FR - MISE EN SERVICE
Cet appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés d’au moins 8 ans et par
des personnes ayant des capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales
réduites ou dénuées d’expérience ou de connaissance, s’ils (si elles) sont
correctement surveillé(e)s ou si des instructions relatives à l’utilisation de
l’appareil en toute sécurité leur ont été données et si les risques encourus
ont été appréhendés. Les enfants ne doivent pas jouer avec l’appareil. Le
nettoyage et l’entretien doivent être effectués par du personnel qualifié.

doit être connecté à l’arrière du sèche main.

Le sèche-mains est livré avec un cordon d’alimentation. L’entrée
de celui-ci se trouve à l’arrière de l’unité, en bas à droite. Ce
cordon, long d’un mètre, peut aller jusqu'à 55 cm à droite de
l’unité et 45 cm à gauche. L’appareil peut aussi être raccordé à
un bornier, via une ouverture défonçable sur le panneau arrière.

Installation
1. Fixez le gabarit d’installation à l’emplacement approprié sur la surface de montage à l’aide de ruban adhésif.
Percez huit trous aux emplacements repérés (fig. 1).
2. Retirez le gabarit et insérez huit chevilles en plastique (fournies) dans les trous percés (fig. 2).
3. Insérez huit vis (fournies) pour fixer la plaque arrière dans les chevilles en plastique supérieures (fig. 3).
4. Suspendez le sèche-mains sur la plaque de base (fig. 4)).
5. À l’aide de la clé Allen (fournie), déverrouillez et retirez le tiroir d’accès au filtre. Serrez les vis de blocage à travers
le trou au bas du sèche-mains. Réinsérez le tiroir d’accès au filtre dans le sèche-mains et vissez la vis de sécurité
(fig. 5 ).
6. a. Raccordez l'alimentation câblée fournie au niveau de l’ouverture défonçable au bornier derrière le panneau du
capot (en bas à droite) derrière le tiroir d’accès au filtre. Mettez en route le disjoncteur pour activer l’état "en
attente, prêt à fonctionner".
Branchements :
A. Branchez le fil de phase (marron) sur la borne "L".
B. Branchez le neutre (bleu) sur la borne "N".
C. Branchez le fil de mise à la terre sur la borne " ". Les fils de mise à la terre nus doivent être gainés avec une
gaine jaune et verte. Les couleurs des fils de phase et de neutre dépendent de la tension d’alimentation et des
exigences du code électrique et de construction en vigueur.
6. b. Mettez en route l’alimentation pour activer l’état "en attente, prêt à fonctionner".
7. Remontez le tiroir d’accès au filtre, en veillant à ne pas trop serrer la vis de sécurité.
8. Voir les sections séparées des options du propriétaire pour le fonctionnement du chauffage et le réglage de la
vitesse d’écoulement de l’air.

Nettoyage
Pour des performances optimales, il est recommandé de nettoyer l’unité régulièrement.
Essuyez le capot avec un chiffon humide et une solution nettoyante douce.
Ne le faites pas tremper, et ne le lavez pas au jet.
Ne nettoyez jamais le capot avec des produits abrasifs. Les produits chimiques caustiques peuvent
endommager la finition de l’unité.
Aucune pièce interne ne nécessite de nettoyage régulier.
Réglage de la vitesse d’écoulement de l’air
Il est possible de régler la vitesse d’écoulement d’air du sèche-mains pour modifier l'intensité du bruit qu'il
émet lorsqu'il est en marche. Toutefois, la réduction de la vitesse du moteur se traduit par l'augmentation du
temps de séchage. L’intérêt d'une telle modification est fonction des besoins du propriétaire. Le moteur est
réglé en usine à la vitesse maximale. Pour régler la vitesse du sèche-mains, procédez comme suit :
1. À l’aide de la clé Allen (fournie), déverrouillez et retirez le tiroir d’accès au filtre (fig. 1).
2. Avec un petit tournevis plat, tournez doucement l’axe du potentiomètre de réglage (fig. 2) dans le sens des
aiguilles d’une montre pour augmenter la vitesse jusqu’au maximum (l’axe s’arrête contre une butée ; NE
TOURNEZ PAS PLUS !).
3. Tournez l’outil doucement dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre pour réduire la vitesse tel que
requis (l’axe s’arrête contre une butée ; NE TOURNEZ PAS PLUS !). Notez qu’à la puissance minimale, il se
peut que l’unité ne démarre pas si la tension de ligne est trop faible.
4. Réinsérez le tiroir d’accès au filtre dans le sèche-mains et vissez la vis de sécurité.

Interrupteur Marche/Arrêt de l’élément de chauffage
Le sèche-mains est doté d'un interrupteur qui permet d’activer ou de désactiver le chauffage. Cet interrupteur
n’a aucune incidence sur le temps de séchage. Dans les climats froids, il peut être plus agréable que le
chauffage soit activé pour le séchage des mains. À noter cependant que la désactivation du chauffage
permet de réduire d’un tiers l’énergie consommée. Cette fonctionnalité peut être réglée en fonction des
besoins du propriétaire.
L’interrupteur du chauffage est réglé sur ON en usine. Procédez comme suit pour activer/désactiver le
chauffage.
1. À l’aide de la clé Allen (fournie), déverrouillez et retirez le tiroir d’accès au filtre (fig. 1).
2. Déplacez l’interrupteur vers la droite pour activer le chauffage et vers la gauche pour le désactiver (fig. 2).
3. Réinsérez le tiroir d’accès au filtre dans le sèche-mains et vissez la vis de sécurité.
Conversion de l’alimentation par cordon (fourni) à une alimentation murale (non fournie)
Commencez par les étapes illustrées aux figures 1 à 3. Retirez la partie supérieure du carter de la soufflante
(voir fig. 4, section Remplacement du moteur).
Débranchez le cordon d’alimentation du bornier et du presse-étoupe à l’aide de la clé en C fournie. Branchez
une alimentation (non fournie) d’une tension appropriée pour le modèle sélectionné à l’emplacement indiqué
sur le schéma détaillé A et à l’étape 5.b . Insérez le cordon d’alimentation dans le serre-câble et suivez les
étapes de branchement A à C de la procédure 6.a .
Pour une insertion plus facile dans le bornier des fils à âme multibrin de 1,0 mm² à 1,5 mm² et de meilleurs
résultats, insérez des embouts à sertir sur les extrémités des fils avant d’insérer le câble dans le serre-câble.
Si un câble d’alimentation solide est utilisé, les embouts à sertir ne sont pas requis.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand
the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and maintenance shall be made by qualified staff.

A bad earth connection can cause severe electrical shocks that can lead to death.
Disconnect the power supply at the circuit breaker before installation and maintenance.
All hand-driers must be installed with a 3-core cable. The earth cable must be
connected to the back of the hand-drier.

The dryer is supplied with a power cord. The power cord entry
position is in the rear, right side bottom of dryer. The length of
the power cord is 1M. The power cord can reach to the right side
within the distance of 55cm and reach to the left side within the
distance of 45cm. Alternatively the unit may be hard wired to a
terminal block through a rear panel Knock Out.

Installation
7. Tape the installation template to the appropriate location on the mounting surface. Drill eight holes at marked
locations.(fig. 1).
8. Remove template and Insert eight (8) plastic anchors (supplied) into drilled holes (fig. 2).
9. Insert eight screws (supplied) to fix backplate into top plastic anchors (fig. 3).
10.Hang the dryer on the base plate (fig. 4).
11.Use Allen key (supplied) to unlock and withdraw filter access drawer. Tighten locking screw through the hole at the
bottom of the dryer. Insert the filter access drawer back into the dryer and lock the security screw. (fig. 5 ).
12.a.Connect hard wired power provided at K.O. location to terminal block behind cover panel (RH-bottom) behind
filter access drawer. Turn on circuit breaker to initiate ‘stand by- ready to operate’ status.
Connections :
D. Connect the live wire (Brown) to the terminal block marked "L".
E. Connect the neutral wire (Blue) to the terminal block marked "N".
F. Connect the ground wire to the terminal block marked " " . Bare grounding (earth) wires should be sleeved with
green and yellow tubing. Colors of live and neutral wires depend on voltage of supply service and requirements of
Building and Electrical Code having jurisdiction.
9. b.Energize power supply to initiate ‘stand by- ready to operate’ status.
10.Replace the filter access drawer, being careful to not over-tighten the security screw.
11.See separate sections for owner options on heater operation and air speed adjustment.

Cleaning
Periodic cleaning of the unit is recommended to ensure optimal performance.
Wipe the cover with a damp cloth and mild cleaning solution.
Do not Soak, Do not hose down.
Never use abrasives to clean the cover. Caustic chemicals may damage unit finish.
No internal parts need any regular cleaning.
Air Speed Adjustment
It is possible to adjust the speed of the dryer to change the sound level during operation. However, when
lowering the motor speed, the drying time will increase. The usefulness of this function will be dependent on
the needs of the owner. The factory setting for dryer's motor speed will be set at its highest speed. See below
for how to adjust the dryer speed :
5. Use Allen key (supplied) to unlock and withdraw the filter access drawer.(fig. 1).
6. Use a small flat blade screwdriver to gently turn adjustment potentiometer(fig. 2) shaft clock- wise to
increase power to maximum (shaft will hard stop; DO NOTOVERTURN!).
7. Turn tool gently clock- wise to reduce power as required (shaft will hard stop; DO NOT OVERTURN!). Note
that at minimum power the unit may not start if there is low line Voltage.
8. Insert the filter access drawer back into the dryer and lock the security screw.

Heater Element Switch ON/ OFF
The dryer has been designed with a heater switch that can turn the heater ON & OFF. The heater switch
doesn't affect the drying time. In cold climate location, it may be more comfortable if the heat it is on when
drying hands. However, it will save a third of the energy used if the switch is off. This function can be
adjusted depending on the needs of the owner.
The factory setting for the heater will be on. See below for how to turn the heater ON/OFF.
4. Use Allen key (supplied) to unlock and withdraw filter access drawer. (fig. 1).
5. Turn the Switch to the right to turn the heater ON. Switch it to the left to turn the heater OFF. (fig. 2)
6. Insert the filter access drawer back into dryer and lock the security screw.
Conversion from power cord (as supplied) to in-wall power supply (by others).
Start with steps fig’s 1-3. Remove blower housing upper see step fig. 4 under motor replacement.
Remove power cord from terminal block and strain relief using C-socket wrench provided. Connect power
supply (by others) in appropriate voltage for model selected at location per diagram in detail A (pg.2 this
manual) and step 5.b. (pg. 3 this manual). Feed power cord into cord-grip strain relief and follow step 6.a.
Connections A-C (pg. 3 this manual).
Insertion of 1.0mm² -1.5mm² stranded wires into terminal block receptacles will be easier and provide better
results if crimp-on wire tips are installed on wire ends prior to feeding cable through cord-grip. If solid wire
power cable is used, crimp on tips are not required.

Reichweite des Stromkabels

Der Trockner wird mit einem Stromkabel geliefert. Die
Anschlussbuchse für das Stromkabel befindet sich auf der
Rückseite des Trockners unten rechts. Die Länge des
Stromkabels beträgt 1 m. Das Stromkabel kann auf der rechten
Seite über 55 cm reichen und auf der linken Seite auf 45 cm.
Alternativ kann die Einheit auch fest mit dem Geräteblock über
eine Ausbruch-Leiste verdrahtet werden.

Installation
1. Fixieren Sie das Schild der Installation an die richtige Stelle auf der Montagefläche. Bohren Sie acht Löcher an
den markierten Stellen (Bild 1).
2. Nehmen Sie das Schild ab und führen Sie acht (8) Plastikanker (mitgeliefert) in die gebohrten Löcher ein (Bild 2).
3. Führen Sie acht Schrauben (mitgeliefert)ein, um die Rückwand mit den Plastikankern zu befestigen (Bild 3) .
4. Hängen Sie den Trockner in die Grundplatte ein (Bild 4) .
5. Verwenden Sie den Allen-Schlüssel (mitgeliefert), um das Zugangsfach zum Filter herauszuziehen. Ziehen Sie die
Verschlussschraube über das Loch unten auf dem Fach an. Schieben Sie das Zugangsfach zum Filter wieder in
den Trockner ein und ziehen sie die Sicherheitsschraube an. (Bild 5) .
6. a. Schließen Sie den mitgelieferten fest verdrahteten Stromanschluss an die K.O.-Buchse des Geräteblocks
hinter der Abdeckplatte an (RH-Grund) hinter dem Zugangsfach zum Filter an. Drehen Sie den Schutzschalter,
um den Status „Stand-by-Betriebsbereit“ auszulösen.
Anschlüsse :
A. Schließen Sie das Stromkabel (braun) an die mit "L" markierte Stelle am Geräteblock an.
B. Schließen Sie das Nullkabel (blauer) an die mit "N" markierte Stelle am Geräteblock an.
C. Schließen Sie das Erdungskabel an die mit " " markierte Stelle am Geräteblock an. Die nackten Erdungskabel
sollten mit einem grünen und gelben oder grünen Schlauch ummantelt sein. Die Farben der Erdungsbündel und
Nullkabel hängen von der Spannung der Versorgungsleitung und den Anforderungen der einschlägigen
Vorschriften zum Bauwesen und Stromversorgung ab.
6. b.Drehen Sie den Schutzschalter, um den Status „Stand-by-betriebsbereit“ auszulösen.
7. Tauschen Sie das Zugangsfach zum Filter aus, wobei Sie darauf achten müssen, die Sicherheitsschraube nicht zu
stark anzuziehen.
8. Siehe gesonderte Absätze zu den Optionen des Eigentümers beim Betrieb des Heizgeräts und die Einstellung der
Luftgeschwindigkeit.
