Hello, thank you very much for choosing POWEROWL products,In
order to use and maintain the battery correctly, please read this
manual in detail.
If you receive a product that is abnormal, please contact us
immediately instead of leaving a bad review. Negative reviews cannot
solve the problem, but we can solve the problem for you. Thank you for
your understanding
Dear Customer
NIMH Battery Use Range
In general, appliances are designed to match the characteristics of
dry batteries and to work within the voltage range of 1.5V to 0.9V.
Although the initial voltage of Ni-MH rechargeable batteries is around
1.2V, which is lower than that of an alkaline battery, they are capable of
maintaining a steady discharge level at around 1.0V for as long as they
hold capacity, while alkaline batteries constantly decrease their output
voltage from the moment they are in use.
Thanks to this characteristic, Ni-MH rechargeable batteries can be
used in appliances which require alkaline batteries, even with lower
initial voltage.

How to use a battery properly?
Check the manual for your appliance to see if your appliance needs
designated batteries
In the event that the manual for the appliance specifically states it
needs designated batteries, please do so. Using different batteries may
cause the appliance not to work at all or not as long as expected.
How to charge properly?
①.Insert your batteries correctly keeping the plus and minus pole in
mind
In the case of appliances using an odd number of batteries, they will
sometimes work even if one of the batteries is set the other way round
with regard to the poles.
However, this is very dangerous as it could cause heat generation,
leakage, or exploding batteries. For this reason, please make sure the
batteries are inserted correctly.
② .In order to prevent accidents during transportation, Ni-MH
rechargeable batteries are generally not shipped with full power.
Because the battery is not full, it may have been stored and
self-discharged for a period of time when the customer bought it.

it is fully charged. After 3-5 full cycles, the battery will reach its best
performance
How to maintain?
1.Make sure you remove the batteries if the appliance will not be
used in a long time.Keeping a battery inserted in an appliance could
cause leakage and damage to the appliance. Therefore, make sure you
remove the batteries if an appliances will not be used in a long time.
2.Store your batteries correctly.Make sure you store your batteries at
room temperature out of direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high
humidity.
3.When the battery needs to be stored for more than one year, it is
necessary to ensure that the battery is charged and discharged at least
once a year, so as to prevent the battery from leaking alkaline and the
battery performance degradation caused by battery self-discharge.
4.When the battery after long-term storage is charged for the first
time, time, the battery's internal reaction activity will decrease, which

Attention& warning
⒈ Avoid placing batteries near babies. If a baby or anyone else
swallows the battery, seek medical attention immediately. To avoid this
danger, please make sure to store the battery out of the reach of
children.
Always group batteries of the same brand and type
⒉ Using batteries with different characteristics such as alkaline,
zinc-carbon or nickel-metal hydride (Ni-MH) together will cause
leakage, explosion of the battery and shorten battery life.
Therefore, it is recommended to combine batteries and devices with

⒊ Do not mix old and new batteries
If mixed together, the battery may start to leak. In addition, the new
battery will not perform optimally when used in combination.
⒋ Do not damage the surface of the battery
Please note that it is dangerous to use a battery with a peeled or
damaged outer label, as this will cause the battery to short circuit.
Before using the battery, make sure that the battery label is not
damaged
⒌ Beware of short circuits
When the battery is placed in a metal box or a pocket/drawer that
stores metal objects (such as necklaces, keys, or coins), a short circuit
occurs. Once a short circuit occurs, too much current will flow, which
will cause the battery to overheat, leak .
⒍ Please make sure your device is turned off after use
Most leakage problems are caused by forgetting to turn off the
appliance after use.

The factors will affect the battery life
⑴ .Leaving empty batteries in the device for a long time without
charging them will cause serious damage to the cell electrode
(over-discharge) and will shorten the battery life, so avoid doing so.
⑵ .Charge the batteries frequently. In theory, batteries should be
recharged when 70% of their capacity has been consumed. This will
ensure that there is no possibility of over-discharging the batteries,
which is a major cause of cell damage.
⑶.Do not use batteries at high temperatures as this increases the
internal pressure inside the cell, which includes liquid loss and a shorter
life span.
⑷ .Group the batteries together. When the batteries are grouped
together for a device, eg 4 x AA for a toy, means that the cells will
discharge simultaneously. If a battery is removed for use in another
device, Please fully charge all four batteries and then put back into the
toy, otherwise 1 battery out of 4 which has a different power level than
the others. Because of this, the cell will deteriorate and discharge more
quickly.

important to use cells of the same conditions. Use batteries with the
same characteristics, such as:
same product code
batteries purchased together
same charging / discharging time
⑹ .The use of rechargeable batteries with different conditions will
increase the performance gap between the cells which will lead to
unnecessary deterioration of the batteries and their duration. It may be
useful to mark the batteries with a permanent marker so that they can
be differentiated.
⑺.Make sure the battery cell terminal and the charger are cleaned
frequently. Repeated use of rechargeable batteries will cause (invisible)
contamination (such as grease or dust) on batteries and charger, which
will affect POWEROWL products in terms of performance.
Consequently, such dirt could obstruct the charge of the cells together
with the reduction of the battery discharge time. For these reasons,
POWEROWL invites its customers to frequently clean their batteries
and their chargers using a cloth.
