TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem Troubleshooting
Fan not working
Check whether cable is connected or not
Check batteries are discharged. If discharged, connect
the AC adapter to power

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
•When not in use the fan should be stored in a dry location
•Aways unplug the fan before cleaning or disassembling.
•Clean the outside surfaces of the Rechargeable fan with a damp cloth and mild
detergent – do not allow water to enter the unit.

•Operating temperature: -5℃~ 50℃
•Charging time: 8 ~ 10 hours
•Cordless time after fully charged: 3.5 ±0.5 hours for HIGH setting, and 5.0 ±0.5
hours for LOW setting

For the four pilot lights on the right side, they are for “Charge, Low, Middle and High”
respectively from left to right.
•The charging pilot light indicates the current status of the battery. If the product is
connected to an AC outlet, the light will twinkle when it’s being charged, while the
light will be green when it’s fully charged.
IMPORTANT: If the product is not used for a long time, battery must be fully
charged before use. Recharge every 3 months to guarantee battery
life.
WARNINGS
•Ensure power rating complies with local power supply.
•Do not break light box. If lamp tube is damaged, it must be replaced by dealers or
professionals.
•Power cord should be regularly examined for signs of damage and the appliance is
not to be used if the cord is damaged.
•If power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the Permaflo, its approved service
agent in order to avoid danger.
•Do not use non-rechargeable batteries.
•Do not mix new and used batteries & do not mix battery types.
Do not expose batteries to heat as they may explode or leak.

SAFETY
•This product is designed to be used indoors. Rechargeable fan should not be used
in the rain, near fire or other unsuitable environment.
•Always position cable and extension leads so they do not become a trip hazard for
children, pets or the elderly.
BEFORE YOU START
•Unpack the Rechargeable fan ensuring that all the parts are present and that there are
no components left in the box. Also ensure the product is free from all packing material
as this could melt.
•Do not connect the Rechargeable fan to the power supply until it is fully assembled.
•Do not connect the Rechargeable fan to the power supply if any of the components, or
the cable, appear damaged. If in doubt contact the place of purchase.
CHARATERISTICS
•This product can be powered by AC electricity, DC battery or solar panels. Normally, it
is powered by AC electricity.
•Self-protect function to avoid being overcharged or low-battery so that the lifetime of
the battery can be extended efficiently.
•A rechargeable product which is convenient to be used indoor during time of power
failures or outdoor (non adverse weather conditions only).
•Both can be used at the same time or used during charging.
Note: If the unit is used for the first time, it should be charged continuously for at
least 12 hours before the Rechargeable fan is turned on.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTION
Tip: For ease of assembly, ask somebody to help by holding the additional units while
you fix them to the fan.
1. Unpack the rechargeable fan components ensuring that all the parts are present
and that there are no components left in the box. Also ensure the product is free from
all packing material as this could melt.

2. Take the extension tube, take out the big screw (part 12), install the plastic cover
(part 11) on the extension tube. See Fig 2
3. Take the fan body (part 7) out and connect the cable through the extension tube,
take out the nut from poly bag (part 10) and tighten screws to fix the expansion tube
and fan body. See Fig 3
