3. GENERAL WARNINGS
FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!
Before use, read and understand the installation and operation instructions in this
manual to become familiar with how this riding mower works. Failure to follow all
instructions listed below may result in electric shock, re, and/ or serious injury.
1. Always safeguard these operating instructions so that they can be consulted if
you need any information about the appliance.
2. Only pass on the appliance to other people together with these operating
instructions.
3. Comply with the safety and warning information in these operating instructions.
4. The riding mowers are supplied with different levels of equipment. Please note
that the illustrations may differ somewhat from the original. Please contact a
specialist workshop or the manufacturer if you encounter difficulties in following
the descriptions.
5. Comply with the supplied assembly instructions.
Carefully read this instruction manual completely. Abide by all
the “SAFETY REGULATTIONS” before, during, and after using the machine.
Keep this manual and all the attachments for any future consultation.
In case of any change in ownership, the manual must be handed over together with
the machine.

This machine was built to be operated according to the safe practices in
this manual. As with any type of power equipment, carelessness or error on the part of
the operator can result in serious injury. This machine is capable of throwing objects and
amputating ngers, hands, toes, and feet. Failure to observe the following safety
instructions could result in serious injury or death. Non-observance will result in the risk
of serious injury or death to oneself or others.
These give details or further
information on what has already been said, with the aim of preventing damage to the

4. GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
Read understand and follow all instructions on the machine and in
the manual before attempting to operate. Keep this manual in a safe place for future and
regular reference, and for ordering replacement parts.
When using electric riding mowers basic safety precautions should
always be followed to reduce the risk of re, electric shock, and personal injuries.
Become familiar with the basic precautions outlined in the following pages.

48 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM
Servicing requires extreme care and knowledge of the system and should be performed
only by a qualied service technician contact PRORUN Customer Service with questions
or issues with this machine. Always use original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM)
replacement parts when servicing.
WORK AREA SAFETY
1. Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered or dark areas invite accidents.
2. Do not operate machines in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases or dust. Machines create sparks which may ignite the
dust or fumes.
3. Keep children and bystanders away while operating a machine. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
ELECTRICAL SAFETY
1. Machine plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not
use any adapter plugs with earthed (grounded) machines. Unmodified plugs and
matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
2. Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such as pipes, radiators,
ranges and refrigerators. There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is
earthed or grounded.
3. Do not expose machines to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a machine will
increase the risk of electric shock.
4. Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the
machine. Keep cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged
or entangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.
5. When operating a machine outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor
use. Use of a cord suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
6. If operating a machine in a damp location is unavoidable, use a residual current
device (RCD) protected supply. Use of an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.

PERSONAL SAFETY
1. Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a
machine. Do not use a machine while you are tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol, or medication. A moment of inattention while operating machines
may result in serious personal injury.
2. Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protection. Protective
equipment such as a dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat or hearing
protection used for appropriate conditions will reduce personal injuries.
3. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the off position before
connecting to power source and/or battery pack, picking up or carrying the
machine. Carrying machines with your finger on the switch or energizing
machines that have the switch on invites accidents.
4. Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the machine on. A wrench or
a key left attached to a rotating part of the machine may result in personal injury.
5. Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all times. This enables
better control of the machine in unexpected situations.
6. Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Keep your hair and clothing
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry or long hair can be caught in
moving parts.
7. If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction and collection
facilities, ensure these are connected and properly used. Use of dust collection
can reduce dust-related hazards.
8. Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of machines allow you to become
complacent and ignore machine safety principles. A careless action can cause
severe injury within a fraction of a second.
MACHINE USE AND CARE
1. Do not force the machine. Use the correct machine for your application. The
correct machine will do the job better and safer at the rate for which it was
designed.
2. Do not use the machine if the switch does not turn it on and off. Any machine that
cannot be controlled with the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
3. Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or remove the battery pack, if
detachable, from the machine before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing machines. Such preventive safety measures reduce the
risk of starting the machine accidentally.

4. Store idle machines out of the reach of children and do not allow persons
unfamiliar with the machine or these instructions to operate the machine.
Machines are dangerous in the hands of untrained users.
5. Maintain machines and accessories. Check for misalignment or binding of
moving parts, breakage of parts and any other condition that may affect the
machine’s operation. If damaged, have the machine repaired before use. Many
accidents are caused by poorly maintained machines.
6. Keep cutting machines sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting machines
with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
7. Use the machine, accessories and machine bits etc. in accordance with these
instructions, taking into account the working conditions and the work to be
performed. Use of the machine for operations different from those intended could
result in a hazardous situation.
8. Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from oil and grease.
Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do not allow for safe handling and
control of the machine in unexpected situations.
BATTERY MACHINE USE AND CARE
1. Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is
suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with
another battery pack.
2. Use machines only with specifically designated battery packs. Use of any other
battery packs may create a risk of injury and fire.
3. When the battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects, like
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects, that can make
a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a fire.
4. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected from the battery; avoid contact.
If contact accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid contacts eyes, additionally
seek medical help. Liquid ejected from the battery may cause irritation or burns.
5. Do not use a battery pack or machine that is damaged or modified. Damaged or
modified batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in fire, explosion
or risk of injury.
6. Do not expose a battery pack or machine to fire or excessive temperature.
Exposure to fire or temperature above 130 °C may cause an explosion.

7. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge the battery pack or machine
outside the temperature range specified in the instructions. Charging improperly
or at temperatures outside the specified range may damage the battery and
increase the risk of fire.
SERVICE
1. Have your machine serviced by a qualified repair person using only identical
replacement parts. This will ensure that the safety of the machine is maintained.
2. Never service damaged battery packs. Service of battery packs should only be
performed by the manufacturer or authorized service providers.
Never mow while people, especially children, or pets nearby.
GENERAL OPERATION SAFETY
1. Read the instructions carefully. Be familiar with the controls and how to use the
equipment properly. Keep this manual in a safe place for future and regular
reference and for ordering replacement parts. Know how to stop the machine and
disengage it quickly.
2. Be familiar with all controls and their proper operation. Know how to stop the
machine and disengage it quickly.
3. This machine is a precision piece of power equipment, not a plaything. Therefore
always exercise extreme caution. This machine has been designed to perform
one job: to mow grass. Do not use it for any other purpose.
4. In case of a system fault or a complete loss of battery power the mower can
freewheel. Depress the Brake Pedal to maintain control and stop the unit. Restart
the mower. If the problem persists, contact your Dealer or Service center.
5. Never carry passengers.
6. Never allow children under the age of 14 years of age to operate this machine.
Children 14 and over should read and understand the instructions and safe
operation practices in this manual, and on the machine, and should be trained
and supervised by an adult.
7. Never allow people unfamiliar with these instructions to use the machine. Local
regulations can restrict the age of the user.
8. Do not charge or operate the mower in the rain or in wet areas.
9. Do not mow on wet grass. Reduced traction could cause sliding.
10. Mow only in daylight or good artificial light. Never mow while dark.

11. In case of a system fault or complete loss of battery power, the mower can
freewheel. Depress the brake pedal to maintain control and stop the unit. Restart
the mower if the problem persists contact PRORUN Customer Service.
12. Keep in mind that the operator or user is responsible for accidents or hazards
occurring to other people or their property.
13. Never carry passengers.
14. All drivers should seek and obtain professional and practical instruction. Such
instruction should emphasize:
▪The need for care and concentration when working with ride-on machines.
▪You cannot use the brake to regain control of a ride-on machine sliding down a
slope. The main reasons for loss of control are.
▪Insufficient wheel grip.
▪Over-speeding.
▪Inadequate braking.
▪The type of machine is unsuitable for its task.
▪Unawareness of the effect of ground conditions, especially slopes.
▪Incorrect hitching and load distribution.
15. To help avoid blade contact or a thrown object injury, keep bystanders, helpers,
children, and pets, at least 75 feet from the machine while it is operational. Stop
mower if anybody enters the area.
16. Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment is to be used. Remove all
stones, sticks, wire, bones, toys, and other foreign objects which could be picked
up and thrown by the blade(s). Thrown objects can cause serious personal
injury.
17. Plan your mowing pattern to avoid discharge of material towards roads,
sidewalks, bystanders, and the like. Also, avoid discharging material against a
wall or obstruction which may cause discharge material to ricochet back
towards the operator.
18. Always wear safety glasses or safety goggles to protect your eyes during
operation and while performing an adjustment or repair. Thrown objects which
ricochet can cause serious injury to the eyes.
19. Wear sturdy, rough-soled work shoes and close-fitting slacks and shirts. Loose
fitting clothes and jewelry can be caught in movable parts. Never operate this
machine with bare feet or sandals.

20. Be aware of the mower and attachment discharge direction and do not point it
at anyone. Do not operate the mower without the discharge cover in its proper
place.
21. Do not put hands or feet near rotating parts or under the cutting deck. Contact
with the blade(s) can amputate hands and feet.
22. A missing or damaged discharge cover can cause blade contact or thrown
object injuries.
23. Stop the blades when crossing gravel drives walks or roads and while not cutting
grass.
24. Watch for traffic when operating near or crossing roadways this machine is not
intended for use on any public roadways.
25. Do not operate the machine while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
26. Back up slowly. Always look down, and behind before and while backing to avoid
a back-over accident. Be aware and pay attention to the safety system function
that stops power to the blades when driving in reverse. If not functioning
properly, contact PRORUN Customer Service or an authorized dealer for safety
system inspection and repair.
27. Slow down before turning. Operate the machine smoothly avoid erratic operation
and excessive speed.
28. Stop the mower, disengage blades, set parking brake and wait until the blade
comes to a complete stop before unclogging the chute, removing any grass or
debris, or making any adjustments.
29. Never leave a powered machine running and unattended. Always stop the
mower, turn off the blades, set the parking brake, and remove the Key before
dismounting.
30. Use extra care when loading or unloading the machine into a trailer or truck. This
machine should not be driven up or down ramp(s), because the machine could
tip over causing serious personal injury, The machine must be pushed manually
on ramp(s) to load or unload properly.
31. Do not turn the Key off and coast downhill.
32. Check overhead clearances carefully before driving under low hanging tree
branches, wires, door openings, etc., where the operator may be struck or pulled
from the machine, which could result in serious injury.
33. Do not attempt to mow through unusually tall dry grass (e.g., pasture) or piles of
dry leaves. Dry grass or leaves may build up on the mower’s deck presenting a
potential fire hazard.

34.Use only accessories and attachments approved for this machine by the
machine manufacturer. Read, understand, and follow all instructions provided
with the approved accessory or attachment.
35. Data indicates that operators aged 60 years and above are involved in a large
percentage of riding mower related injuries. These operators should evaluate
their ability to operate the riding mower safely enough to protect themselves
and others from serious injuries.
36. Use safety and slip-resistant footwear, snug fitting clothing and eye, hearing and
head protection devices. Use the anti-vibration(AV) glove.
37. It is believed that a condition called Raynaud’s phenomenon, which affects the
fingers of certain individuals may be brought about by exposure to vibration and
cold. Loss of color and numbness in the fingers. The following precautions are
strongly recommended because the minimum exposure which might trigger the
ailment is unknown.
38.Keep your body warm, especially the head, neck, feet, ankles, hands and wrists.
Maintain good blood circulation by performing vigorous arm exercises during
frequent work breaks and also by not smoking. Limit the hours of operation.
39. All the above mentioned precautions do not guarantee that you will not sustain
white finger disease or carpal tunnel syndrome. Therefore, continual and regular
users should monitor closely the condition of their hand’s fingers. If any of the
above symptoms appear, seek medical advice immediately.
40.During a working day, you should take frequent and adequate breaks to prevent
damage from vibration and damage to the ears.
41. Alert! National regulations (Occupational Safety and Health, environment) may
be present, which can restrict the use of the machine.
42. Long-term exposure to noise can result in permanent hearing impairment. So
always use approved hearing protection.

DESIGNATED USE
The riding mower is intended for mowing in domestic gardens and allotments with a
Max Slope of 15°. Additional applications, such as for mulching, are only permitted if
the original accessories are used and in compliance with the maximum load values.
This appliance is intended solely for use in noncommercial applications. Any other
uses (as well as unauthorized conversions or add-ons) are regarded as contrary to
the intended use and will result in exclusion of the warranty; the manufacturer will
thus decline any responsibility for damage and/or injury suffered by the user or
third parties.
POSSIBLE MISUSE
The riding mower is not designed for commercial use in public parks, sports
grounds, agriculture, or forestry. Check the relevant road traffic regulations before
driving machine on a public road. If transporting the machine on another vehicle
always use approved cargo control tie downs and make sure that the machine is
securely held.
OPERATOR SAFETY
1. Tragic accidents can occur if the operator is not alert to the presence of children.
Children are often attracted to the machine and the mowing activity. They do
not understand the dangers. Never assume that children will remain where you
last saw them.
a) Keep children out of the mowing area and in watchful care of a responsible
adult other than the operator.
b) Be alert and turn the machine off if a child enters the area.
c) To avoid back-over accidents, always look behind and down for small
children.
d) Never carry children, even with the blades shut off, they may fall off and be
seriously injured or interfere with safe machine operation.
e) Use extreme care when approaching blind corners, doorways, shrubs, trees,
or other objects that may block your vision of a child who may run into the
path of the machine.
f) Remove key when machine is unattended to prevent unauthorized operation.

Anyone using the riding lawn mower should rst be acquainted
with the instructions in this manual and completely familiarize themselves with the
controls to ensure correct and safe machine use.
2. Never allow children under 14 years of age to operate the machine. Children 14
years and over should read and understand the instructions, observe safe
operation practices as outlined in this manual and on the machine, and be
trained and supervised by an adult.
3. Comply with local regulations on the minimum age of people operating the
equipment.
4. Do not allow children and young people to play on the machine.
5. Only mow during daylight hours or with good artificial lighting.
6. Keep other people out of the danger area.
7. The user is responsible for accidents involving other people and their property.
8. Only use genuine spare parts and genuine accessories.
9. Repairs on the machine must be carried out by the manufacturer or by one of its
customer service centers.
10. Wear ear protection.
11. The riding mower does not have approval for road use and may not be driven on
public roads.
12. Do not mow during thunderstorms. No protection against lightning strikes.
13. Never drive transversely to the slope.
14. Do not use the riding lawn mower and/or any accessories attached to it in the
event of fatigue, illness, or after the consumption of alcohol, drugs or
medications that impair reaction time and/or ability to focus.
15. Comply with the permitted operating times in your vicinity.
16. The riding mower can cause serious injuries due to its dead weight. Take
particular care when loading and unloading the ride-on mower to transport it on
a vehicle or trailer.
17. This riding mower is not allowed to be towed. Use a suitable vehicle for
transportation on public roads

Do not carry passengers.
1. Such overloads could negatively affect the stability of the machine and
overstress the mechanical parts.
2. Do not make any changes to the machine.
3. Incorrect use of the machine as indicated in this paragraph will invalidate the
warranty and relieve the manufacturer of any liability in case of any ensuring
injuries or damage.
Users of the riding mower must be in good mental and physical shape;
do not use the machine when tired feeling bad or under the inuence of drink, drugs, or
medical products that reduce promptness of reactions.
TOWING
Tow only with a machine that has a hitch designed for
towing.
1. Do not attach towed equipment except at the hitch point.
2. Follow the manufacturer's recommendation for weight limits for towed
equipment and towing on slopes.
3. Never allow children or other others in or on the towed equipment.
4. On slopes, the weight of the towed equipment may cause loss of traction and
loss of control.
5. The maximum weight on the hitch is 50 pounds and the maximum total load is
250 pounds.
6. Loss of traction can occur on slopes 5° (9%) maximum grade.
7. Travel slowly and allow extra distance to stop.
8. Use caution during turns to avoid jack-knifing.
9. Use extra caution when operating in reverse.
10. Do not modify or repair the hitch, replace the hitch if damaged.
11. Travel slowly and allow extra distance to stop.
12. Do not turn the Key off and coast downhill.
TRAINING & PREPERATION
The Driver Must Be Suitably Trained and Should Focus On:
1. Be careful and concentrate during work.
2. The fact that a machine sliding down a gradient cannot be controlled using the
brakes. The main causes of losing control of the machine are:

▪Lack of wheel grip.
▪Too much speed.
▪Inadequate breaking.
▪Machine not suitable for job to be done.
▪Lack of acquaintance with effects deriving from terrain conditions, especially on
slopes.
The Driver Must Be Suitably Prepared and Should Focus On:
1. During work wear solid shoes with non-slip soles and protective clothes.
2. Always use a hearing protection headset, protective eyewear, or a visor.
3. Do not use the equipment if you are barefoot or wearing sandals.
4. Do not use the equipment if you are wearing loose-fitting clothes that may get
caught up.
5. Carefully inspect the area where you intend to use the lawnmower and remove
any objects that could be launched by the machine.
RULES FOR CORRECT OPERATION
Risk of overturning on steep gradients. Do not use the
machine on lawns with slopes above 15°. Remember, there is no such thing as a “safe”
gradient. Moving on sloped lawns requires special care and experience.
To prevent overturning:
1. Always mow either up or down, never mow across slopes.
2. Never stop or start suddenly on slopes.
3. Engage the drive gently and always keep the drive engaged, especially on
downward slopes.
4. Speed must be reduced on slopes and sharp bends.
5. Be careful of mounds, bumps, and hidden hazards.

The driver should be aware:
1. Be very careful when changing direction on slopes.
2. Stop the blade when crossing terrain other than lawns and when the riding
mower is transported to and from the work area.
3. Disengage the blade and drive control before starting the machine.
4. Hands and feet must be kept away from the blade. Always keep away from the
grass unloading opening
5. Watch out for traffic when crossing or near roadways.
6. Never direct discharge of material toward bystanders nor allow anyone near the
machine while in operation.
Before carrying out any inspection, cleaning, and servicing
operations on the machine, stop the machine, take out the ignition Key and follow the
instructions in the operator’s manual.
The blades are sharp, risk of a serious injury!
Before carrying out any inspection, cleaning, and repair operations on the cutting parts,
stop the machine and take out the ignition Key.

1. Wait for the blade and all the moving parts to come to a halt before touching
them. The blade will continue turning for some time after switching off the
machine or disabling the blade control.
2. Disengage the blade during transport and every time it is not used.
GENERAL SERVICE
1. Contact PRORUN Customer Service with questions or issues with this machine.
This will ensure that the safety of the riding mower is maintained.
2. Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is
suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with
another battery pack.
3. Do not use the charger in the rain.
4. Replace batteries if the battery capacity drops below 50% of the initial capacity.
5. The use of old or faulty batteries could cause a system fault that results in loss of
power.
6. Turn off and remove the Key before servicing, cleaning, or removing materials
from the mower.

7. Before cleaning, repairing, or inspecting, make certain the blade(s) and all
moving parts have stopped.
8. Periodically check to make sure the blades come to a complete stop within
approximately 5 seconds after operating the blade disengagement control. If the
blades do not stop within this time frame, contact PRORUN Customer Service.
9. Regularly check the Safety Interlock System for proper function as described later
in this manual. If the Safety Interlock System does not function properly, contact
PRORUN Customer Service.
10. Check the blade(s) at frequent intervals for proper tightness. Also visually inspect
blade(s) for damage (e.g., excessive wear, bent, cracked). Replaced the blade(s)
with the original equipment manufacturer’s (OEM) blade(s) only, listed in this
manual. “Use of parts which do not meet the original equipment specifications
may lead to improper performance and compromise safety1”
11. Mower blades are sharp. Wrap the blade(s) or wear gloves and use extra caution
when servicing them.
12. Keep all nuts, bolts, and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working
condition.
13. Never tamper with the Safety Interlock System or other safety devices. Check their
proper operation regularly.
14. After striking a foreign object, stop the mower and thoroughly inspect the
machine for any damage. Repair the damage before starting and operating.
15. Never attempt to make adjustments or repairs to the mower while it is running.
16. The discharge cover is subject to wear and damage which could expose moving
parts or allow objects to be thrown. For safety precaution, frequently check
components and replace immediately with original equipment manufacturer’s
(OEM) parts only, listed in this manual. Use of part which do not meet the original
equipment specifications may lead to improper performance and compromise
safety!
17. Maintain or replace safety and instruction labels as necessary.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
1. Make sure all the nuts and screws are tight, so the riding mower is in good
operating condition and safe to use.
2. For safety reasons, repair any worn or damaged parts only using original spare
parts. Non-original spare parts may not suit properly and cause damage and
dangers.

3. When the machine must be parked, stored, or left unattended, lower the blade
deck, and remove the ignition Key to prevent unauthorized persons starting the
machine.
4. Regularly check, or have an after-sale center check, the tightening of the blade
and supporting bolts.
5. Blade sharpening and balance adjustment, including removal and refitting, are
demanding operations and will require specific competence, as well as special
equipment. Especially for safety reasons these operations must be carried out by
a specialized after-sale center. The same applies for replacing the blade with a
new one.
Wear heavy gloves.
The riding mower blade is sharp and can cut the skin. You need to take the necessary
precautions whenever you work near or on the blade.
STORAGE
Store idle riding mower indoors when not in use. The mower should be stored in an
indoor dry and locked up place - OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN!
