Antes da primeira utilização da sua Fiambreira Orima, por favor certifique-se de que lê
cuidadosamente as instruções de funcionamento e recomendações de segurança e
familiarizar-se completamente com as funções do aparelho É fácil seguir as ilustrações

Modo correcto de utilização
Este aparelho destina-se exclusivamente para cortar alimentos domésticos normais O
alimento a ser cortado deve ser descongelado, desembalado e retirados os ossos que
possam ser cortados no aparelho Qualquer outro uso ou modificação do equipamento
deve ser considerado como uso indevido e pode dar origem a perigos consideráveis

Regras Importantes de Segurança:
1 A sua Fiambreira Orima deve ser ligada a uma corrente de 220V-240V AC
2 Desligue-a sempre primeiro da corrente antes de a limpar ou quando terminar a sua
utilização Para desligá-la da corrente nunca puxe pela ficha, sempre directamente da
tomada
3 Somente para uso doméstico Nunca mergulhe o aparelho em água e não exponha o
mesmo à chuva ou humidade Se o aparelho entrar em contacto com água, desligue-o
primeiro da corrente e só depois o retire da água Só deverá utilizar novamente o
aparelho depois do mesmo ser visto por um Técnico Qualificado
4 Não use a Fiambreira com as mãos molhadas ou se estiver em pé sobre um piso
molhado Não utilize o aparelho se verificar que este se encontra molhado

14 Se o cabo de alimentação estiver danificado, deverá ser substituído por um Técnico

Antes da Primeira Utilização
Retire o aparelho cuidadosamente da embalagem Remova todo o material de embalagem
e mantenha-o todo junto com a caixa Limpe o aparelho antes de o mesmo entrar em
contacto com qualquer alimento (Consulte a secção intitulada “Limpeza”)
Instalação
Conselhos de Segurança específicos sobre a localização do aparelho.
1 Nunca instale o aparelho em uma superfície quente, ou perto de aparelhos que
produzam calor
2 Certifique-se de que o cabo de alimentação não passa por cima de objectos quentes ou
afiados
3 Não permita que o cabo de alimentação se dobre, fique preso ou se enrole em torno do
aparelho
♦ Instale a Fiambreira em uma superfície plana, anti-derrapante e perto de uma tomada
eléctrica
♦ Desenrole o comprimento necessário do cabo de alimentação e insira a ficha na
tomada
♦ Empurre o suporte (5) na mesa deslizante (4)

Conselhos de Segurança específico para corte e funcionamento do aparelho
1 Nunca toque na lâmina durante o seu funcionamento! Muito perigoso!
2 Utilize sempre o suporte (5) (excepto, talvez, para alimentos muito grandes) Pressione
a peça de alimento a ser cortado à frente utilizando o suporte (5)
3 Utilize a sua Fiambreira Orima apenas para cortar alimentos domésticos normais e não
para outros fins Não o utilize para cortar alimentos congelados, ossos, alimentos com
caroços grandes ou para cortar alimentos embalados
4 Nunca utilize o aparelho por mais de 10 minutos contínuos
5 Cuidado! A lâmina (3) continua a rodar após o aparelho ser desligado
6 Por razões de Segurança a espessura de corte deverá ser posicionada para “0” após a
sua utilização
Funcionamento
Ligue o interruptor para a posição “ON”, a lâmina inicia o seu funcionamento Para parar o
funcionamento contínuo: Mova o interruptor rapidamente para a posição “OFF” e espere
até que a lâmina de corte pare por completo

Definir a espessura de corte
A espessura do corte pode ser ajustada para valores entre 0 e approx 15mm Defina a
espessura da fatia desejada com o botão (7) As definições sobre a escala não
correspondem com a espessura de corte em mm Por razões de Segurança, a lâmina está
posicionada no”0”
Coloque o alimento a ser cortado na mesa de alimentação deslizante, pressione o alimento
a ser cortado com a peça (4) levemente contra o suporte alimentar (8) Ligue o aparelho e,
ao mesmo tempo pressionando levemente o alimento a ser cortado para a frente, guie-o
ao longo da lâmina de corte (3) Depois de usar a fiambreira coloque novamente para a
posição “0” de modo a que a lâmina afiada fique coberta A lâmina (3) é idealmente
apropriada para o corte de fatias muito finas
Para salvaguardar os seus dedos use sempre o suporte (5) e a mesa deslizante (4)
(excepto, talvez, quando cortar pedaços grandes de alimentos)
Limpeza
Conselhos de Segurança importantes para a limpeza da sua Fiambreira Orima
1 Antes de começar a limpar o aparelho, desligue-o da corrente e coloque a placa de
suporte de alimentos para a posição “0”
2 Não mergulhe a Fiambreira na água
3 Perigo!!! A Lâmina de corte é muito afiada!
É necessário limpar o aparelho em intervalos regulares pois os restos de alimentos
perecíveis podem se acumular na lâmina ou atrás da mesma Retire o suporte da peça
e limpe-o com água morna e detergente líquido (não as coloque na máquina de lavar
louça) Limpe a mesa de alimentação (1) com um pano ligeiramente húmido Não use
produtos de limpeza abrasivos, esfregões ou escovas duras
Como retirar a Lâmina
Gire a peça de bloqueio no centro da lâmina no sentido dos ponteiros do relógio, em
seguida, puxe a lâmina Ao retirar a lâmina certifique-se que está a segurá-la pelo centro
da mesma Lave-a com a mão em água morna com um pouco de detergente líquido (não a
lave na máquina de lavar louça) Limpe a caixa atrás da lâmina com um pano seco ou um
pincel macio

Slicer-Operating Instructions
Before using the slicer for the first time please make sure to read carefully and thoroughly
through these operating instructions and the safety advice and familiarize yourself
completely with the functions of the device .You will find it useful to open out the page
showing the figures illustrating the slicer and its operation. Be careful to keep these notes
and if necessary pass them on to a third party.
Proper use
This device is intended exclusively for slicing normal household foods. The food to be
sliced must be thawed, unpacked and free from bones before it can be sliced in the device.
Any other use or modification to the e uipment shall be considered as improper use and
could give rise to considerable dangers.

Important safety rules
1. The slicer must be connected to a 220V-240V AC electricity supply only.
2. Always pull the plug out of the socket before you clean the slicer or if it becomes faulty
or when you have finished using it .To disconnect the device from the electricity supply,
never pull the plug out using the mains lead, always pull directly on the plug.
3. Indoor use only. Never immerse the device in water and do not expose the device to
rain or moisture .If the device should fall into water first pull the plug out of the socket
and only then remove the device from the water. Afterwards have the slicer examined
by an authorized service center before you use it again.
4. Do not use the slicer if your hands are wet or if you are standing on a wet floor. Do not
use the slicer if it is wet or moist.
5. The slicer is designed exclusively for domestic use and not for commercial purposes.
6. Set up and store the slicer out of reach of children.
7. Do not leave the slicer unattended if it can be switched on and operated.
8. Always ensure that the slicer is safely set up or installed before you start to use it
9. The slicer should always be used with the sliding feed table and piece holder in position,
unless this is not possible due to the size or shape of the food. Do not use the slicer to
slice through bones or deep-frozen food.
10. Do not use the slicer if it is damaged in any way. Have the slicer immediately repaired at
an authorized service center or other suitably ualified repairer.
11. Use the slicer with the supplied accessories only.

12. No claims under the guarantee or liability for damages will be accepted if they result
from improper or incorrect use of the slicer.
13. Swith off the slicer before removing knife or approaching it during using.
14. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly ualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Before first use
Take the slicer carefully out of its packaging. Remove all the packaging material and keep it
together with the packaging. Clean the slicer before it comes into contact with any food
(refer to the section headed ’Cleaning’)
Setting up the slicer
Specific safety advice on the location of the slice
1. Never set the slicer up on a hot surface or near an open flame.
2. Make sure that the mains lead does not pass over hot or sharp –edged objects
3. Do not allow the mains lead to become kinked or trapped and do not wind it around the
slicer.
♦ Set up the slicer on a flat, non-slip surface close to an electrical socket.
♦ Unwind the re uired length of mains lead; Insert the plug into the mains socket.

Slicing
Specific safety advice for slicing and for handling the slicer
1. Never touch the blade when the slicer is operating! Danger of injury!
2. Always use the piece holder (except perhaps for very large pieces of food). Press the
piece of food to be sliced forward using the piece holder.
3. Use the slicer only for slicing normal household foods and not other purposes. Do not
use the slicer for slicing deep-frozen foods, bones, foods with large kernels or for slicing
packaged foods.
4. Never use the slicer for more than 10 minutes continuously.
5. The cutting blade

continues to rotate after the slicer has been switched off.
6. For reasons of safety the slice thickness must be returned to the “0” setting after use.
Running the slicer
Pushing the switch to “ON”, the cutting blade runs. Stopping continuous operation: Move
the switch uickly into the “OFF” position and wait until the cutting blade comes to a
complete standstill.
Setting the slice thickness
The slice thickness can be set to between 0 and approx.15mm. Set the re uired slice
thickness using the knob

. The settings on the scale do not correspond with the slice
thickness in mm. For safety reasons the blade is covered in setting”0”.
Place the food to be sliced on to the sliding feed table, press the food to be sliced with the

. Switch the device on and, whilst lightly
pressing the food to be sliced forward, guide it along the cutting blade

slicer always set the food support plate into the “0” setting so that the sharp blade is
covered. The cutting blade

is ideally suitable for cutting wafer-thin slices of cold cuts of
boiled ham .
To safeguard your fingers always use the sliding feed table

Cleaning
Important safety advice for cleaning the slicer
1. Before starting to clean the slicer, switch it off, pull the plug out of the mains socket and
set the food support plate into the “0”setting.
2. Do not immerse the slicer in water.
3. Danger of injury: the cutting blade is very sharp!
It is necessary to clean the slicer at regular intervals as perishable food scraps could
accumulate on the slicer or behind the cutting blade
.Remove the piece holder and
clean it in warm water and washing –up li uid (not in the dishwasher). Wipe the
housing

and sliding feed table using a slightly damp cloth. Do not use any cleaning
powders, scouring pads or hard brushes.
Removing the cutting blade
Rotate the locking piece in blade center clockwise, then pull out the blade when taking out
the blade make sure that you handle it by the center. Wash it by hand in warm water with a
little washing-up li uid (not in the dish washer!). Clean the housing behind the blade with a
dry cloth or a soft brush.
