INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing a Paser product.
Firewall OBD2 represents the return of Paser in the world of car alarms.
Faced with a deep experience in the eld of cars and CAN-bus technology alarms, Paser merges the two knowledge and introduces to the car alarms market a
new weapon against increasingly sophiscated the systems.
Through vehicles OBD2 port in fact, it is possible to code new keys so to defuse the alarm.
Paser suggests FIREWALL OBD2 to remedy the above drawback.
The module in queson allows you to create a defence to the OBD2 port, so that in the unfortunate event that someone try to program a new key to the vehi-
cle, the system will deceive the programming device, consequently prevenng all communicaons with the vehicle.
KIT COMPOSITION
On default, the kit consists of the following parts:
 1 Firewall OBD2 electronic unit;
 1 installaon manual;
 1 warranty card
 1 plasc screwdriver to make all sengs
based on the versions and not included in default kit, you need:
 1 Plug and Play harness (please see compability codes on the site www.paser.it/rewall/)
 1 two-channels remote control (in stand alone mode with remote control)
DEFAULT SETTING
Firewall has dierent working modes.
Default kit is set as stand alone controlled by remote control (not supplied) or wire.
Default kit has the wire input (BLACK wire) set to GND polarity, this means that, when connected to GND, the wire in object acvates Firewall OBD2 unit.
INSTALLATION
Installaon is very easy and completely plug and play.
You need to locate the OBD2 port of the vehicle (in case suggesons are needed, please refer to www.paser.it/rewall/).
Then you have to connect in series to the original OBD2 connector, the harness supplied in the kit and to engage the OBD2 socket of the harness in place of the
original OBD2 one.

1.Please idenfy the locaon of the original vehicle
OBD2 port (www.paser.it/rewall/locaon) and
then remove the connector from its housing;
2.Please connect the male OBD2 plug to the original
OBD2 socket (1);
3. Connect to a wire ignion
4. Please connect the Firewall OBD2 module to mul-
way connectors of the OBD2 harness of the kit;
5. Please connect the harness OBD2 socket of the kit
in the same place where it was connected to the
OEM plug.

HOW IT WORKS?
The unit supplied with remote control follows this procedure for the acvaon / deacvaon of Firewall. The remote control has 2
buons, please refer to the diagram below:

Warning!
When Firewall is o (OFF) you can set it so that every turning on of the ignion, the unit emits 5 beeps: this seng allows the user
to know when OBD protecon is OFF.
To set this mode, please connect the BLACK wire to an ignion posive.
HOW IT WORKS?
The version supplied as ignion conguraon, it’s a stand alone module and allows the Firewall OBD2 managing by a sequence of 3 consecuve car ignion
acvaons. The procedure is the following:

When Firewall is o (OFF) at every turning on of the ignion, the unit emits 5 beeps: this allows the user to know the OBD protecon is OFF.
Also on this seng, it is possible to combine a remote control.

WORKING MODE SETTINGS AND BLACK WIRE POLARITY
For the management of the dierent acvaon/deacvaon funcons of Firewall OBD2, please press 5 mes the buon of the module
ORANGE ashes of the module’s led represents the opon number, RED ashes the status of the opon.
To scroll opons press quickly the buon of the module.
To change opon status press the buon 5 seconds.
The number of ORANGE ashes of the module LED represents the displayed number of the opon and the RED ashes indicate the status of the opon.
WARNING: if for 30 seconds you do not press any remote control buons, the system exits from the programming mode automacally.

THIS PRODUCT IS GUARANTEED 2 YEARS FOR ANY MANUFACTURING DEFECT. THE WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY WITH THE PURCHASE INVOICE
RESET
The module can be supplied with a remote control for the acvaon/deacvaon of the OBD2 port.
In case you need to erase the remote control memory, please press 3 mes the Firewall OBD2 buon unl the LED will become ORANGE, then press the
buon ll the LED lights GREEN. The memory is erased.
Firewall OBD2 can work in dierent modes.
Each kit independently as it is set up, properly reprogrammed can operate in a dierent mode than the default one.
Here below the descripon of the dierent sengs.

To program a new remote control it’s necessary that the module is OFF with LED GREEN, now please press 3 mes the Firewall buon: the LED will light
ORANGE.
Please press the buon again LED begins to ash ORANGE:
Then, please press one remote control buons: the LED will become GREEN . Remote control is memorized.
