Take the following parts
Item 19 x 2 Cross Braces
Item 30 x 8 Corner Brackets

Take the following parts

Item 15 x 2 Magnets, Flat Retaining
Item 36 x 4 Slide Nuts M8
You should end up with
the Magnets secured as
shown, This section is for
the Tool Holder.
Loosen all Grub Screws
as shown by turning the
Allen Key anti clockwise.
Insert 2 Corner Brackets into
the Cross Brace end ensuring
to insert the longer ends of
the Corner Bracket.
Use the other Cross
Brace as a guide sliding
the Corner Brackets into
the top and tightening
the upright Grub Screws.
Insert the Slide Nuts
as shown opposite.
Screw in the Hex Screw
Flanged M8. These can
be hand tightened ready
for the Push Handle later.
You should end up with
all Corner brackets
secured as shown.

Take the parts opposite.
Insert the Hex Screws through
the Magnets. Then insert the
Slide Nuts into the Cross Brace.
Add Plain Washers M8 to sit
between the Magnet and the
Cross Braces.

42"STAGE 2 – END BRACKETS & FRAME
Take the following parts
Item 1 x 4 Hex Bolt M8 x 65mm
Item 5 x 2 Nyloc Nut M8
Item 8 x 4 Plain Washer M8
Item 11 x 2 Adjustable Handle M8 x 16mm Female
Item 20 x 2 Rack Mount BKT
Item 22 x 2 Rack Clamp
Item 28 x 2 Plastic Insert

Insert the 2 Hex Bolt M8 into the back of the
Rack Mount BKT and insert the Plastic Insert
as shown above with the grooved side of the
Plastic Insert facing down.
Slide on the Rack Clamp, then the 2 x Plain Washer M8.
Then add the Adjustable Handle on the same side as the
Panther logo and the Nyloc Nut M8 on the opposite side.
Do not fully tighten the nut you can do this later. Repeat
this step so you have x 2 assembled Rack Mounts.

Take the following parts
Item 3 x 4 Hex Screws M8 x 16mm
Item 8 x 4 Plain Washers M8
Item 18 x 2 30 x 30mm Prole Side Rails
Please note the above parts include the optional winch. If winch is not included
then omit the following – Item 31 x 2, Item 35 x 1, Item 36 x 2 and Item 38 x 2.

2E Take the 2 x Cross Rails with the 2 nuts for the Push Handle
and slide them onto the Prole Side Rails on the right.
Then take the Tool Holder Cross Rail and slide it on the left.

2F Insert 2 Slide Nuts M8 into the right hand
side near the Push Handle side, place the
Rack Mount on top and then screw in a
Hex Screws M8 with a Plain Washers M8.

Please ensure the Cross Braces are square with
no gaps where they are joined to the Prole Side
Rails and the Grub Screws are done up TIGHT.
Also ensure that both ends are square.

On the left hand side near the Tool Holder
Insert 3 Slide Nuts M8 into the bottom left.
On the top left slide 1 Slide Nut M6, then 2
Slide Nuts M8.
Now take the 2 x Eyebolts and the Winch Eye Spacers and screw them to the top
rail into the 2 Slide Nuts M8 spaced as per below. You can always ne tune when
the mill is nally assembled. You should end up with the below assembly.
Then add the Rack Mount
using the Hex Screws M8
with Plain Washers M8 as
before with handle facing
outwards as shown opposite

Slide the Handle Grip onto
the Push Handle and insert

tighten the Grub Screws

facing as shown opposite
for easy access.

Item 32 x 2 Handle Grips
Item 37 x 2 Round Chrome Plastic Inserts
Side the following parts
onto the Control Tube on
the left hand end in the
following order, loosening
the Grub Screws before
sliding each item on.
Item 21 x 1 Stop Boss

Item 29 x 1 Pinion – check
direction matches picture
Ensure that all Grub Screws
are facing upwards and tighten
Slide the following parts onto the
right side of the Control Tube in
the following order.

Ensure that all Grub Screws
are facing upwards and tighten
You can also t the Round
Chrome Plastic Insert.
You should now have the completed assembly below with
all Grub Screws pointed upwards for easy adjustment.
Loosen the Grub Screws on the 2
Handle Grips and slide them onto
the Control Tube. Tighten the Grub
Screws ensuring they are facing the
same direction as the Grub Screws
in Task 4B.

Take the following parts

Item 13 x 2 Grub Screw M8 x 50mm Cup Points
Item 15 x 2 Magnets, Flat Retaining
Item 16 x 1 Right Rack Assembly
Item 24 x 2 Bar Clamp Washer
Item 25 x 2 MK2 Saw Guides
Item 27 x 1 End Bar Guard

Add some thread locking
compound to the M8 Grub
Screws at the non Allen Key
side and then screw them
into the Rack Assemblies
leaving 35mm clear.
Then add the Bar Clamp Washer, the
other MK2 Saw Guide and a Nyloc
Nut M8 Flange and hand tighten.
You can then t both Square
Chrome Plastic Inserts into the
ends of the Rack Assemblies.
You may need to trim the edges
of the inserts to t them.
Insert a MK2 Saw Guide ensuring
that it ts into the groove in the
Right Rack Assembly, followed by
a Magnet, a Spring Washer and a
Plain Nut M8 and tighten.
5E Take the Left Rack Assembly and
add the End Bar Guard, followed by
a Magnet, a Spring Washer, a Plain
Nut M8 and a Nyloc Nut M8 Flange
and hand tighten.

You can now test the Control Tube by loosening the Adjustable Handles and twisting the Handle Grips to raise or
lower the mill. Then check that both ends are the same height using the ruler on the Uprights. If they are dierent
heights make any adjustments to the Uprights so that they are the same. Before using the Panther Mill please
ensure that you perform a nal check of all fastenings to make sure everything is safe to use.
42"STAGE 6 – ASSEMBLY OF ALL SECTIONS
Lay out all assembled Stages 1to 5as shown below with the Tool Holder
on the left with the Nose End Upright and the Engine Upright on the right
Then unscrew the 2 Nyloc Nuts M8 Flange on both Uprights and attach your guide bar as
shown below. You may need to move the Nose End Upright towards the right if the guide bar
you are using is smaller than the 42" GB Lo Pro Milling Bar shown.
Loosen the 2 x

Loosen both Adjustable Handles and insert the Nose End Upright on the left and the
Engine Upright on the right. You may need to loosen the bolts next to the Adjustable
Handles to slide the Uprights in.

set both Uprights to a height of 2"
then tighten the Adjustable Handles.

to 2"Tighten the 2 x Hex Screws
M8 on the Nose End Upright
on the left hand side ensuring
that everything is square. Set
this Upright to 2" to match
the engine end.

Add the Control Tube to both ends using 4 x M8 x 40mm Socket Cap
Head Screws with 4 Plain Washer M8 as shown below ensuring that the
teeth of the Pinions line up in the centre of the Upright grooves. You may
need to loosen the grub screws to ensure that the Pinions line up.
Then t the Control Handle
to the Side Rail using the
2 x Hex Screws Flanged M8.
6I Take the winch parts out and
add the handle, the spacer
followed by the nyloc nut.
Flip the winch upside down and
unscrew the 2 nuts. Then screw
the threads into the Slide Nut M8
and Slide Nut M6 in the rail.

of the grub screws. If they are in the same position the bar is level.

Insert the 2 Hex Bolt M8 into the back of the
Rack Mount BKT and insert the Plastic Insert
as shown above with the grooved side of the
Plastic Insert facing down.
Slide on the Rack Clamp, then the 2 x Plain Washer M8.
Then add the Adjustable Handle on the same side as the
Panther logo and the Nyloc Nut M8 on the opposite side.
Do not fully tighten the nut you can do this later. Repeat
this step so you have x 2 assembled Rack Mounts.

place the Rack Mount on top and
then screw in a Hex Screws M8 with
a Plain Washers M8.

Take the Cross Rail with the 2 nuts for the Push Handle and
slide them onto the Prole Side Rails on the right. Then insert
2 Slide Nuts M6 into the middle Cross Rail before sliding it
into the middle. Then take the Tool Holder Cross Rail and
slide it on the left. Make sure both ends are square.
Please ensure the Cross Braces are square with
no gaps where they are joined to the Prole Side
Rails and the Grub Screws are done up TIGHT.
Also ensure that both ends are square.

Insert 3 Slide Nuts M8 into the bottom left.
On the top left slide 1 Slide Nut M6, then 2
Slide Nuts M8.
Now take the 2 x Eyebolts and the Winch Eye Spacers and screw them to
the top rail into the 2 Slide Nuts M8 spaced as per below. You can always
ne tune when the mill is nally assembled. You should end up with the
below assembly.
Then add the Rack Mount
