Important Safety Information
Read all of the instructions before using this appliance and
keep safe for future reference.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions
should always be followed, including the following:
This appliance is for domestic use only. Do not use
outdoors or on wet surfaces.
Do not handle the plug or appliance with wet hands.
Do not immerse the main body in water.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved.
Children must not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children unless they are older than 8 and supervised.
Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children
less than 8 years.
This product is not a toy.
Do not use the appliance if any parts appear to be faulty,
missing or damaged.
Do not leave the appliance unattended when connected to
the mains supply.
Always unplug from the mains supply before carrying out
any cleaning, performing user maintenance.
Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or
damaged in any way.
Check to ensure that the electricity supply matches that
shown on the rating plate.
Only use the attachments/accessories supplied with the
product or recommended by Giani.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
qualified service agent in order to avoid a hazard.

Only use this appliance for its intended domestic use.
Giani Ltd will not accept any liability if the appliance is
subject to improper use, or failure to comply with these
instructions.
Keep the appliance and its power supply cord away from
heat or sharp edges that could cause damage.
Keep the power supply cord away from any parts of the
appliance that may become hot during use.
Always locate the appliance away from the edge of the
work top.
Do not disconnect the appliance from the mains power
supply by pulling the cord,
switch it off and remove the plug by hand.
Do not store in direct sunlight or high humidity conditions.
Do not move the appliance when it is in use.
Do not touch any parts of the appliance that may become
hot as this could cause injury.
The surface of the appliance may get hot during operation.
Do not cover the appliance during use or until the unit has
fully cooled after use.
Always ensure the appliance has cooled fully after use
before performing any cleaning or user maintenance or
storing away.
Use of an extension cord with the appliance is not recom-
mended.
This appliance should not be operated by means of an
external timer or separate remote control system.
Keep the appliance away from flammable materials.

2.Wipetheplateswithadampclothorspongetoremoveanydust.Wipedrywith
asoftcloth.
3.Placetheapplianceonaflatworktopnexttoaworkingmainspower socket,leaving
enoughspacebetweenthebackofunitandthewalltoallowtheheattoflow
withoutdamaginganysurroundingareassuchascupboardsorwalls.
4.Plugtheapplianceintothemainspower socket.
5.Tosetthetemperature,turnthetemperaturedialontheapplianceinaclockwise
directionuntilyoureachtherequiredtemperature.
6.Turnthetimerdial,ontheappliance,inaclockwisedirectiontoselectthe
requiredcookingtime.
7.Yourappliancewillbegintopreheat.Theindicatorlightwillilluminategreenafter
3-5minutestoindicatethattheapplianceisnowreadytouse.Donottouchany
ofthepreheatedcookingsurfaceareasasthesewillbeextremelyhot!
8.Ifrequired,addasmallamountofcookingoiltotheplates.
9.Addyourpizzatothepanandclosethelid.

10. For a freshly made pizza, allow 12-15 minutes to cook depending on the
thickness of the dough being used. For a frozen pizza, allow 15-20 minutes
depending on the thickness of the dough being used.
11. When the timer reaches zero, your pizza will be ready and the plates will no
longer continue heating.
12. To remove the pizza, use a plastic/silcone spatula or wooden utensils. Avoid
using anything metal to remove the pizza as this can damage the non-stick
coating.
13. Unplug the appliance from the mains socket and allow to cool fully before
cleaning the appliance.
CAUTION: Steam may be released from the appliance/plates while cooking. Caution
should be taken to prevent hands and face coming into contact with the
steam.
How to Open the Grill 180 Degrees
(To use both sides at once as an open griddle cooking area)
1. Open the lid at a 45 angle as shown in fig (1).
2. Lift the catch up, located within the hinge as shown in fig (1).
3. Push the top plate back to lie flat at a 180 angle as shown in fig (2).
4. The appliance will now be at a 180 angle as shown in fig (3).

Cooking Time Table
Note: This table is used as a guideline only.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Important: unplug and allow the appliance to cool before carrying out any cleaning
and maintenance. Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquids.
1. Clean the lid, base and cooking plates using a soft damp cloth with a non-abrasive
soap or dishwashing detergent.
2. Dry with a dry towel or leave to dry naturally.
Storing Your Pizza Maker
1. Store the appliance away in a clean, cool, dry place.
2. Never store the appliance away while it is still hot or plugged in.
3. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance.
