Bluetooth Speaker
Overview
The Bluetooth speaker is very small in size with incredible clarity of sound and volume.
Ease for carry and a great companion for travel. With Bluetooth 3.0 wireless
technology, it enables you to connect between Smartphone, PC notebook, iPad,
portable handheld devices within 10 meters. You can enjoy all your music anywhere
with your friends or use it as an external speaker for conference meeting. This mini
speaker uses a new generation of amplifiers and you will be surprise by the incredible
sound from such a small device!

Getting Started
To use the Bluetooth speaker, please follow these simple steps:
Prior to using the speaker, it is recommendable to charge the battery fully for
the first time.
Use the micro USB cable to connect the speaker to any computer with USB
port. Charging time is approx 3 hours. After completion of charge, please
remove the cable from speaker.
Make sure the speaker and your Bluetooth-enabled device such as your smart
phone or tablet no more than 1 meter away for the initial pairing process.
Once paired, ensure your speaker and your Smartphone is always within a 10-
meter Bluetooth sensing distance. (Obstruction could cause shorter sensing
distance.)
Note
Charge time: Normal full charge time is around 3 hrs.
Charge indication: When charge is in process, the charging indicator light will be
red. When the charge is completed, the charging indicator will turn off.
Low battery indication: You will hear a voice alert of "Low battery, please
recharge" It’s recommended to charge the speaker immediately to prolong
durability of battery and standby time. When the speaker has a low battery status, if
the battery is not charged within a certain time, the speaker will switch itself off.
Warning:
Do not charge the speaker with other unsuitable AC/DC power adaptors,
it may cause damage to the speaker. The speaker must be charged
properly by USB ports or by a AC/DC adaptor with Input: AC100-240V,
50-60Hz Output: DC 5V 500mA
To keep the battery in good condition, charge the speaker at least once
every 3 months.

Turning the speaker On/Off
Turning On: Speaker is under off mode:
Press and hold the PLAY button for 4 seconds, you will hear a voice alert and the
Standby indicator light will flash in blue.
Turning Off: Speaker is under standby mode or running mode:
Press and hold the PLAY button over 4 seconds, you will hear a voice alert saying
"Power off". All standby indicator lights will be turned off.
Pairing
Prior to using the speaker for the first time, you must pair it with a Bluetooth-enabled
device eg. your Smartphone, iPad, iPhone etc.
The following steps describe pairing process for a Bluetooth-enabled device.
Ensure the speaker is switched OFF.
Place the speaker and your Smartphone not more than 1 meter apart.
Switch on the speaker by press and hold the PLAY button for 4 seconds.
Press and hold the " " button to activate the pairing mode, the standby indicator will
flash in red and blue alternatively. It’s now ready for pairing.
Activate your Smartphone's Bluetooth function, the Smartphone will search for
accessible Bluetooth devices. (For details, please refer to the user guide of the
Smartphone)
Select "SSIS_music” from the searching list and press “OK” to pair the speaker
Some Bluetooth smart phones or devices will ask for a passkey, please enter “0000”
and press “OK” to pair the speaker.
When pairing is completed, you will hear a voice alert “Connected”. Now the speaker
is ready for use and in standby mode; this is indicated by a flashing blue light every 3
seconds.
You should now be able to use the wireless speaker to listen the music. Please place
your Bluetooth device within 10m of the speaker. (Obstructions could cause shorter
sensing distance.)
NOTE: Whenever Bluetooth connection/link is removed, for example: power off on speakerphone/mobile
handset or out of 10 meter sensing distance, please activate connection/link as suggested.

Operate the Speaker
Once pairing is completed and battery is fully charged, you may access the following
functions. Some of the below-mentioned function is only accessible for Smartphones
that support with Hands-Free Profile.
(a) Play / Pause the music:
Short press the PLAY button to pause and re-play music in your Smartphone or you
can do it via your Smartphone in the normal way.
(b) Adjusting the Volume:
During speaker playing or conversation is in progress, press and hold the reduce
volume " " button and increase volume " " button repeatedly until you reach the
desired volume level.
NOTE: Volume level of your Smartphone is control by the Smartphone, volume control button of
speaker will not control your Smartphone volume level.
(c) Play Next / Previous Song:
Quick press the " " button to play previous song, and press " " button to play next
song
(d) Answering a Call:
To answer a call, wait for the speakerphone to ring with a voice alert “Calling”, then
short press the " " button to accept the call or answer the call via your Smartphone in
the normal way. If iPhone models are connected to this Bluetooth speaker, when
there is an incoming call, both the speaker and iphone will play the incoming
ringtone; for other Smartphone models, only the Smartphone will play the incoming
ringtone.
NOTE: Please try to keep 30-50cm distance from speaker when answering a call.
(e) Ending a Call:
A short press of the " " button will end your call or you can end the call via your
Smartphone in the normal way.

(f) Reject a call
Please reject the call via your Smartphone in the normal way.
(g) Last Number Re-Dialing:
Under standby mode, short press " " button twice for last number redial.
(h) Mute & Un-mute:
Please mute the call via your Smartphone in the normal way.
Disconnection between Speaker and your Smartphone:
Please follow the simple steps to disconnect the speaker with the pre-paired Smartphone
(a) Long press the "" button for around 2 seconds
(b) Power off the speaker by 4 seconds press the PLAY
(c) Or simply unpair/disconnect the speaker via your Bluetooth options on your
smartphone.
Connect the speaker with 3.5mm audio cable
You can also connect to portable speaker with a 3.5mm audio cable to hear your
music if you do not want to use Bluetooth. Keep the speaker in OFF mode first, then
connect the cable to the line-out socket of your audio source, and plug the 3.5mm
cable back into the speaker.
NOTE: Please note that all control buttons on the speaker cannot control the Smartphone when connected
with the audio cable

Safety Cautions & Maintenance
(a) Do not charge the speaker with other unsuitable AC/DC power adaptor, it may
cause damage to the speaker. The speaker must be charged properly by USB
ports or by a AC/DC adaptor with Input: AC100-240V,50-60Hz Output: DC 5V
500mA
(b) Stop using the speaker and switch on the speaker immediately, if you find any
overheating situation, strange noise and strange working performance during use
(c) Do not drop the speaker on floor / ground, as the plastic housing of speaker could
be damaged and broken
(d) Do not expose the speaker to liquid, moisture or humidity, as it is not waterproof.
(e) Do not use abrasive cleaning solvents to clean the speaker.
(f) Do not place the speaker in high temperature, as it will result in an explosion.
(g) Do not expose the speaker to contact with sharp objects as this will cause
scratching and damage.
(h) Do not stick anything inside the speaker or front panel as this may damage internal
components.
(i) Do not attempt to disassemble the speaker, as it does not contain serviceable
components.
(j) If you do not use the speaker for long periods, be sure to store it in a dry place, free
from extreme temperature, humidity and dust.
Safety Reminder
(a) Check local laws regarding use of a mobile headset and speakerphone while
driving. If you use the hands free speakerphone with this speaker while driving,
ensure your attention and focus remains on your responsibility of driving safety.
(b) Never allow children to play with the speaker. Small parts may be a choking hazard.
(c) Observe all signs that require an electrical device or RF radio product to be
switched off in the designated areas. These could include hospitals, blasting areas,
and potentially explosive atmospheres.
(d) Turn off your speaker and Bluetooth signal prior to boarding an aircraft. Do not use
your speaker in an aircraft.
(e) Never mount or store your speaker over any air bag deployment area. Serious injury
may be resulted when an air bag deploys.

Trouble Shooting
Trouble Shooting If you are unable to connect your speaker and your Smartphone, please try
the following:
Ensure the speaker is paired with your Smartphone.
Ensure your Smartphone’s Bluetooth feature is activated. Please refer to your
Smartphone user guide for specific instruction.
Ensure the speaker is within a maximum of 10 meters of your mobile headset(s)
and there are no obstructions, such as thick solid wall or other electronic devices in
between as it may cause shorter or interference transmission.
If all the above steps do not resolve your problem, please turn off the speaker for a
while. The Bluetooth speaker is compliance with and adopts the Bluetooth
Specification V3.0. However, interoperability between the device and other
Bluetooth-enable products is not guaranteed because it depends on compatibility.
For more information on the compatibility between the device with other Bluetooth-
enabled products, please check with the manufacturer/importer.
If you are not able to link up with Bluetooth, please check whether any other devices
are keep connecting with the Bluetooth speaker, or the speaker did not link up the
audio and media channel of the devices after pairing.
