WARNING: KEEP ALL FLAME AND HEAT SOURCES AWAY FROM THIS TENT FABRIC
This tent is made of ame-resistant fabric. It is not reproof. The fabric will burn if le in connuous con-
tact with a ame or other heat source. Failure to keep all ame and heat sources away
from this tent can result in a re that can burn, injure, or kill you.
Ensure adequate venlaon inside your tent at all mes.
This tent y is coated with a highly reecve layer of aluminium. Do not look directly at bright reec-
ons of sunlight or other strong light sources. Always wear good quality sunglasses or similar appropri-
ate eye protecon when seng up and using this tent. If reecon from your tent is causing inconven-
ience to other people it is recommended to cover the poron of the y that is causing the reecon with
a non-reecve, lightweight fabric. For example, white camo-neng is ideal. Aach the fabric to secure
points such as guy-out loops and ground stakes using suitable rope or cord.
NEVER use any kind of tape or adhesive to aach anything to the y. This may seriously damage the
aluminium coang.
NEVER store your tent wet or damp. This can lead to premature breakdown of the fabrics and coangs.
If it is raining during your camp strike, fully setup the tent as soon as you get home and allow to dry thor-
oughly.
NEVER force the poles when seng up or taking down your tent. If a pole is snagged, adjust the fabric
and carefully work your way through the snag.
NEVER force the zippers. Be kind to the zips and they will reward you with longer tent life.
AVOID contact with sharp or abrasive objects/surfaces as they may damage the fabric. The reecve
aluminium coang may scratch or abrade if mistreated. When packing the tent it is recommended to fold
the fabric inwards such that the reecve side of the y does not drag on the ground.
ALWAYS fold and roll your tent up when packing. Don’t ‘scrunch’ it up as this will cause unnecessary
wear and tear.

The Siesta4 is supplied with the inner tent already clipped into the y. This makes for quickest setup, but
it is recommended to use two people so as to avoid unnecessary stress on poles. If you intend to setup
with one person in future, we recommend leaving the inner tent unclipped when you pack the tent way.
1. Lay the tent out at and evenly with the reecve y facing upwards and the black oor fabric
against the ground.
2. Adjust the y fabric so that the black pole sleeves of the dome form an X, and are as straight as pos-
sible.
3. Assemble the poles and lay them to one side. Idenfy the two longest poles.
4. Insert the two longest poles through the black pole sleeves of the dome. Always push the pole gen-
tly. Don’t pull or force.
5. Keeping the poles at, clip one end of each pole into the grommet in each corner. Use the grommet
nearest the centre for the dome poles.
6. Posion one person at the other end of each pole and locate the corner strap.
7. Push both poles together so the dome pops-up and clip the pole end into the grommet.
8. Repeat the process with the vesbule poles, using the outer grommets.
9. Stake out the corners of the dome (4 stakes).
10. Stake out the vesbules (4 stakes).
11. Stake out guy ropes (8 stakes).
Note: There are 4 oponal guy-out points on each side of the tent. Extra ropes and stakes are not includ-
ed, but are recommended in high winds.
USING YOUR TENT
To provide maximum comfort in sunny weather and minimise the temperature inside the tent, follow
these recommendaons:
1. Always open the roof vents.
2. Always open the vesbule corner vents
3. Even if fans are not in use, always open the side vents.
4. Aach the circular side-vent ducts to the inner tent. A head-lamp or lantern is recommended so
both hands are free. Take your me to carefully work your way around the circumference of the
vent. Line up and push together the hook & loop strips so an even seal is made all the way around.
5. Depending on the lay of the land and the tension of your tent pitch, you may wish to use the extra
side-vent poles to maximise the opening of the side vent. To do this, aach the extra pole
(kickstand) in between the two sewn-in ‘kickstands’.
TIP: The doors have loops on the inside so you can hook the doors parally open to increase venlaon
whilst liming the amount of light. If the tent is warming up try opening both doors 1/4 way, or 1/2 way.
To use the door loops from the inside, unzip the door fully, clip the loops through the toggles at the re-
quired height, then then close the zippers gently unl the door is tensioned.

1. If planning to setup with one-person next me, unclip inner tent and allow to lay at.
2. Remove all stakes.
3. Unclip pole ends from grommets and allow tent to lay at.
4. One pole at a me, push pole from one end so about 2 feet is accessible at other end
5. Apply gentle sideways pressure to exposed pole so it bends slightly
6. Keeping pole bent, pull gently. The bend will prevent the pole secons from separang and make it
much easier to remove the pole from the sleeve.
7. Repeat the process for all poles.
8. Always ensure tent is completely dry before storing.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
If tent becomes dirty, rinse with running water from a hand-held container or a garden hose (remove any
high-pressure aachments). If necessary, wipe gently with a so cloth.
NEVER soak or machine wash the tent.
NEVER use any kind of detergent or chemical cleaning agent.
ALWAYS allow tent to dry thoroughly before packing the tent away.
In the event of any rips or tears, the y fabric can repaired using industry standard repair kits. Always
place the repair patch on the inside of the y fabric, never on the reecve side.
