all packaging materials are kept out of reach of children.

NOTE: The Fan can be used only when completely and correctly assembled, that is
complete with its base and support.
1. Remove all parts of the Fan from the gift box and lay out in front of you.
2. The body of the Fan comes pre-assembled and does not require any further
assembly.
3. Gently place the Fan face down on a flat surface with the bottom facing toward
you. Unscrew the base nut from the short threaded shaft and slide it down the
power cable away from the bottom of the Fan.
4. Fit the front or rear base piece
to the bottom of the Fan body
by aligning the centre hole in
the base piece with the short
threaded shaft of the Fan body.
5. Slowly rotate the base piece until
the locating lug on the Fan body
aligns with the small hole in the
Fan base piece.
6. Fit the second base piece following steps 4 and 5, ensuring that the male and
female alignment pins near the outer edges of the base pieces fit snugly together.
7. Gently push and lock the base pieces together using the locking tabs located
between each of the alignment pins on both base pieces. Gently squeeze the
tabs until they open and push the base piece firmly together so that the locking
tab secures the base pieces together. Repeat for both locking tabs.
8. Slide the base nut along the power cable until it reaches the threaded shaft on
the bottom of the Fan body.
9. Tighten the nut onto the threaded shaft. This will secure the base to the Fan body.
10. Loop the power cord through the three slots found on the under side of the base.
Then slot the power cord into the groove found in the side of the base. If the power
cord is not slotted correctly into the side groove, the base will become unstable.
NOTE: Do not over tighten the base nut onto the Fan body. Do not use tools only
your fingers to adjust the nut.
CAUTION: Do not use the Fan with the base resting on the power cable. The cable
must be passed through the slots found on the under side of the base.

Remote Control
The Fan has a remote control that allows for remote operation of the Fan’s functions.
When using the remote control ensure that you are in eyesight of the Fan and are
pointing the remote control directly at the Fan.
1. Installing Batteries
Battery Installation
Use only 1.5V “AAA” alkaline batteries with this device (included).
1. Locate the arrow on the bottom of the battery cover and push the cover up, in
the direction of the arrow. Once the cover is loose, lift it off in the direction of the
arrow.
2. Install 2 “AAA” size batteries so the + (positive) and - (negative) polarities match
the polarities on the battery compartment, then replace the battery cover. Make
sure that the battery cover is securely in position.
NOTE: If the Fan is not responsive, move closer to the Fan and ensure that there is
nothing between the remote control and the Fan itself. If the Fan continues to be
un-responsive, check and replace the batteries found in the remote control if required.
The remote control’s buttons operate indentically to those on the control panel. To
select or alter any function, use the remote control as you would the control panel.
CAUTION: Dispose of all used batteries at designated disposal points. Never
dispose of batteries in a fire as this may cause an explosion or leakage of
dangerous chemical and fumes.

• The Fan will default to the low speed setting and normal breeze mode. The Lo and
Mode indicator lights will illuminate red on the LED indicator panel and the Fan will

To use the remote control to program and activate the timer, point the remote control at
the Fan and press the TIMER button and follow the above steps from point 2 onwards.
NOTE: Any changes made to the programmed time while the timer is active will
cause the timer to reset and begin the countdown once more. Changing speed
and breeze modes had no effect on the active timer settings.
Breeze Mode Selection
There are 3 different breeze modes available for selection and are explained below:
Normal Mode - This is the default mode of the Fan. Normal mode can be identified
on the LED indicator panel when the Mode indicator light is illuminated red. When
normal mode is selected the Fan will run continually at a constant speed.
Natural Mode – Alters the Fan speed automatically to mimic natural wind motion.
Natural mode can be identified on the LED indicator panel when the Mode indicator
light is illuminated green.
Sleep Mode - This mode gradually reduces the Fan speed over time to become quieter
and provide softer and slower air flow, ideal for night time use. This mode can be
identified on the LED indicator panel when the Mode indicator is illuminated with both the
green and red lights. The Fan will automatically reduce 1 speed setting every 0.5 hours
until the Fan reaches the low speed setting, where it will continue to operate.
Example: If medium speed is selected when sleep breeze mode is activated, the Fan
will run for 0.5 hours at medium speed then automatically reduce to low speed for an
additional 0.5 hours then continue at low speed.
