The 9200 is shipped to you in two cartons.

INSTALLATION
The machine is shipped in two cartons, a carton for the tension head and a carton for
the racquet mount and accessories.
Step 1:
Open the carton of the tension head.
Carefully lift the tension head assembly
out of carton and place it on a hard surface
or table.
Step 2:
Remove the 4 Allen bolts from the bearing pivot of the tension head assembly by
a 5 mm wrench.
Step 3:
Open the carton of the racquet mount.
Carefully lift the racquet mount assembly
out of carton and place its turntable in the
bearing pivot of the tension head assembly.
Next insert the 4 Allen bolts in the 4 holes
of the turntable and then tighten them
evenly with a 5 mm wrench.

MOUNTING THE RACQUET FRAME
Inserting the Side Supports
Insert the four side supports in the holes of the side support arms and have them
tighten by turning the knobs along with the washers beneath the side supports.
Note the big jaw of the side support is for tennis racquet frame and small jaw is for
the badminton racquet frame.
Inserting the String Clamps
Insert the two string clamps into
the string clamp bases.
Adjusting the Mounting Stocks
Loosen both mounting stocks by turning the mounting stock locking handles toward
right and adjust the distance between the mounting stocks to accommodate the size of
the racquet frame. Turn both mounting stock locking handles toward left to lock both
mounting stocks in place.

Center Support Adjustment
Select the suitable adapter and mount on it on the center support. Place the racquet
frame properly on both mounting stocks. Turn the knobs at the upper of each
mounting stock clockwise until snug against the racquet frame and slight resistance is
felt.
Side Support Adjustment
Turn the knobs at the bottom of each mounting stock clockwise to bring the side
supports in the contact with the racquet frame at all four points.
Brake Operation
To release the brake, turn the brake knob
counterclockwise.
To lock the turntable, turn the brake knob
clockwise

POWERING
To install the power cord, insert the female end of the power cord into the Power Cord
Socket located on the side panel and plug the male end into a grounded power outlet.
The main power switch is located on the right of the machine next to the receptacle
for the power cord. A 2 amp fuse is located in the power cord receptacle.
Voltage between 220V and 230V (50 Hz to 60 Hz) is acceptable.
A grounded outlet must be used.

1. KG/LB Conversion Key :
To change the tension display from Lbs to Kgs,
press the “KG/LB” key and then
“KG” or “LB” will be displayed on the screen.
Each press of the key toggles between Lbs and Kgs.
2. SPEED Selection Key :
To select the desired string pulling speed, press the “SPEED” key
and screen will be changed into the speed mode.
Each press of the key toggles between
HI SPEED, MID SPEED & LOW SPEED.
To get back to the main screen mode,
press one of the “KNOT”, “MAIN” or “CROSS” key
and the selected speed will be abbreviated into
H (HIGH SEED), M (MID SPEED) or L (LOW SPEED)
on the screen.

3. PRE-STRETCH Selection Key :
To select the desired pre-stretch pulling over tension setting
and releasing the string to the tension setting,
press “PRE-STRETCH” key and
screen will be changed into pre-stretch mode.
Each press of the key toggles between 0%, 10% & 20%.
To get back to the main screen mode, press one of the “KNOT”,
“MAIN” or “CROSS” key. The selected pre-stretch value
will be abbreviated into 1 (10%), 2 (20%) or 0 (no pre-stretch)
on the screen.
4. Memory Key :
To store the desired tension, press “M” key.
(If you don’t press “M” key for storing the new tension setting,
you may wait for 3 seconds until a beep sound is alarmed which
means the machine has automatically memorized the new tension
setting value.)
5. Clear Key :
To go back to the previous tension setting, press “C” key.
It is only available before the present new tension setting is stored.
6. Tension Index Keys :
Change the tension setting in +/-1.0 or 0.1 Lb or Kg
increments. Holding the keys down will scroll the
tension setting values up or down.
7. Start Pulling Key :
To start pulling the string, press “START” key.
(You may also pull the string by pressing the green
tensioning switch next to the string gripper directly.)
8. Reversing Key :
To release the string, press “R” key.
(You may also release the string by pressing the green
tensioning switch next to the string gripper directly.)

9. Tension Setting :
A). KNOT Tension Setting
Press “KNOT” key and machine will increase pulling tension
by 10% over the selected MAIN or CROSS tension for one
pull. For example: Set 60.0 pounds at MAIN tension..
1). Press “KNOT” key and screen will display “KNOT 66.0
lbs” for one pull.
2). After one pull, screen will turn back to “MAIN 60.0 lbs”.
B). MAIN Tension Setting
Press “MAIN” key and “Main” word will displayed on screen.
Set the desired main tension by +1.0, -1.0, +0.1, -0.1 keys.
For example: Set the mains to 50.0 pounds.
1). Press “MAIN” key to setup the main tension.
2). Hold the “+/-1.0 or +/-0.1” key down until the desired
tension 50.0 - pound is shown up on the screen.
3). Press “M” key to store this 50.0-pound tension setting
as main tension or wait for 3 seconds to let the machine
automatically store this 60.0-pound tension setting as
main tension. There will be one beep sound indicating
the automatic memory.
C). CROSS Tension
Press “CROSS” key and “Cross” word will displayed on
screen. Set the desired cross tension by +1.0, -1.0, +0.1, -0.1
keys. For example: Set the cross to 56.0 pounds.
1). Press “CROSS” key to setup the cross tension
2). Hold the “+/-1.0 or +/-0.1” key down until the desired
tension 56.0 - pound is shown up on the screen.
3). Press “M” key to store this 56.0-pound tension setting
as cross tension or wait for 3 seconds to let the machine
automatically store this 56.0-pound tension setting as
cross tension. There will be one beep sound indicating
the automatic memory.

TENSIONER OPERATION
1. Setting the control panel :
a). Set the tension display in KG or LB by pressing the KG/LB key.
b). Select pre-stretch value – 0%, 10% or 20% by pressing PRE-STRETCH key.
c). Select speed– high, medium or low by pressing SPEED ke y.
d). Select the stringing pattern – Knot, Main or Cross by pressing KNOT, MAIN
or CROSS keys.
e). Set the desired tension by holding the +/-1.0 or +/-0.1 kgs or lbs keys down.
Press “M” key immediately or wait for 3 seconds to store the tension setting.
2. Tensioning a string
Pass the string over the top of the
string gripper and wrap the string
clockwise around the gripper drum
and position of the string between the
gripper jaws.
Press the green tensioning switch next
to the string gripper or START key on
the control panel to activate the
tensioner.
3. Releasing a string:
To release the string after clamping, press the green tensioning switch next to
the string gripper again or “R” key on the control panel.

SWIVEL CLAMP OPERATION
Different strings and different gauges require different adjustments. Adjustment can
usually be done by finger tips. Note that the handle of the swivel clamp should be
lifted before adjustment.
SWIVEL CLAMP BASE OPERATION
The lever on the swivel clamp base is turned clockwise to lock the base. To unlock,
the lever is turned counterclockwise. If the swivel clamp base doesn’t lock well to the
turntable or the locking angle of the lever of the clamp base is too big, you may adjust
the nut beneath the clamp base by a 17 mm wrench clockwise or counterclockwise.
