INSTRUCTIONS
General decscription
The Premium-Line Water pump will lift a large volume of water and functions from 3 to 12 Volts. Place in the pump in a at
transparent container of water with water covering the turbine housing but not touching the motor. The outlet water pipe
can be arranged so the pumped water ows back into the container. The transparent nature of any holder allows the function
of the pump to be observed.
The construction proccess includes marking out, drilling and assembly. This kind of pump is known as a centrifuge type .In
this model a turbine connected to a motor turns inside a closed housing .The water enters the housing through a hole and is
accelerated by the turbine to the outside through a tube. Where as in the water tube a high pressure exists in the pump entry
is a low pressure.
It is important that no air bubbes form in the turbine housing - they will have to be removed by suction.
Housing cover and motor holder
Because the three acrylic plates must t exactly over each other
they should all be drilled at the same time.
Lay the acrylic plates A, B and C on top of each other and x
them together with sellotape or masking tape and drill the
holes as descirbed in Dia 1
Drilling the xing holes in the housing and middle
Fix the three acrylic plates together with sellotape.
Place the plates in a machine vice and drill the ve 3mm holes
Dril the holes with a pilar drill. Placing a piece of plywood un-
derneath the acrylic will make an even surface to drill on

Tape the acrylic plates C and B with tape, mark the hole for
thePVC tube=6mm, straw= 5mm, drill tgether
Hole for inlet hole and motor
To nish tape the plates C and A together and drill the middle
hole 6,5mm
Hole for the motor xing
2 Drill the ø 3,5 mm in the motor xing plate C.

Turbine chamber and turbine
The acrylic sheet tube piece (3) must be at witout any uneven
place on the surface otherwise the prrssure will not build. Rub
the surface smooth so that it is at.
Note:
When rubbing down make sure that you do it evenly!

INSTRUCTIONS
Assembling the water pump
1. Strar with the acrylic plate (A) and insert the 4 machine screws (10) up through the holes in the cor-
ners, as shown in diagram 3.
2. Asemble the turbine housing
(3) as shown using the machi-
ne screws.
The assembly must be ac-
curate otherwise the pump
may not work at a later stage
or the turbine will rub on the
sides! (see dia.4)
3. Insert the brass rod (7) throughthe middle hole in
the acrylic plate and then add the silicon tube (8)on
the other side. The acrylic sheet (B) with the turbine
facing down on the four xing screws (10). (see dia 5)
Note!
The shaft must not stick. The shaft must turn easily in
the hole! If necessary drill out the hole to 3.1mm.
4. Set the distance tubes (6)
on the machine screws (10) (
see dia.6 )

5. Mount the motor (5) with the screws (11) on the
acrylic plate, (C)
Note:
The motor shaft must be able to turn freely

6. Set the acrylic plate (C) with the motor at the top on the
xing screws (10) so the 6mm holes on plate B+C lie on
top of each other. Join the motor shaft with the silicon
tube (8) (see dia.8)
Note:
Adjust the turbine so that it does not rub on the housing!

7. Place the nuts (12) on the xing screws and then tighten (see dia. 9)
Note
Do not overtighten the nuts so that the turbine housing ( A+B) otherwise the housing can
deform and the pressure escape sideways. Make sure the turbine is central in the housing !

9. Thread the PVC-tube (9) through the free hole in the hole in the acrylic plate (C) insert it in the hole in acylic plate (B).
Fix it with an all puropse glue, alternatively use the drinking straw and bend (da =5mm ).
Adjust the length of the tube as necessary !
Use a 4.5 volt battery (4,5 V) and then place the pump in a at water container, so that the turbine housing is underneath the
water level.
The water will enter upwards through the silicon tube! Should there be a
problem with the turbine or the silicon tube etc the turbine chamber must be re-adjusted
Note:
The turbine must not rub on the housing The motor shaft must also be free.
All these points must be tested before the water pump is connected to the battery/ power source
