to return to the previous
menu.
TP gestures:
Swipe right on the screen to enter the heart
rate mode.Swipe left to enter the main menu.When in a
function, swipe right to go back or left to enter the next
menu.
Dial switching:
Adial selection page will appear after the
time page is long pressed.Choose the desired dial and
click ‘OK’.
Status bar:
Swipe down on the standby page to show the
Bluetooth connectivity status, battery level, time, etc.

Messages
For synchronizing the messages on your smartphone (not applicable to iOS devices).
Phone Book
For synchronizing the contacts on your smartphone.
Call Logs
For synchronizing the call history on your smartphone.
Dial
For making phone calls using your smartphone from the smartwatch.
ECG (Electrocardiogram)
With help of the optical heart rate technology, the smartwatch can get your
electrocardiogram about tens of seconds later. After the measurement, letters ‘ToAPP’ will
appear on the screen and the electrocardiogram will be saved on the ‘FunDo’ app on your
smartphone. You can share your electrocardiograms to others for purpose of reference.

Pedometer
Records your step number, calorie consumption and walking distance of each day. Data
recorded will be saved and reset every midnight 12am.
Swipe up on the screen to enter the page with options including
•‘Status’ –including ‘Enable’ and ‘Disable’
•‘Previous Records’ –including the local previous records of the previous days
•‘Goal’ –for setting the step number to achieve for each day
•‘Personal information’ –for entering your gender, height, weight, and other
information for more accurate exercise data
Sports
Click to enter the multi-exercise mode. Choose an exercise and click on the screen to start
exercising. For each exercise, there are data about duration, calorie consumption, step
number, etc. When you want to pause or stop the exercise, click on the screen and choose
correspondingly.

Blood Oxygen Monitoring
Press ‘OK’ to enter the blood oxygen monitoring page. Blood oxygen (SPO2H) refers to the
oxygen in one’s blood (usually 94% to 99%).
BT Camera
When your smartphone is not locked, the smartwatch will enter the mode of photographing
through Bluetooth and your smartphone will enter the photographing page. Click the
smartwatch to take a photo. The photos taken will be saved on your smartphone.
Blood Pressure
When in blood pressure measurement, put one of your arm flatwise. The smartwatch can get
your blood pressure about 48 seconds later. Usually, older people have higher blood
pressures than younger people and men have higher blood pressures than women.

Sleep Monitoring
The smartwatch records the duration and quality of your sleep from 9 p.m. to 9 a.m. to help
you adjust your work time and rest time to improve your sleep quality.
Swipe up on the screen to enter the page with options including
•‘Status’ –including ‘Enable’ and ‘Disable’
•‘Previous Records’ –including the deep sleep duration and light sleep duration
•‘Help’ –containing detailed directions for use
Heart Rate Monitoring
Make the smartwatch fit the wrist well. It would be the best to wear it at the wrist bone’s part
close to the arm to get your real-time heart rate (usually 80-90 times per minute). After the
start symbol at the lowest position is clicked, the smartwatch will begin to display
‘Measuring…” and get your heart rate about 20 seconds later. Swipe down on the screen to
enter the page with options to view the previous heart rates.

BT Music
For playing music on your smartwatch via Bluetooth from your smartphone.
Notification
You can view your notifications through this function after connecting the smartwatch with
the ‘FunDo’ app on your smartphone.
Sedentary
You can set a maximum sitting duration for the smartwatch to remind you to get moving
upon the maximum sitting duration.
BT Call
When paired with your smartphone, you can answer your phone call and talk to your caller
through the smartwatch.
Themes
There are three standby backgrounds to choose from.

Calendar
For a quick access to view calendar.
Flashlight
Turns on the screen to the brightest to provide some light in the darkness.
Stopwatch
For timekeeping of one or multiple times.
Calculator
For simple calculation.
App
Displays a QR code for you to download the ‘FunDo’ app by scanning it using your
smartphone.

Language
The function of automatic synchronization is enabled automatically, so the language on the
smartwatch will be synchronized according to that on your smartphone after the smartwatch
is connected with your smartphone. To choose the language manually, disable this function.
Find Device
You can click ‘Search’ on the smartwatch to find your smartphone. In this case, the
smartphone will sound an alarm. You can also search the smartwatch with the related app on
your smartphone, and your smartwatch will sound an alarm.
Alarm
You can set up to 5 alarms or long press the screen to delete an alarm.
World Clock
Display the current local time and date around the world.

TIPS
•Please read all instructions and warnings before using the product.
•Avoid overcharging the smartwatch to preserve battery health.
•Remove the magnetic charger from the USB power source when you are not charging.
•For optimal tracking, wear the tracker on your non-dominant hand, about 2cm above your
wrist.
•Avoid wearing smartwatch for intense physical actions including knocking, throwing,
trampling on and squeezing, etc.
