Map Update Procedure

Map Update Manual
•Three steps required to do map updates
1. Collect your device information
2. Download update maps with Papaya3
3. Update your device

Step 1. Collect Device Info
•Insert an empty USB memory stick into the device
•In Navigation, click Main Menu ( ) > Settings > Update
•Device Information will be collected into USB memory stick as folder “carinfo”

Step 2. Download Update Maps
•Download and run Polstar’s map update tool “Papaya3” on PC
•Insert USB memory stick with device information, then click “Start”
•Selects map version to download, then click “Download”

Step 3. Update Device
•Insert USB memory stick back to the device. Note: When the USB is inserted a screen will
appear with random white characters. Press the home button to clear and to enter the Navigation software to proceed with the update.
•In Polnav, click Main Menu ( ) > Settings > Update
•Click “Ok” and “START” to proceed map updates
•When updates completed, click “CLOSE” to return to navigation
