Features of the DS500 CAN vehicle security system

Alarm functions
1. ARMING AND CLOSING DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM
Press the button on the OEM remote – light will blink confirms the vehicle security system arming and the central
door locking will close. The LED will light constantly and after 10 seconds it will start to blink slowly.
2. ARMING WITH INTERIOR MOTION DETECTOR AND ADDITIONAL SENSOR DISABLED
If the ALARM is armed with any person or animal in the vehicle, their movement will trigger the alarm.
To avoid such situation, the system can be armed without interior motion detector and additional sensors.
To do so, before arming the system - press and hold the valet switch (until the LED starts to blink rapidly).
Exit the vehicle, close all doors and press the button of the remote - two siren chirps confirm arming without
interior motion detector and additional sensor.
The light will blink to confirm the vehicle security system arming and the central door locking is closed.
The LED will light constantly and after 10 seconds it will start to blink slowly.
3. DISARMING AND OPENING THE CENTRAL DOOR LOCKING SYSTEM
Press the button of the remote – the light will blink confirming - disarming of ALARM, central door locking system
will be open.
The status LED will start blinking until any door is opened and then will go off.
If the alarm was triggered during the driver’s absence, the ALARM signalizes it with three siren chirps.
The siren will chirps 3 times, if no input will be activated (trunk, bonnet ...), before doors opening.
If the doors will not be opened until 30 second´s, alarm will activate automaticly. See chapter 6.
4. TRUNK RELEASE BUTTON LOGIC
It´s possible to command openning of trunk by button ( if the button is on original remote )
After pressing button will open the trunk. Additional sensor´s, ultrasonic sensor´s and detection of input of trunk will
go of. During trunk opening LED will be blinking quickly. After closing of trunk the alarm will get again in active state –
all inputs will be active.
IMPORTANT! This feature is car depended and can work differently in some cars.
