Tip: For proper operaon, you need 2 or more signal
strength bars!
Tip: This is NOT the current date and me! It is a me stamp
from when the POI was entered. In the screen example, we
are using POI #3, which was created (or entered) on June 1
at 14:57. By knowing when we created a POI, it helps us
keep track of what we are doing!
Tip: For proper operaon, you must be moving and holding
the AirLite GPS in front of you. The arrow is relave to your
direcon of movement! If you see a “chasing tail” circle
instead, you need to be moving in relaon to a POI.
Tip: Before seng out on your journey, you must set a Point
Of Interest. If you are simply out hiking, seng the POI at
your starng point will give you a valid POI to return to!

Tip: When trip recording is in progress, the walking man will
appear to the immediate right of the signal strength
indicator.

Tip: If you don’t see anything, you
don’t have a GPS satellite lock.

the SETTINGS.
Tip: This me is from the GPS constellaon, and it is really
accurate.

Tip: selecng infinite will use a lot of power and shorten
useful operaonal me.

Tip: for EDT, select -4. For CDT, select -5. For MDT, select -6.
For PDT, select -7.
Tip: The unit will automacally display some distance values
in fraconal miles or yards.
HOW TO ENTER AND SAVE A POI .

Really Big Tip: To avoid geng lost, you MUST save a
relevant POI before starng the trip. This simply means
seng the starng posion as a POI before you begin
hiking. Turn the unit on, let it get a GPS lock, then save the
current posion into a POI.
