IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
1. Read all instructions carefully.
2. Before using the Water Boiler, check that the voltage indicated
corresponds with the electric outlet.
3. Do not use two-way socket with other appliance.
4. Do not use the Water Boiler if the lead or plug is damaged, it should
be replaced before using.
5. Do not use the Water boiler, when the water tank is empty.
6. Do not place the Water Boiler near gas stove, electric hob or heated
oven.
7. Put the Water Boiler on a flat stable surface and keep it away from
the edge of counter to avoid accidents.
8. Do not allow lead to touch hot surface of the Water Boiler.
9. To protect against electric shock, ensure hands are dry before using
the appliance and do not immerse the Water Boiler in water.
10. Plug the water boiler into an earthed socket before switching on.
11. Disconnect the unit from the electric outlet and allow to cool before
putting on or taking off any parts, or before cleaning.
12. After use switch OFF and pull the plug from the electric socket.
13. Do not use the Water Boiler for outdoors.
PARTS OF THE WATER BOILER
HOW TO USE
1. Open the lid and pour in water. Do not fill the Water Boiler above the max
water level indicator.
2. Plug in to the electrical socket.
3. On the switch button, “I”means “ON”, ”O”means “OFF”. Press to “I”, the
“Heating”Pilot light will light up and the water will start to heat up. Once
the water has boiled, the “Keep warm”Pilot light shows. Press the switch
button to “O”. to turn the boiler off.
4. Use the spout to dispense water.
WARNING:
·The outside of the appliance gets very hot during use. Do not touch the boiler.
·Do not remove the top cover while boiling.
·If the appliance is overfilled, boiling water may spill out.
Prevent Dry Boiling:
If there’s no water in the tank, the dry-boiling prevention function will be
activated. The power supply will be automatically cut off to prevent overheating
which may damage the boiler. When the temperature of the appliance drops, it
will automatically power on again. In the process, it may generate odour and the
colour of internal tank may change under dry-boiling. Do not power until more
water has been poured into the tank.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. Unplug the boiler, discard any remaining water, and allow to cool
before cleaning.
2. DISCOULORING OF THE WATER TANK
This is caused by oxidizing of iron content in tap water. It can be removed
using nylon brush and following these simple steps:
a. Cut a lemon into four, wrap the lemon in cloth and place in the
inner pot.
b. Pour water up to the full water indicator level.
c. Boil the water and let the mixture remain in the boiler for about 1
hour.
d. Pour out the water and use a nylon brush to clean the inner pot.
e. To remove the smell of the lemon, boil water again, and dispose
the water.
3. Lid and tank are washable with soap and water.
4. Body can be cleaned using a damp cloth and the must be wiped dry.
To avoid scratches, do not use abrasive materials.
5. Do not use baking soda to clean the appliance as it can discolour and damage
the parts.
