Notes on Installation:
External Glass
This fire is able to be installed as either a room divider or on an external wall with the addition of a piece of toughened
glass. The manufacturer takes no responsibility for providing the means of meeting any regulatory or other building
requirements. There are more details on this option covered in the framing section on page 10.
Gas Supply
A suitable gas supply needs to be provided to the left hand rear corner of the installation cavity. The pipe sizing should
be calculated to supply at least 67 MJ/h.
Allow sufficient pipe to make the connection as shown below (Refer to the Commissioning section for details on gas and
power connection, page 12).
Electrical Supply
The fire is supplied with a power lead approx. 1.8 m long and fitted with a three pin plug. This needs to be plugged into
a socket, provided by an electrician, located preferably to the left of the fire, but somewhere that the power cord will not
be exposed to excessive heat. This socket need to be connected to an isolating wall switch, facing into the room.
This switch is used to isolate all power for servicing etc. but is not required for the normal operation of the fire.
The power cord is designed for a 230/240V a.c. 10 amp supply.
Electrical connection must comply with AS/NZS 3000.
