OutdoorLEDs Dual Wall Light User manual

Dual Wall Light (Square)
Installation and Operating Instructions
the brighter choice
Outdoor LEDs’ Wall Lights offer a stylish and practical way to light up any space, indoor or
outdoor. With the added advantage of reliably projecting light both downwards and upwards
from a compact design, these lights can be incorporated in a variety of places to illuminate any
feature or walkway you should choose. As well as providing beautiful illumination from a stylish
aluminium housing, these wall lights consume only 6 watts, making them one of the most
economic options available.
The Dual Wall Lights use six LEDs, three pointing upwards and three pointing downwards,
per fitting to illuminate your wall. The compact size and stylish aluminium design will transform
the look of dark walkways and add a security aspect when fitted near to doorways and gates.

Electrical Installation
The mains power supply for the Dual Wall Light must comply
with the current IET wiring regulations (BS 7671). Specific
recommendations for garden installations are provided in
Chapter 16 of “IET Wiring Regulation Guidance Note 7”.
The electrical supply must be protected by a 30mA
residual current device (RCD).
The Dual Wall Light must be earthed.
The Dual Wall Light baseplate is fied with twin cable grips
which will allow a number of Dual Wall Lights to be connected
to a single circuit in a daisy chain fashion. Use H05RN- F 3 x 1.0
mm2 or equivalent cable (rubber insulated, black neoprene –
suitable for use in wet locations outside).
Cabling must be shielded from prolonged exposure to direct
sunlight and, if it is buried, must be protected against accidental
damage with suitable conduit. Unprotected cables should not
be buried in the ground, nor should they be clipped to wood
fences or similar which may provide inadequate support
and protection.
Installation
Ensure that the power supply is isolated before beginning
the installation.
The Dual Wall Light can be mounted externally, but it is not
intended for immersion in water. We recommend that you wall
mount the lights in a sheltered area at a height of at least
20cm above the height of any potential ground water (fig.1).
1. Using the Allen key provided, remove the screw at the end
of the base of the Light.
2. Separate the baseplate from the head unit.
3. Disconnect the power supply unit output cable by pressing
down on the latch of the quick connector.
4. Put the light’s head unit to one side.
5. Feed the mains supply cable through the entry grommet
and hold the baseplate in position on the fixing surface.

Disposal of Packaging
Please dispose of all packaging responsibly, recycling where
possible.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always disconnect from the mains and allow the lights to cool
before cleaning.
Do not use abrasive cleaners on your lights. This may scratch
the finish.
Do not use a pressure washer on these units.
Diagnostics
Q: Why aren’t the lights coming on?
1. In very bright sunlight the garden lights may not appear to
be lit. Check for illumination in darker conditions.
2. Check that the mains supply is switched on and the RCD has
not tripped.
