Brief Introduction
This product is suitable for use in buildings such as hotels,
restaurants, supermarkets and other public buildings with fire
protection systems. It can be used to indicate directions for an
exit or passage as well as to indicate storing locations of fire
safety products and dangerous materials. It can also be used
for emergency evacuation or fire protection.
Functions and Features
This product is made with high quality LEDs, which features
clear soft light, less power consumption and long working
life expectancy. As a result, it is regarded as an upgraded
replacement of normal exit lights with fluorescent tubes. It
is a continuous working emergency evacuation indication
light, assemblied with fully sealed nickel cadmium battery
and good electronic components. Its circuit has a function of
over charge and over discharge protection which can protect
the battery from damage and extend its lifetime greatly by
preventing the voltage from dropping to the limited value
when discharging.
Operation
1. When this product is connected to the mains power supply,
the green mains indicator and the red charging indicator
automatically turn on. When the light is fully charged, the
luminaire will light normally, while the red indicator
automatically turns off. Press the test switch, the luminaire
will flash for a short time and will remain on if it is
working correctly.
2. When the AC power is suddenly shutdown, the luminaire
remains on. Press the test switch for about one second, the
luminaire turns off. Press the test switch for half second,
the luminaire turns on.

Notes
1. Before operation please check if the voltage of mains supply is the same as the input voltage of this product. This product
has a nickel-cadmium battery installed. It is required to be charged for 18 hours before first operation to ensure the
emergency circuit works correctly.
2. Only use a fuse with the same specification (1.0A) for replacement.
3. If the yellow indicator is on during normal operation, it means the light has a malfunction or error and needs to be
repaired immediately.
4. Long storage time of this product will shorten its battery life. Therefore, it is strongly recommended to discharge and
recharge this product at least once every three months if it is not regularly used. It also needs to be discharged once every
six months even if it is regularly used. The battery installed needs to be replaced when the discharge time is less than 50%
of the rated time. Please note the size, the pole, the voltage and the capacity of the replaced battery, this must be the same
as the installed battery.
5. Period of guarantee on this product is within 1 year from the date of purchase. Guarantee will be void if the housing of
this product is removed without our permission.
ONCE A MONTH
Each unit should be energised from it’s battery for about 30 seconds by simulation of a failure of the normal lighting supply,
to ensure the lamp operates in the emergency condition.
TWICE A YEAR
Each unit should be energised from it’s battery for a continous period of at least one hour.
AFTER THREE YEARS & EACH SUBSEQUENT YEAR
Each unit should be energised for their 3 hours.

Guarantee
This product is guaranteed for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. The guarantee is invalid in the case of improper use, tampering, removal of the Q.C. date label, installation in
an improper working environment or installation not according to the current edition of the I.E.E. Wiring Regulations (BS7671). The guarantee is also invalidated if the luminaire has
been Mega tested. Should this product fail during the guarantee period it will be replaced free of charge, subject to correct installation and return of the faulty unit. We do not accept
responsibility for any installation costs associated with the replacement of this product. We reserve the right to alter specifications without prior notice.
