BEFORE FIRST USE
•Your a liance has been ackaged carefully to ensure the
roduct reaches you in good condition. If the roduct has
been damaged, dro ed, has a malfunction in any way, or
if the su ly cord is damaged, immediately contact your
retailer for re lacement or re air.
•Carefully un ack your a liance. Make sure you do not
discard any ackaging material until all arts of the
a liance have been found.
•Carefully wi e the exterior of the a liance and cooking
surface to remove any dust that may have accumulated.
Dry with a dry towel. Do not use harsh abrasive cleaners.
Remove any label or sticker.
WARNING! Do not immerse su ly cord, lug or robe in
water or any other liquids. Do not immerse the fry an in
water.
OPERATION
•Always lace the a liance on a level non-sli ery stable
surface.
•Always lace the a liance on a heat resistant surface, as
the a liance will reach high tem eratures.
•WARNING! DO NOT LEAVE ON WHILE UNATTENDED.
•WARNING! Always leave a ga of a roximately 20 cm
around the exterior of a liance when on. Never use near
curtains, under cu boards or near walls, or other
flammable material.
•WARNING! DO NOT ET SUPP Y CORD HANG OVER
THE EDGE OF ANY BENCH OR TAB ETOP. AS THERE
MAY BE A RISK OF SCA DING OR OTHER INJURY

•Ensure the tem erature controller is set to the ‘OFF’
osition. Attach the tem erature controller to the fry an,
ensuring that it is firmly ushed into lace. WARNING!
Never lug the controller into the a liance when it is
connected to the mains, always connect to the fry an first.
•This fry an must only be used with the controller su lied.
•Connect the su ly lug to the mains ower and switch on.
This appliance must be earthed.
•To turn ower on to the fry an sim ly adjust the
tem erature controller to the desired tem erature setting.
•The indicator lam and heating will cycle on and off
automatically once the selected tem erature is reached.
The a liance is ready for use.
•WARNING! Do not use metal tools or similar as these will
scratch the non-stick coating and damage the a liance.
Use wooden or lastic utensils.
•FIRST TIME USE! For first time use, coat the cooking
surface with a small amount of cooking oil.

The following guide gives a roximate cooking times. Times
will vary on different quantities.

NOTE! To revent foods from sticking to the cooking surface
use low tem eratures, ensure that there is sufficient liquid /
cooking oils and season the fry an surface before and after
each use.
NOTE! The first time you use your a liance; there may be a
small amount of smoke and odor. This is normal. It is due to
the heating of a rotective coating, laced on the heating
elements, to rotect the heating elements during shi ing.
C EANING AND CARING
WARNING! Always disconnect from the mains su ly and
remove the su ly robe before cleaning. Always allow your
a liance to cool com letely before final cleaning. WARNING!
DO NOT POUR COLD WATER INTO THE HOT FRY PAN AS THIS
MAY WARP THE APPLIANCE.
WARNING! Never immerse your su ly cord, lug or robe or
the a liance in water or other liquids. Ensure the fry an
ower inlet is com letely dry before use after cleaning.
•If required wi e the robe and su ly cord with a slightly
dam cloth, dry with a dry towel.

•Wi e the surface of the fry an with a cloth and hot soa y
water. Dry with a dry towel. Ensure that no water enters
the ower inlet socket area. Allow to dry com letely before
re-use.
•Do not use scouring ads or harsh abrasives as they may
damage any lastic, non-stick surface or the exterior finish.
•To remove hard to shift stains or food items fill with HOT
soa y water and leave to soak. This will soften the material
and make it easier to clean.
•Always re-season the fry an by rubbing a small amount of
oil into the cooking surface after cleaning and before
storage.
•Store your a liance in its original box or in a dry
cu board.
•Do not use metal utensils as they may scratch the cooking
surface.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical a liances, basic safety recautions
should always be followed including the following:
1. Carefully read these instructions before using your
a liance.
2. VERY IMPORTANT: Do not immerse in water or other
liquids or use near washbasins or sinks. Ensure that
the a liance does not get wet (water s lashes etc.)
and do not use it with wet hands. Do not immerse the
su ly cord, lug or robe in water, wi e with a dam
cloth if required.
3. Safely dis ose of lastic bags and other com onents of
the ackaging. They may be otentially dangerous to
children.
4. WARNING! Un lug from mains outlet when a liance is
not in use, filling with water or cleaning.

5. An a liance dro ed or damaged should not be used
until examined by a service engineer.
6. Do not ermit the mains lead to come in contact with
hot objects.
7. If the su ly cord is damaged, it must be re laced by
the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly
qualified erson in order to avoid a hazard. Re lace
only with a suitable authorised re lacement art.
8. CAUTION: Kee out of reach of children. This a liance
is not intended for use by young children or infirm
ersons. Young children must be su ervised to ensure
that they do not lay with the a liance
9. Use this a liance only for its intended use. Use only
genuine attachments su lied by an authorised Service
Dealer.
10. This a liance is intended for household use only and
not for commercial or industrial use.
11. The a liance should not be used outdoors, laced near
a hot gas or electrical burner or laced in a heated
oven.
12. WARNING! Do not let the cord hang over edge of table
or counter. Risk of scalding.
13. WARNING! An a liance should never be left
unattended when lugged in.
14. WARNING! Hot surfaces or steam. Kee away from hot
steam. Do not touch hot surfaces.
15. WARNING! Always lace the a liance on a heat
resistant surface.
16. WARNING! Ensure adequate ventilation; kee an o en
s ace of a roximately 20 cm all around the a liance.
17. WARNING! Do not use the a liance near flammable
materials such as curtains, or other combustible
material.

18. If a liance is to be used by a third arty, lease su ly
the instruction manual with it.
19. No liability can be acce ted for any damage caused by
non-com liance with these instructions or any other
im ro er use or mishandling.
CAUTION
Do not attem t to service this a liance yourself. Refer
servicing to qualified service ersonnel.

This roduct is guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanshi for a
eriod of twelve months from the date of urchase. The obligation to the
urchaser under this warranty is limited to servicing the unit and re lacing
defective arts when the roduct is returned freight re aid to the retailer.
This warranty becomes void if the roduct has been tam ered with, damaged
by accident, damaged in any other way by im ro er use or has been
urchased second hand. All roduction orders have quality ins ections. In the
unlikely event of a deficiency, lease contact the retailer from whom this
roduct was urchased.
