AKVOLITO™
INTRODUCTION
AKVOLITO™ bath deckchair for children has a water permeable mesh
upholstery which makes it perfect for using during baths. It is also equipped with
an adjustable head, trunk and feet support which protect the child during
experiencing involuntary movements. The stabilizing system secures the child
during everyday activities as well as while taking a bath. Children are able to
adapt a stable and comfortable position thanks to which it is easier for them to
take a bath. The tension of the upholstery can be adjusted with the help of the
rear stabilizing belts.
AKVOLITO™ bath deckchair for children is highly helpful while taking care of
disabled children. The use of the product makes the bath easier due to the fact
that the child is secured an is not going to sustain any injury. Moreover, parents
are able to rehabilitate children and perform all bath activities single-handedly.
Children adapt a stable and comfortable position thanks to which it is easier for
them to take a bath.
AKVOLITO™ bath deckchair for children has been made of aluminum frame and
its construction is resistant to harmful water influence. The bath chair is also
equipped with the adjustment of the tilt angle concerning the footrest, seat,
backrest and headrest which make it possible to adjust the chair to the child's
needs (both in a sitting and lying position).

This manual contains information necessary for correct use of
AKVOLITO™ bath deckchair for children, preparation of the device before the
use, maintenance and cleaning as well as the guarantee conditions. Manual
should be kept in an easy accessible place.
Please, remember that following the rules of the manual enables safe use of the
product, its extended life and esthetics.

To put on the upholstery on the frame
first you must :
adjust the angle between the backrest and
the footrest (according to fig.1)
-Insert the upper part of upholstery on the
frame of the back support (fig. 2, 3)
- Press joints (G and F) at the same time
-Push the bottom part of the upholstery onto
the footrest frame (fig. 4)

Fasten all straps with velcro closures from the underside of the lounger (fig. 5- 7).
Please keep in mind that the straps should cover the seat frame.

It is necessary to use special joints so as to adjust AKVOLITO™ bath
deckchair for children. It is possible to adjust following parts of AKVOLITO™:

THE TILT ANGLE OF DECKCHAIR
STEP 1. Fix belt with head stabilizing pelottes at chosen height. Belt should be
fastened at the back of chair by means of Velcro tapes. The distance of
pelottes can be adjusted.
Every standard AKVOLITO™ bath deckchair is equipped with head support,
trunk stabilizing belt and feet stabilizing belts. All these parts secure the patient
while using the product. Please follow these steps mentioned below to use the
product:

STEP 2. Fix trunk stabilizing belt. Belt is fastened with Velcro tapes and it can be
fixed at any height. It is necessary to thread belt through grommets which are
situated on either backrest or seat. Next, fasten the belt.
STEP 3. Fix feet stabilizing belts. Belts are fastened with the aid of Velcro tapes
and they can be fixed at any height. It is necessary to thread belts through
grommets which are situated on footrest. Next, fasten belts.

UPHOLSTER
Tension of upholster can be easily adjusted by straps with Velcros that are
located under the deckchair.

All BodyMap cushions are waterproof and highly thanks to which it is
recommended to use them together with AKVOLITO™ bath deckchair so as to
enhance upright standing and secure the patient while performing nursing
activities.
STEP 2. Fix BodyMap cushions with the aid of fastening set that is included in
optional equipment for AKVOLITO™ bath deckchair. Each set is equipped with
pelvic-thigh belt, two wide belts that stabilize the patient and three Velcro tapes
that are used to place BodyMap cushion on seat .
Please follow steps mentioned below to fix BodyMap cushion:
STEP 1. Disassemble head support, trunk stabilizing belt and feet stabilizing
belts.

Before fixing the BodyMap cushion on the both seat, it is necessery to assemble
special Velcros in lower, medium and upper part of the seat. Self-adhesive
surface of BodyMap cushion makes it possible to fix it quickly on bath deckchair.
STEP 3. Then fix belts stabilizing the patient. Belts are fastened by Velcro tapes
and buckle. Below you can see the conect assembling process:

STEP 4. To fix BodyMap cushion it is
necessary to unfasten stabilizing belts.
Place cushion on AKVOLITO™ bath
deckchair in a way that its self-adhesive
surface touches bath seat's upholstery.
Next, place the patient on cushion and
fasten stabilizing belts. Please remember
that BodyMap cushion has to be shaped
according to patient's body because only
then cushion correctly stabilizes the
patient both in sitting. Please familiarize
yourself with the guidelines concerning
shaping the cushions which are included in
user manual for cushions.

THE USE OF PRODUCT
Our device works correctly only when the product is adjusted according
to patient's height as well as weight. Remember to take all these
measurements into account while purchasing the product. Correct
adjustment of bath chair is the most important thing due to the fact that
only then the product is safe. It is forbidden to force child to keep
specific position because he/she will feel uncomfortable and it may lead
to wrong posture.
CAUTION! The product has to be used with compliance to
guidelines included in this user manual and with trained
person. Before every using, there is necessery to prepare the
patient and the device!
CAUTION! Befor using, remember to make sure that all belts
and locking are correctly adjusted and fastened.

Please follow steps below before the use of product:
· Unfold the device,
· Place the device on even surface, without slopes,
· Make sure that all parts are serviceable, correctly mounted and stable,
· Adjust bath seat and head support to patient's measurements,
· Unfasten trunk stabilizing belt and feet stabilizing belts,
· Place the patient in bath seat and secure him/her by set of belts from
standard equipment.
If product is used together with BodyMap cushion; first fix cushion on bath
chair with the set of fastening and then shape it according to patient's body.

It is highly important to consult either doctor or physiotherapist in order
to make right decision concerning the choice of low bath deckchair and its size.
It is essential to familiarize with the guidelines described in instruction manual
before using the device.
· make sure that all screws, nuts and other threaded, glued and sewn parts
are firmly tightened;
· always use stabilizing belts: Velcro tapes from these belts has to overlap
min. 8cm;
· secure the patient with the aid of head support, trunk stabilizing belt and
feet stabilizing belts. It is necessary due to the fact that it protects the
patient against falling out of the device.

So as to do that, it is essential to comply with these guidelines:
· It is possible to disassemble upholstery and clean it with the aid of washing
machine, Maximum temperature is 60 degrees;
AKVOLITO™ bath deckchair for children should be kept clean and used
in compliance with the manufacturer's recommendations. The device should be
kept in clean, dry and ventilated room. Maintenance as well as cleaning have to
be performed at least once a month. Regular cleaning and maintenance of bath
