How To Begin
Begin on the channel that is being
added or deleted.
For this example, Channel 1 will be removed
from the scan list.
Toggle Menu Options
Press the up/down keys until
the “Scan List” menu option is
displayed.
Access the Short Menu
Press the menu function key,
the default is the S/M Key, long
press.

Adding and deleting channels from the scan list allows you to personalize the channels that will be
monitored when the scan function is activated.
Press the S/M Key
Press the S/M key to select the
menu option. The current setting
will be displayed.
Press the S/M Key
Press the S/M key to select the
desired setting.
Use the Up or Down Keys
Cycle through the setting
options. The scan list options are
“ON” or “OFF”.

PLEASE NOTE
Scan List is Per Channel
This means that the change is made to the channel that is selected when the short menu is accessed and, if wanted, each
channel needs to be programmed separately.
Large Scan List May Lead to Missed Messages
This is because the radio must stop for a short time on each channel to check for activity before it moves on to the next one.
The more channels you have, the longer it will take to cycle through the list, and for this reason, we reccomend that the scan
list only has the channels you absolutely need for the best performance of employees.

Exit the Menu
Press the F Key, or it will exit
automatically after an amount of
inactivity.
Repeat
Repeat the process on any
channel that is needed to be
added or deleted to the scan list.
When Finished
At least two channels are needed
for the scan function to work.
