1. RemovetheBatteryCover
Withthedeviceturnedoff,placeyourLY‐90MTwith
thefrontfacingdown.Usetheminiscrewdriverto
removethetwoscrewstoreleasethebackcover.Lift
upthebackcoverfromthenotchatthebottomofthe
device.
2. InserttheSIMCard
PlacetheSIMcardintothedevicewiththe
gold‐coloredsidefacingdown.
Note:makesurethereisenoughcreditontheSIM
card.ItisalsoimportantthattheSIMcardhasCalledID
Displayfunction.IfyouwilluseGPRSfunction,you
shouldpayattentiontothecurrentSIMcardGPRS
charge.
3. InserttheMicroSDCard
InserttheMicroSDcardintotheslotwithitsgold
contactsfacingdownandpushituntilitclicksinto
place.
4. InserttheBattery
Insertthecontactssideofthebatteryfirstandthen
gentlypushthebatterycoverintoplace.
Note:batteryperformancedependsonmanyfactors,
includingsignalstrength,thetemperatureofthe
environmentinwhichyouoperateyourphone,the

Thebatteryispartiallychargedwhenshipped.Before
usingthedeviceforthefirsttime,it’srecommended
thatyouchargethebatteryfor8hours.Connectone
endoftheUSBcabletothedevice,andtheotherend
oftheUSBcabletotheUSBportoftheACadapter.
Pleasechargethebatteryfor8hoursforthefirsttime
byturningoffthedevice.
Note:whilecharging,thedevicemayheatup.Thisis
normalandshouldnotaffectyourdevice’slifespanor
performance.Ifthebatteryislow,itmayaffectthe
positioningeffectanddatatransfer.Pleasechargethe
batterybeforeusing.
6. ChargewiththeTravelAdapter
Openthecoverofthemultifunctionjackofthedevice.
Plugthesmallendoftheadapterintothe
multifunctionjack.Thenplugthelargerendofthe
traveladapterintoapoweroutlet.
Note:improperlyconnectingthetraveladaptercan
causeseriousdamagetothedevice.Anydamage

7. AttachALanyard
Slidethelanyardthroughtheslotandhookitoverthe
smallprojection.
Onceyou’veinstalledyourbattery,SIMcardandMicroSDcard,youcanturnonyourdeviceandstartusingit.
Whenyouturnonthedeviceforthefirsttime,youwillbepromotedtosetyourdevice.Formoreinformationon
howtosetyourdevice,pleasereadthefollowinginstructions.
7. QuickOperationInstruction
Operationtips:toproperlyusetheLY‐90MT,commonparametersshouldbesetinadvancebeforeinitialuse.This
canbedonebyusingtheparametereditororbysendingSMScommandstothedevice.Doingsowilladaptthe
