Pundmann Therm is a water boiler for
vehicles.
It was developed to provide hot water
independent of the electricity infrastruc-
ture.

1. GENERAL
INFORMATION
1.1 INFORMATION ON THE OPERATING
MANUAL
These installation and operating instructions
describe the assembly and use of the boiler and
serves as an important source of information.
Knowledge of all the safety information is
basic condition for safe and long-term use of
the boiler. Moreover always follow the local
accident prevention regulations and general
safety regulations.
The user manual is part of the product and to be
kept close to the boiler.
1.2 EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS
WARNING
This symbol indicates that if these hints are not
repected, it can lead to product damage, mal-
functions and / or result in failure of the device.
DANGER
This symbol indicates possible problems, so
attention is required.
NOTE
This symbol highlights tips and information for
trouble-free operation of the device.

instructions were created following current
regulations and with our best knowledge. The
producer takes no responsibility for potential
translation mistakes.

These instructions should be read before using
the Boilers are read to the end! The manufac-
turer takes no responsibility for damage and
malfunctions resulting from not following the
instructions.
The instructions should always be kept near the
boiler. Technical changes to the product as part
of the product improvement. We reserve the
right to further develop the product.
1.4 DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY
Pundmann Therm is manufactured in accord-
ance with European standards: EN13445: 2014;
EN 60335-1; EN 60335-2-21; EN 55014; DVGW
worksheet W270; Guidelines KTW.
2. SAFETY
This section gives an overview of safety
aspects.
In addition, please check symbols and markings
on the device itself. Keep yourself and the
device safe!
2.1 GENERAL
The device is compliant with current safety
regulations and guidelines.
Do not conduct any changes on the boiler!
2.2 SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE
BOILER
The information on safety advises is based on
valid regulations of the European Union when
the boiler was planned.
DANGER
The boiler must not be used by people with
handicapped skills or by children!
The instructions should be read before
assembly.
2.3 INTENDED USE
The boiler is only for heating water. Water
temperature can be regulated with additional
equipment.
DANGER
Any use of the boiler divergent of the above is
not permitted!.
Claims of any kind against the manufacturer
and / or his authorized representatives for dam-
age by improper use of the device are excluded.
For all damage in the event of improper use the
operator alone is liable.
3. TRANSPORT, PACKAG-
ING AND STORAGE
3.1 TRANSPORT INSPECTION
The parcel is to be checked on completeness
and transport damages immediately upon
receipt.
In the event of externally visible transport
damage the delivery should not be accepted or
accepted under reservation only. All damages
must be noted on shipping documents / delivery
note of the carrier.
Hidden damages must be reported immediately
after recognizing them. Compensation claims
can only be asserted within the complaint
deadlines.
3.2 PACKAGING
Do not throw away your device’s outer carton.
You might need it to store the boiler or in the
event of return.
NOTE
If you want to dispose the packaging, please
note the local regulations in your country.
Please recycle packaging materials where
possible.
Please check whether the device and the acces-
sories are complete. If any parts are missing,
please contact your seller.

5. ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
5.1 POSITION
The boiler must always be mounted horizontally,
in no other position.
With an aluminum frame 1 pc, bands clamp 2
pcs. and clamps with openning Ø5mm.
5.2 WATER
The safety valve is necessary for potential sedi-
ments of water to avoid overpressure.
In most cases the boiler has installed a corre-
sponding valve, unless sold differently. At the
valve can attach a water hose to derive water
sediments. The standard valve has a pressure
protection of 2.2 bar or similar.
Fresh water shouldn‘t be pumped into the boiler
at higher pressure than 2,3 bar.
If necessary, the pressure can be reduced. A cor-
responding pressure reduces can be purchased
from the manufacturer-
The hose connections should have an internal
diameter of 10mm and be of high quality.
WARNING
Burn hazard:
The water inside the boiler reaches high temper-
atures. Do not touch the hot water in the boiler!
There I a high risk to get burned!
5.3 FIRST USE
When hoses are connected and valve is checked
the water pump can be started and the boiler


connection.
NOTE
The boiler may only be operated with drinking
water!
5.4 ELECTRIC HEATING FUNCTION
The applied heating rod heats water to a temper-
ature of over 70° C and regulates automatically
when this temperature is reached.
Use the electric heater function only when the
boiler is full.
The heating rod has the technical parameters
230V-500W, 24V -400W, 12V200W in the stand-
ard version of the boiler.
WARNING
Heat hazard!
The heating rod reaches high temperatures.
Touching the rods can lead to injuries!
5.5 EMPTYING
If the boiler is not used for a long time (winter
break, etc.), drain the water from the boiler. Be-
fore emptying, the boiler must be disconnected
from the electrical circuit. The boiler is emptied
by opening the safety valve and opening a tap or
shower tap so that the water circuit in the boiler
installation is open. Leave the safety valve open
until it is restarted.
DANGER
If there is frost, water can irreparably destroy
the boiler.
The manufacturer does not accept any guaran-
tee or liability for frost damage!
DANGER
Before emptying the boiler it must be discon-
nected from electricity!


5.6 BOILER INSTALLATION AS A KIT
The boiler can be installed in a vehicle with
Pundmann recommended compontents as a

sories on the manufacturer‘s website
www.pundmann.de.

NOTE
When installing a 4kw heater, make sure to
follow special installation advises below to
avoid longterm damage of the heater, overheat
and switch-off.
6. WARRANTY
The device has a 2 year manufacturer‘s guaran-
tee on product defects starting from delivery.

