SAFETY AND GENERAL INFORMATION
Save these instructions for future use. Study, understand
and follow all instructions before operating this device. The
owner and operator of this device shall have an under-
standing of the product and safe operating procedures
before attempting to use. If any doubt exists as to the safe
and proper use of this product, remove from service imme-
diately. Instructions and safety materials shall be conveyed
in the operator’s native language before use of this product
is authorized.
• Study, understand and follow all instructions before operating this device.
• When using this air compressor, basic safety precautions should always be followed to reduce risk of re or electrical
shock.
• Do not exceed rated pressure of the item being inated.
• Do not leave device operating and unattended.
• If DC plug fuse is blown, only replace with fuse of identical rating.
• This device contains a DC motor and components which may arc during normal operation. This arcing may ignite
ammable gases. Do not operate in a ammable environment.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• The power cord on this product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects
or other reproductive harm. Wash hands after handling (California law requires this warning to be given to customers
in the State of California).
• Do not alter this product.
• Failure to heed these markings may result in personal injury and/or property damage.
!WARNING
Inspect before each use. Do not use if bent, broken, melt-
ed, burned or otherwise damaged components are noted.
A compressor that is damaged in any way or operates
abnormally shall be removed from service immediately.
This unit is designed for intermittent use only. Operation
beyond it’s designed duty cycle may result in compressor
and/or vehicle damage. NEVER exceed rated pressure of
the item being inated. If rated pressure is exceeded, the
item being inated may burst.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Pro-Lift Air Compressor is designed to inate automo-
tive and light truck tires to manufacturer’s recommended
pressure. It can also be used to inate inatables such as
rafts, cushions and sports balls. It has a built-in LED work
light and ashing red LED warning light . Refer to the ve-
hicle’s owners manual or inatable product owner’s manual
before using the compressor.

A. High Pressure Inatables (Tires)
1. Remove air hose and screw inator nozzle onto tire
stem.
2. Remove Power Cord from storage compartment and
insert into a suitable outlet or 12V DC source. Toggle
compress ON/OFF switch to ON position. Unit will begin
inating.
3. Inate until object reaches its original shape, use pres-
sure gauge as a reference for desired pressure (deter-
mined from vehicle or tire manufacturer’s specication).
4. When near correct operating pressure, toggle compres-
sor ON/OFF switch to OFF and unplug the inator power
cord.
5. Use a tire gauge to check ination and adjust to desired
pressure as recommended by the vehicle and/or tire
manufacturer.
NOTICE: Always double check air pressure using a reli-
able pressure gauge.
B. Low Pressure Inatables
1. To inate air mattresses, beach balls, life jackets, etc.,
select the suitable adapter (Fig. 3), then insert and se-
cure into the end of the air hose (Fig. 2).
2. Insert the connector adapter into the appropriate receiver
on the inatable.
3. Plug the inator into a DC 12V outlet. Toggle compres-
sor ON/OFF switch to ON position. Unit should com-
mence ination.
4. Inate to a pressure or level of rmness recommended
by the manufacturer. Toggle compressor ON/OFF
switch to OFF then unplug the power cord from the DC
12V outlet.
C. Operating the Work Light
1. Plug the Compressor into a suitable 12V DC power
source.
2. Toggle Light switch to II position for steady, high-intensi-
ty, work light. Toggle switch to I position for emergency
red ashing light. Centered switch position extinguishes
light.
E. REPLACING THE FUSE
(15A 6mm dia. x 30mm glass tube current fuse)
1. Unscrew the plastic 12V DC plug cap.
2. Gently remove 15A fuse and replace with fuse of same
rating and size.
3. Place fuse properly in position to allow installation of
plastic cap.
4. Reinstall plastic 12V DC plug cap.
TIPS FOR OPERATION
1. Ensure vehicle battery is sufciently charged to operate
compressor.
2. If Compressor does not operate when plugged into a
DC 12V outlet, check connections at back of DC 12V
plug as well the fuse receptacle. Replace as needed
with a fuse of identical rating. Never replace with fuse
of higher rating. No user replaceable parts exist for this
item, refer any repairs to qualied personnel only.
3. Do not overheat the Compressor, monitor cycle times
(Compressor on and off periods). Never exceed 15 min-
utes continuous running. Let unit cool for 15 minutes,
then reattempt use.
4. Operate and store in a clean, dry environment. Do not
obstruct the unit’s cooling vents.
Performance Tip: Keep your tires inated per the vehicle’s
owner’s manual. This will increase gas mileage and re-
duce tire wear.

For a period of ninety (90) days from date of purchase, SFA Companies, Inc. will repair or replace, at its option, without
charge, any of its products which fails due to a defect in material or workmanship, or which fails to conform to any implied
warranty not excluded hereby.
Performance of any obligation under this warranty may be obtained by returning the warranted product, freight prepaid, to
SFA Companines, Inc. Warranty Service Department, 10939 N. Pomona Ave., Kansas City, MO 64153.
Except where such limitations and exclusions are specically prohibited by applicable law, (1) the CONSUMER’S SOLE
AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY SHALL BE THE REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AS DESCRIBED
ABOVE, and (2) SFA Companies, Inc. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGE
OR LOSS WHATSOEVER, and (3) THE DURATION OF ANY AND ALL EXPRESSED AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, IS LIMITED TO A PERIOD OF NINETY (90) DAYS FROM DATE OF PURCHASE.
