User Guide

Your Z3 comes with one battery attached and a charging adaptor.
Charging the battery
Connect the Z3 with the charging adaptor via USB cable.
The red light indicates that the Z3 is charging. The light will turn green when
fully charged, which should take around 2 hours.
Once the Z3 is charged, remove it from the charging adaptor.

Important:The QR code is the link that will keep the latest version iOS or Android App,
you can scan the QR code and install the app instead to go to apple store or Google
play store.

Before you can get started you must either Log in or Creat new account if you
have not account with Pettorway.
Creat an account is easy, just open the App and follow the prompts!

Turning the Z3 On
Go outside to an open area with a clear view of the sky away from buildings
and trees.
Press and hold the push button (on the side of the Z3) for 3 seconds. The 3
lights will be on together to show the Z3 is turn on.
The Z3 will go into a boot up phase for 3 minutes after it has been turned on to
display the status. See the table about the Z3's lights for more information.
Turning the Z3 Off
Hold the Button for 3 seconds until the middle light fast flashes to show the Z3
is turned off.

Blue Flashing: GPS signal locked, good for
tracking.
Blue permanent on: Searching for GPS
signal.
Light Off: Device go for standby mode.

Green: Complete charging.
Red permanent on: Under charging
Red flashing: Lower power.

In order for the Z3 to work you need to add a Pet to your account and then
associate your Z3's ID with it.
There are several stages in creating your pet profile:
The Z3 ID need be entered manually by copying the 12 digits GPS Device ID
from the inside of the box.

Z3 lets you define a "safe zone" around your house, so that you receive an
alert when your pet strays too far from home.
Instructions:
Go to Activities page and select the fence screen
Tap the fence area on the map to create a safe zone. Move the safe zone
circle to correct position, and drag the small round button in the bottom to
create safe zone area. Once you are happy with the safe zone, tap SAVE.
The final step is to activate the safe zone. Press the On/Off switch under the
fence page can activate or deactivate the safe zone.
Setup Fence
Important: Fence only can be setting on phone or tablet, safe Zone alerts only work on
phone or tablet devices running the Z3 Trackers app. Users of the web app will not receive
Safe Zone alerts.

Your Z3’s home WiFi is set up from the setting screen in the activities of the
app. When setup, your Z3 will locate at home whenever it is in range of your
home WiFi.
Instructions
Connect your phone/device to your home WiFi (we use this to get its name)
Go to setting page in the activities manual and click the home WiFi button,
check the name, and select your home WiFi name.
You should receive a notification to your phone/device once the Z3 has saved
your home WiFi, and the saved home wifi name will show on the setting page.

Important: You must use either the iOS or Android app to set home WiFi and not the web
in your browser. See Downloading the App if you have not yet installed the app.
Tip: Setting up your home WiFi location has the additional benefit of improving locate
efficiency and battery life when your pet is in range of your WiFi.

To find the current location of your Z3:
Click the "activities" button from the menu of app, then click the "Locate" button
go to the map page, click the “Find” button and a message will be sent to your
Z3 to get a location. It can take a minute or two to send the message and get a
location back.
If the Z3 has mobile/cell reception and a GPS lock, then you should see your
pet picture appear on the map within 2 minutes. You will receive up to 15
locations or received “I am at home” message back each time you hit “Find”.
If you get a message saying your Z3 can’t be found, then the device must be
out of mobile/cell range, not have a GPS lock or have a flat battery. If you’re
near the Z3, you can check the lights for the mobile/cell reception, GPS lock
and battery level. If you’re not near the Z3, you can try sending a location
request later.

To look the adventures of your Z3:
Click the "adventures" button from the activities menu, select related date and
look your pet adventures, the available adventures date will be showed with
blue color on the calendar on the web page.

To set the Z3 working mode:
Click the "settings" button from the menu of activities in app, you can switch
on/off “Battery saver”. Switch off “Battery saver” means Z3 will work under
stand by mode, stand by mode will only support “Locate” function and fence
function if fence function is switch on, but not record the adventures. Switch on
track mode means Z3 will support all functions.
Working Mode Setting
Important: Stand by is the most power reserve working mode, Z3 can work more than 6
days. Track is the most power consumption working mode, Z3 may only keep working 6 to
8 hours because Z3 need keep GPS working all time.

The rubber sleeve is designed to protect and hold Z3 doesn’t fall off the collar.
Attach To Your Pet
Tip: If the collar is too wide and hard to fit into the rubber sleeve, you can use the Velcro
strap to fix the rubber sleeve on the collar!
