INTRODUCTION
Dear customer,
You have chosen to purchase a QUINTEZZ compressor cooler box. We thank you for this
purchase and hope that your experiences with this quality product will be pleasant ones.
The cooler is an ideal companion for keeping your beverages, refreshments and food
refrigerated while on trips, picnics, camping excursions and shopping trips.
Important noces:
Before rst-me use of this unit, you should carefully read these user instrucons so that you
can then connect and operate your cooler accordingly. Please keep these user instrucons
so that you can reference them later on.
This unit may only be connected to the power sources intended for it!
Therefore make sure that the voltage on the cooler’s rang plate matches the voltage of the
power source before making the connecon.
When making connecons to boat or yacht power systems, be sure that the connecon is
properly protected (e.g. fuse)!

1. Lid;
2. Case;
3. Control panel with LED display & buons;
4. Handle (2x);
5. Connecon for 12/24V DC;
6. Connecon for 230V AC
OPERATION
All operang elements necessary to use this unit are gathered together into a single operator
panel in the upper part of the cooler.
7. Main switch for turning the unit on and o.
8. Selector switch for full cooling performance at maximum power consumpon
(“TURBO”) or energy-ecient operaon at reduced cooling performance.
9. Digital display of the desired/actual temperature.
10. Pre-select buon for seng the desired cooling temperature or raising the
temperature seng in increments of 1° C.
11. Pre-select buon for seng the desired cooling temperature or lowering the
temperature seng in increments of 1° C.
Aer the cooler has been set up, connected and switched on, the digital display will indicate
the measured temperature in the cooler (e.g. 20°). You can now use the pre-select buons
to set the desired temperature in increments of 1° by pressing the minus or plus buon
repeatedly unl the digital display shows the desired cooler temperature (e.g. -12°). If
you now release the pressed buon, the pre-set value will be conrmed by blinking in the
display. Thereaer, the display will again show the actual temperature inside the cooler and
the box will refrigerate the cool-space unl the desired temperature has been reached. The
cool-space has zones with slightly diering temperatures. The display always reects an
approximate average temperature.
Operate the unit in TURBO mode for parcularly low pre-select temperatures (under –12°
C) or to rapidly cool your refrigerated items. This will increase the cooling performance of
the unit.
Memory funcon: The cooler’s electronics stores the last-set cooling temperature. If the
cooler is switched o and then at some later me switched on again (without seng a new
temperature), the box will “remember” the last preset temperature and automacally use
this seng.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Always ensure that the selected power source is suitable for operang the cooler (see
technical data on the rang plate).
• Only use and transport the cooler in an upright posion. An angle of up to 35° is
permissible.
• Ensure that all connecon cables are rmly aached. Only unplug the connecon by
pulling on the plug itself, not on the cables.
• Ensure that venlaon slits are free of dirt and that the refrigeraon unit has adequate
venlaon.
• Never operate the unit with defecve connecng cables.
• Prevent hard or sharp objects from entering the venlaon slits.
• Protect the electric cooler from rain, moisture and spray water.
• Do not allow children to operate the unit unsupervised.
• Never open the cooling circuit.
• Never touch bare electric wires or contacts.
• When operang the unit on an AC power source, always be sure that the power source
is protected with an earth-fault switch.
• Disconnect the unit from the power source when it is not to be used for longer periods
of me.
• Before disposing an old appliance, please make sure it’s inoperave and safe. Unplug
the appliance and remove or destroy all of the springs, latches, or bolt-locks in order
to avoid the risk of child entrapment. It must be noted that the refrigeraon system
contains insulang gases and Refrigerants, which require specialized waste disposal.
The valuable materials contained in a refrigerator can be recycled. Contact your local
waste disposal center for proper disposal of an old appliance and contact your local
authority or your dealer if you have any queson. Please ensure that the pipe work
of your refrigerator does not get damaged prior to being picked up by the relevant
waste disposal center, and contribute to environmental awareness by insisng on an
appropriate, any-polluon method of disposal.
SET-UP AND CLEANING
1. Set-up
Place the unit on a solid oor or an appropriate surface where adequate inlet and outlet
venlaon is ensured.
A locaon in direct sunlight or in the immediate vicinity of heat sources, e.g. heaters, should
be avoided. The cooler should be set up such that it is protected from rain and spray water.
2. Cleaning
Please wipe out the cooler’s containers with a moist cloth prior to the unit’s rst usage. Never
use abrasive or causc agents. Wipe the cleaned surfaces dry with a so cloth. Use only clear
water to clean the lid’s seal. Rub talcum powder onto this seal from me to me.
Please be careful that water does not penetrate into the electronics located behind the
venlaon grille.
Useful advice:
Do not put open vessels of liquids directly into the cooler but rather always use the cool-
space only to cool closed containers such as boles, packaged products and so on.

- GB-6 -
OPERATION ON AN AC POWER SOURCE (100-240V)
This cooler can not only be run on a vehicle electrical system (12/24V), but also on an 100-
240V alternang current system.
Before you make the connecon and start the unit, please check that line supply voltage
meets unit operang voltage requirements as specied by the unit’s rang plate.
If the voltage is permissible, plug the earthed plug into a properly installed, earthed safety
outlet. An adapter may be necessary in some foreign countries where the format of standard
outlets are dierent.
The unit has an internal priority circuit.
NOTE: When using 24V and 230V together, make sure to plug in the 230V power cord rst
and aerwards the 24V power cord. Otherwise the appliance will “BEEP” indicang low
voltage. This is not a malfuncon.
OPERATION ON A VEHICLE’S BATTERY (12V OR 24V)
Please check whether baery voltage meets the requirements specied on the cooler’s
rang plate. Check to see that the power source is at least fuse-protected at 15 A (12V) or
7.5 A (24V).
If these condions are met, please use the 12V/24V cable provided with the cooler to make
the connecon at the rear-side of the cooler; insert the cable’s plug into the vehicle’s electric
outlet or the cigaree lighter socket.
Use a socket of at least 120W for 12V DC.
It is absolutely necessary to disconnect the cooler from the baery when a high-rate charger is
being used. When used in a p-up truck cab, switch o the cooler before pping the cab forward.
Useful advice:
Foodstus and beverages stored in the cooler should always be in closed containers or
wrapped so that air can circulate around these refrigerated items. Do not place warm or hot
foods or beverages into the cooler.
ICE CUBE TRAY
The provided ice cube tray can be lled with water and put on top of the inside element to
make ice cubes.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
A heavy build-up of frost and ice in the unit will reduce its cooling eect. Do not use sharp
objects to remove the layer of frost and ice; instead, switch o the unit and allow it to
defrost. It is recommended that the unit be regularly defrosted.
If the unit is not in use over an extended period of me, open the lid enough to produce an
air gap so that fresh air can circulate in the cool-space.

- GB-7 -
Important noce:
Maintenance or repair work, parcularly on the cooling aggregate, cooling circuit or
electronics, may only be performed by qualied technicians.
Troubleshoong noce:
Before you contact customer service with a problem, we recommend that you check the
following aspects:
• Is the unit in a suitable locaon where it has adequate venlaon?
• Does the outlet where the unit is connected have power?
• Is the connecng cable damaged?
• Is the plug fully inserted into the outlet?
• Is the unit switched on?
SERVICE
If you need to contact the service department, please send an e-mail to
support@quintezz.com and indicate the type number of your fridge, the serial number and
describe the failure.
