Pettor Way X2 User manual

1. Open the packaging of your tracker and connect the USB cable to the X1 by opening the USB slot
and rmly inserng the USB cable, (logo upwards) into the X1.
2. Plug the USB cable connected to the X2, into your PC and charge for 6 Hours, charging thereaer-
should be 2 hours. While charging the light will be red.
3. Once charging is complete, turn on the X2 by pressing the power switch for 5 seconds; note, as we
use a waterproof switch you may need to use a pen or paperclip to hold the switch in. When the
tracker is turned on, the blue light will appear for 5 seconds and then turn o.
4. Go to www.peorway.co.uk and create your user account.

5. Log into your account and click the My Prole tab at the top of the page, then on the le hand side
select GPS Device Sync icon.
6. Enter your device number, this is located on a silver scker on the internal packaging, keep this
number safe.
7. When the ‘Sync’ process is complete your X2 is ready for use.
8. Place the X2 into the protecve cover of your choice and slide onto your pet’s collar, the cover will
t onto a collar up to 15mm wide and comes with an addional Velcro strap for oversized collars.
9. Once the X2 is outside it may take several minutes to get GPS signal, the light will ash green when
it has successfully ‘synced’ (If the light remains constant blue it is sll trying to ‘sync’ with the
Satellite, the lights will go o and will ash when the device moves). Note; when X2 is staonary
for a period it will revert into standby mode to preserve baery life.
10. Your pet can now go on an adventure!
11. To use the live real me tracking facility ,log into your account and click the Find Me icon on the
menu bar, then select the Find Me buon on the le hand side at the boom of the map.
The map will appear with your pets locaon. You can view this informaon as a map or satellite
image. The tracker will send back six locaon points within 3 minutes, the rst will be labeled A,
and the last labeled F, so you will be able to get an understanding of the direcon your pet is
travelling .
12. The above funcons are available through the Mobile Apps for Apple and Android and
there is also a Fence facility where you can set a boundary, if your pet leaves the boundary
you will receive an alert.

13. When your pet returns, remove the X2 from the collar and connect the USB cable (as per the in-
strucons followed in point 1), connect the USB to your PC and log into your account using the
username and password setup earlier.
14. Click on the My Journey tab and then click the Upload Data icon.
15. Select the chosen le icon and on the le hand side select the PETTORWAY drive, (If the X2 is not
showing you may need to turn it on by holding down the on switch).
16. Double click the TRAIL folder and the data recorded will be displayed in the folder in reverse date
order e.g 5th January 2015 will be displayed 150105. Select the data you wish to upload and click
open.
17. Click on the My Journey secon to view your pet’s adventures. You can change the date by
selecng an alternave date on the le hand side. The informaon collected can be viewed in a
map format or satellite format.

What the Lights on the tracker mean:-
Red LED Light
* Slow ashing indicates the tracker is ready for charging
*Connuous indicates charging
*When not connected to a power source, solid red indicates charging is required
Blue LED Light
*Connuous indicates no GPS (satellite) signal has been secured
*Rapid ashing indicates tracker is turning o
*Slow ashing (every 10 seconds) indicates good GPS signal has been secured
Green LED Light
*Connuous indicates an issue with the GSM (mobile network) signal
*Slow ashing indicates a good GSM signal has been secured
*No light indicates that the tracker is turned o or is in standby mode

or you can download from the Peorway Support secon of our website.
There are addional features which include ‘fence’ funcon, sharing your journeys and instant chat
included within the apps.
