zDo not install the camera in a water-splashed or highly humid environment.
zDo not use the camera where the ambient temperature drops below 0° C or rises above +50° C. The
images and component parts may be adversely affected or the camera may not function correctly.
zNever open the camera case because there are precision electrical and electronic components inside
and an accident may results.
zDo not put anything metallic or any other foreign substances through the vent, as a fire or electric
shock may result.
zBe sure to turn off the power before installing or making connections.
zDo not install the camera in places exposed to heat, vibrations and shock.
zBe careful not to drop or give a strong shock to the camera while transporting it.
zDo not touch the image sensor.
zDo not orientate the camera directly towards the sun.
zSome types of lenses may hunt in adverse light conditions. In such cases please re-adjust the lens in
line with the instructions in the manual.
zBecause of the characteristics of the digital image device, images may look unnatural at high
temperatures, this does not mean the camera is faulty.
This HD CCTV Camera is provided with a High performance 1/2.5 inch 2.2M CMOS sensor. The
camera features a built-in optical 10x zoom lens (1/3.6” f=4.5~45.0mm, f1.8~2.2) high resolution, and
is equipped with digital DAY/NIGHT function, intelligent back-light compensation by which you can
achieve proper Back Light Compensation, Crystal controlled internal sync lock system, Various
modes of convenient Automatic while balancing, mirror image, camera setup and control is also
possible locally using a remote controller, or remote via RS-232C and this setup data is stored in the
built-in non-volatile memory. The camera is best suited for HD CCTV surveillance purposes, from
single camera operation to large scale integrated systems for visual information management.

4. FEATURES
1 HD-SDI OUTPUT
This camera outputs and HD-SDI signal featuring resolutions of 1080/25p, 30p, 50i, 60i or
720/30p, 50p, 60p SMPTE 292M standard.
2 MULTI OUTPUT MODEL (CHDC-22SDHSC)
It has outputs of HD-SDI, Composite, S-Video, HDMI, and YPbPr Component.
3 NTSC / PAL OUTPUT

4 DAY / NIGHT FUNCTION
This camera delivers high quality color images during the day. As light diminishes below a
certain level, the camera can automatically switch to night mode to make use of near-infrared
(IR) light to deliver high-quality, black and white images.
5 BACK LIGHT COMPENSATION
Well-designed BLC, back light compensation, facility is provided which can assign a
compensation area for back light compensation to have an optimum balanced clear picture
reproduction.
6 DIGITAL EFFECT FUNCTION
This output video can be selected in either normal, negative, solarization, pasteurization, or
sephia, monochrome.
7 AUTOMATIC OR MANUAL WHITE BALANCE
In addition to the Auto white balance, this camera provide manually adjustment of x-value / y-
value.
8 AUTO SLOW SHUTTER
ON / OFF is provided
9 MIRROR IMAGE
This flips the image horizontally or vertically.

loop connection is made.

6. OPERATION

1. USER SETUP
The camera has a remote controller as standard to set up and various picture quality setups, back light
compensation, Day/Night for optimum reproduction.
The SETUP can be easily executed using the On-Screen-Menu system. Alteration of these function may
be needed for some installations and we recommend that you should spend some time to become
acquainted with these functions so that the best results can be obtained from this high performance HD
CCTV camera.

6-3-3. BACK LIGHT
This ON / OFF of Back Light Compensation. This should be ON when the object becomes dark due to
highlight background.

You can select the image at Normal, Negative, Solarization, Pasteurization, Monochrome, or sepia color.

Due to your environmental scene, you may need to set up this function like MODE ODD, High colo

6-3-6. FLICKERNESS
If you see a flicker on the screen, please use this function and select ON, ON (50Hz fixed) or ON (60Hz
fixed).
6-3-7. WHITE BALANCE
You may select Manual, Auto, (Tungsten, Fluorescent D, Fluorescent N, Fluorescent W, Shade or Cloudy)
When selected “MANUAL”, you may need to select X/Y values.
6-3-8. NOISE REDUCTION
You may select Low, Middle (default) or High.
6-3-9. AUTO SLOW SHUTTER
It can be selected ON or OFF (default).
6-3-10. IMAGE STABILIZER
It can be selected ON (default) or OFF.
6-3-11. MIRROR
This function is to reverse top and bottom or left and right.

Color of OSD menu (Title, Menu, Sub menu or select) can be changed to WHITE, CYAN, MAZEN
(Magenta), BLUE, YELLOW, GREEN RED, DGRAY (Dark Gray), GRAY, DCYAN, (Dark Cyan), DMAZE
(Dark Magenta), DBLUE (Dark Blue), DYELL (Dark Yellow), DGREEN (Dark Green), BLACK, TRANS
(Transparency).
6-3-14. OSD AUTO DISAPPEAR
You can select Disable or Enable for OSD auto disappear function
6-3-15. SERIAL ID
You can set your ID (number 1 ~ 7) and Baud rate (default is 19200). Please visit
